Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 18/06/2007 10:22

i seem to be the only one in the June thread can I come over here please! I am CD26 of that I think is a 32 day cyle my boobs have swollen and hurt and this morning I felt very sicky so I did a pg test (way too early I know) and it was BFN i am stupid as it made me wuite sad and now I am doubting myself big time! I hate this the whole one minute willing to bet everything on that I am and the next thinking oh you silly cow of course your not!

Also i really shouldnt be trying anyway as i should lose another three stone first (I have lost 4 1/2 i put on 6 1/2 when pg with DS which I am not going to do this time!!!) so if I do fall i will have to pretend to the doctor that its an accident

Soph73 · 18/06/2007 11:37

Morning all. Huge congrats lexie Let´s hope more of us are joining you soon

Marmite - why the name change? Although, I admit, it is a good one. I love the stuff DH was given some Guinness Marmite for his birthday and is refusing to open it until we´ve eaten the normal one

Not much to report my end. DH and I fell out on Friday and it took until yesterday before we made up, which I was very pleased about as I´m now CD8 and need to start getting lots of action in

pinkys · 18/06/2007 14:12

Lexie100 · 18/06/2007 19:41

Thanks for all the congrats.

A big thanks to all of you who have helped me over the past months. I was ready to give up TTC time and time again when AF arrived. What would we do without MN!

Good luck with all the BDing.

poppy75 · 18/06/2007 21:46

Hello

Have been reading thread but this will be first message on it. Congratulations lexie100 have been ttc for past 8 months since MC so it is so good to hear your good news that it does happen. Everyone around me seems to fall pregnant without really trying. I haven't ever tried charting temps what does everyone think?? Tried Ov kits but didn't work only used them for 5 days and didn't realise that I could be ov later in the month. My progestrone levels are apparently normal, any advise???

3catstoo · 19/06/2007 12:07

Hello,
Can I join in please?

This is my 11th cycle ttc no 4.
So far had blood tests and HSG. All fine except for my thyroid. I have an underactive one. Only picked up through fertility tests so quite early stages.
GP didn't seem to think it will be effecting my fertility at this stage but it's the only thing that can be stopping us so I'm sticking to that.

Tried temping but got too stressed with it. Now just use OPKs around time of Ov and check CM around that time.

Am on CD3 now and will probably Ov around CD20.

scorpio1 · 19/06/2007 12:41

hey, just checking in, cd17 here and feeling good.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 19/06/2007 12:49

Bding loads I hope scorpio

scorpio1 · 19/06/2007 12:51

oh yeah.....think im stil lfertile, this is the 5th day of ewcm. is that right??

poppy75 · 19/06/2007 17:01

What's ewcm???

Treenie · 19/06/2007 17:17

Poppy is this you're first baby you are TTC for? I'm so very sorry to hear about your MC and hope it isn't insensitive to ask if it's your first as that one obviously was, but I wanted to ask you to come and join us on the TTC no 1 thread if you like? We're a nice bunch and you are so welcome. Just thought you might like it cause we've all found it helps to talk to people in the same boat. It's the thread talking about glastonbury - you'll see what I mean!
x

BabyBratt · 19/06/2007 19:42

Hi Poppy

I normally hang in the Glasto Thread - the thread that Treenie is talking about.

I have been trying for my 1st for 7 mths with no joy. I only discovered MN last month and it took me a little while to start chatting because everyone seem to know one another but there are some really lovely people on here. I find it has relaxed me alot to know that there are people in the same boat as me because it can be very lonely in real life.

Have you tried Zita West's book, I like her approach because it is not all about taking temps etc.

Good luck I look forward to seeing you around the threads.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 19/06/2007 20:55

Well I dont feel PG i the slightest now I thought I did a few days ago but nothing now oh well there is always next month! I am going to do a pg test tomorrow as I am 28 days but I think my cycle could be as much as 32 ahhhh the wait is driving me mad!

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 19/06/2007 20:57

Also I read today that your curvix should be high and soft if your pg but mine is low and soft so am completely confused there keep thinking maybe its not soft and if thats the case then af is def on the way

BabyBratt · 19/06/2007 22:24

I have been reading a book by Zita West and she says that we should not feel our cervix as it can upset your mucus and that is the best indication of ovulation.

She also says not to take you temp because is can become an obsession. But that does not stop me. I have noticed that my temp drops and that is the day I AF arrives

Try to keep your chin up but it kills me every month I am sure I have all the symptoms and then my AF arrives. I am not sure sometimes why we put ourselves through it. No one should ever underestimate a woman desire for a baby.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 20/06/2007 03:08

Well I have had another really bad dose of IBS tonight been up since 12 rolling around the floor did a PG test just now as am cd28 and BFN also the test is ultra sensitive 10iu so if i was PG am sure it would show up really feel like crying as has so much hope doesnt help that the IBS pain is so bad! but then I look at my ds and think I am really lucky to have at least him and he gives me so much joy it may sound mad but I feel i love him more over the last few months of ttc I have quite bad postnatel depression when I had him and it took me a long time to love him rather than feel responsible for him but he is a star he is 3 on Sunday when I think AF is due which is a bummer but I am going to try and forget about ttc for a few days as its driving me mad and I think the stress of it all is making my IBS worse

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 20/06/2007 09:20

Ignore the rants of a tired, unhappy women who was in quite a lot of pain!!

I feel much better this morning after a few hours sleep although could have done with not having to come to work today but there you go! I dont feel remotely PG and as said a BFN last night with the ultra sensitive test so very unlikely this month roll on next month so I can start it all again!

alittlebitshy · 20/06/2007 09:26

poor you lsm
I know what you mena about realising how much you love your lo through this ttc battle!

Sorry to have started this thread and never come back .
Thing is i got a bfp last week, but was worried anyway after a m/c in march. Then i had another m/c yesterday - it was early -5+5 - but I was def pg and i am sore now

so while i'm not actively ttc this month, i'm still going to come on and chat here if that's okay...
