Hi dontlook Join in! its quite quite in here at the mo'

EllieG · 11/06/2007 14:52

Hey don'tlook! My cycles are a bit barmy too - keep being really short and not sure when I OV tbh.
my1st - my friend has just conceived twins after her first try of IVF - am really chuffed for her. Is lucky result but it was a difficult treatment, she ended up in hospital because her ovaries were over-stimulated or something. But she has ended up with two little beanies so is very happy.

Soph73 · 11/06/2007 15:15

Thought I´d join in too and say hello to all the newcomers My period is due any time between the 8th & 15th July as I seem to either start a period on cd28 or cd35!

my1st - I think it sometimes feels so lonely because you can´t or don´t want to tell anyone in RL what you´re up to But we´re all here to help & support each other which is great when you´re feeling like crap

Hi Soph. You are right, we're not telling anyone we are ttc again after my m/c. I just know I wouldn't be able to cope if anyone asks me about ttc. I'm very lucky that my in laws and parents are very relaxed and never put any pressure on us even though I know they are simply dying to have grandchildren. I'm glad I've discovered MN-it has kept my sanity through my m/c. I'm feeling much better today and was able to put up a brave face at work. Went window shopping during lunch break, which always helps .

Soph73 · 11/06/2007 16:32

Oooo love window shopping - unfortunately I only get 30 mins for lunch and we work in the middle of nowhere so not much time for window shopping

EllieG · 12/06/2007 09:02

Window shopping is all I can do at the moment as I'm so skint! Hey-ho.
Ten days to go til AF due. Am NOT going to test though until is really late so I don't get my hopes up as am probably not PG.

Soph73 · 12/06/2007 09:11

Morning all. Ellie I know what you mean, although my dh was sooo sweet the other week. He´d hid some money away because he knew I was going out and could really do with some new clothes so surprised me with this money and told me to go out and get something

EllieG · 12/06/2007 09:50

Bless. He sounds lovely.

fruitgum · 13/06/2007 11:22

hello all, meto here - have yuet another name change (too mnay RL folks are starting to know me online! lol.) i'm on for july I think?? or might even be early august now depending on when AF finally shows herself to me! this month DH/I have decided to have one month of the john wayne style of bd'oing- literally 24/7 type thing! lol - just hoping OV falls on a w/e so we can manage it a few times over the right period!

fruitgum · 13/06/2007 11:23

annie - I think the only way is the 21 day test - or blood work done 7 days after OV. are you sure of the day you are ov'ing?

spugs · 13/06/2007 19:35

I am now officially moving over here, cd 1 today, feeling shitty as should not have been having bloody period and should have been 12 weeks on Sunday. AGGHHHH. Plus OFSTED evil gits that they are are inspecting my school for the next to days.

EllieG · 13/06/2007 20:52

Bastards. We're having an inspection (not at a school work for social services) soon and the manager is pooing herself. Hey-ho. Am trying to cultivate buddhist state of detachment about everything at moment including TTC. Not sure is working though.

scorpio1 · 14/06/2007 09:21

spugs-bloody period but at least its all working iyswim? so sorry

a quick ponder for people - TMI btw...

i have had a tiny bit of ewcm yesterday and quite a bit today so far, v stretchy, clear, etc.i have also had cramps and tiny streaks of blood.but im only cd12 and my last 2 cycles have been average 41 days.any ideas?thankyou btw i am not using opks, dont want to either

lissie · 14/06/2007 10:12

it could be an odd short cycle. CD12 is quite a common date for ov. before your dc's what werte your cycles like?

scorpio1 · 14/06/2007 10:14

about 30 days. they seem to have lengthened and got worse after each child!
