Hello all. Just come off my period and already trying... and will continue to do so every bloomin' day this month just to be sure :-)

Good luck everyone xx

libralady · 22/07/2007 17:03

It's been quiet on here for the last couple of days. Has anyone been affected by the floods?

AussieSim · 23/07/2007 04:24

Hi Guys
Good Luck LouiseX!
That is July done and dusted for me! I wasted a damn fine pregnancy test on CD28. Bring on the August Thread! I am CD 3. I am tossing up whether to go the Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs ... I think I will dig out my Maybe Baby to know exactly when my OV is this time, but will still stick to BD every second day from day 10 - 20. At least DH likes it .

libralady · 23/07/2007 07:22

Hi eveyone,
Well another weeks begins and it's the start of the summer hols and what's the weather doing?............ it's raining of course.
My DH can't believe his luck at the mo with all the bd'ing we've been doing. Let's hope all his hard work pays off this month. I am now CD15, so hopefully something may start happening. Poor DH though, he is sooo tired and he had to get up early this morning (5am) to drive to Manchester to do a job. We live in Dorset. I'll be lucky if I see him before 9pm tonight so I don't think any bd'ing will be on the agenda this evening. Oh well C'est la vie!
Hope everyone has had a good weekend and haven't been troubled too much by the terrible floods. Did anyone watch the chaotic GP and the exciting finish to the Golf?

kneazlechick · 23/07/2007 16:59

Hi all

I've been away over the weekend on account of not wanting to see ant spoilers on Harry Potter (yes, I'm 'one of those' )

Also been poorly with a d+v So no sex here for a few days! Ah well, starting my provera next Monday, assuming I don't start a period naturally before then.

Hope everyone is OK. Completely forgot about the golf - who won? Missed the GP too but know the result.

ladylush · 24/07/2007 14:03

sorry to hear about the d+v kneazel I've had the d part due to side effects of my penicillin.

tigerschick · 24/07/2007 16:16

What you taking penecilin for ladylush? - If you don't mind me asking [smie]

Feeling much better - but will still poke dh in the eye if he suggests any shagging tonight!!

tigerschick · 24/07/2007 16:16

Doh!

I got tired of my Harry Potter name - now that I've read the book - so I changed back.

ladylush · 24/07/2007 20:25

Yes don't let him do any poking I've been taking it for sinusitis. Had it for 3 weeks and enough is enough

tigerschick · 25/07/2007 09:21

Ooh - sinusitis is horrid. I've had a nasty headache since Saturday. It's one of those that really hurts when you lean forwards but is just a dull ache the rest of the time, so you forget and lean forward, and ARRRRGH!!!!

Anyway - enough of my whining! I'm still counting down to when I start taking provera, only 5 days to go. Then it's a matter of letting the drugs do their job, then me and dh can do ours

Hope everyone is well today.

ladylush · 25/07/2007 21:29

Ooh glad you've changed your name back - I like Tigers but am a bit dubious about Kneazles U sure you haven't got a touch of sinusitis too - only that leaning forward and getting pain is a classic symptom. If it doesn't clear up you might need some amoxycillin.

Glad you can start the treatment soon Just hope you feel in the mood at the right time

It is now 2 weeks since my ERPC so I am allowed to get it on again - and use scented bath stuff (yippee). Cheated on the latter a few times

I spoke to my mates hubby who is an obs/gynae and he has advised (via telephone!)that I might need to go on aspirin and heparin when I get pregnant again. I can take the aspirin before I get pregnant, but should start the heparin once there is a foetal heartbeat. Must speak to Mrs McJ as she is on heparin I think.

libralady · 26/07/2007 22:00

Hi Ladylush,
Sorry I'm being a bit dense. Can you please tell me what ERPC is

ladylush · 26/07/2007 23:10

No you're not dense hun - medical terminology is designed to baffle It stands for Evacuation of Retained Products of Conception and is I think the same thing as a D&C.

libralady · 26/07/2007 23:14

Thanks for this. I'm so sorry Ladylush. I even looked on the acronyms and found nothing. Hope you have better luck this month.
Take care
Libralady xx

ladylush · 27/07/2007 09:17

Thanks, I have no idea where I am in my cycle but I am having reflexology which is supposed to help balance the hormones so heres hoping Good luck for you too

libralady · 27/07/2007 09:24

Funny you should say about reflexology.:0 Whilst I was on holiday I had a session as we were staying in 5* apartments and there were all this beauty and health bits and pieces on site so I treated myself. I obviously conceived whilst we were on holiday after being told I couldn't get pregnant without assistance and I've heard since from several others that reflexology helped them too. I didn't know about it before hand. I just throught I'd pamper myself. It's sooooo lovely isn't it?

ladylush · 27/07/2007 09:31

Yes it's very relaxing. The lady who I see specialises in obstetric reflexology and got into it because she conceived after having reflexology. She said I should have it weekly until my cycle gets back to normal, but only twice a month after that as it's not advised if you are pregnant - so need to work out safe times. I wouldn't be surprised if you conceived as a result of the reflexology - plus the holiday of course

tigerschick · 29/07/2007 21:23

Hello ladies

My next-door-neighbour does reflexoloy. She is a self-confessed prude and so as soon as she touches the area of my foot related to, what she calls, "lady bits" she pulls back and says - "ooh, I'll leave that bit alone!"

Anyway - got to do a hpt in the morning to make sure I'm not pg before starting provera. Otherwise it would basically be an abortion Don't know how to feel about it coz I would be over the moon if it was a bfp but also very confused! (also a bit worried as I got p*ssed last night )

Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

Scorpio - if you are back - hope you had a great holiday and what the f* are you doing back on here so soon?!?

ladylush · 30/07/2007 00:10

How can you be a reflexologist and be prudish? Silly cow. Mine isn't a prude thankfully Good luck with everything tomorrow.

ladylush · 30/07/2007 00:11

ps if it was a bfp I wouldn't worry about being pissed last night, afterall I'm sure many of us were conceived that way

tigerschick · 30/07/2007 07:41

OK - done that, got the expected bfn so am off to start taking provera.

Is there an August thread yet? Think I'll have a look and, if not, I'll start one as that's what I'm going to be doing - ttc in August!

lissie · 30/07/2007 07:46

there is, i'll bump it for you! sorry about your bfn

lissie · 30/07/2007 07:52

august thread

tigerschick · 30/07/2007 10:22

Ta lissie - found it and posted on there just now
