Hi lovelies!

A thread for the graduates of those who were waiting to TTC and are now actively trying, or very soon to be actively trying! Apologies if I've forgotten anyone or tagged the wrong people, please do join in or join later as necessary! Hoping we can continue to support and keep each other sane in this TTC madness!

@noseringgirl thank you! I’m shaking in disbelief! Also now worried sick as still another few days until AF is actually due. We also used preseed x

@Emiloux CONGRATS!! That's fantastic news 😁 your eggo is preggo!

I know what you mean about worrying because AF isn't due yet - me too! She was due 2 days from now and I'm feeling really achy so I'm worrying a bit but really trying not to. So I tested again this morning 12dpo with a CBD and got this. I purposefully didn't buy the one with the weeks indicator because I knew I would worry and obsess about the numbers going up at the right time (or not)

@Emiloux another vote for preseed then! Was it your first cycle using it? X

Thank you @rollerskaterdata I did wonder if you would do any more, I’ve got a couple more FR tests so will do them over the coming days then will upgrade to a digital. This is such an emotional rollercoaster! I’m also really achy, my legs hips and lower tummy. Keeping everything crossed (quite literally!!)

Emiloux · 22/09/2018 09:07

It was our second using preseed but not sure we actually caught my ov last month, definitely recommend it! X

Congrats to you too @Emi, how exciting! Grin Hopefully PreSeed will do the trick for us too then ... this is our first cycle using it and I should be due to ovulate soon, so keep your fingers crossed for me! Only problem is work is v stressful again at the moment, so bit worried I won’t ovulate properly as a result (seems to happen that way sometimes when I’m really stressed)!

@roller, fingers crossed the next few days go quickly, but I’ve always heard from other people that very early pregnancy can feel a lot like the start of a period, so try not to worry too much! Flowers

How’s everyone else getting along/where in your cycle are you all?

P.s. @Nosering, how’re things with you? Didn’t you say you were having an usually long cycle?!

Report
BusyBee27 · 22/09/2018 09:17

P.p.s. @roller, I’m surprised you got a positive on a CB before AF is due - aren’t they supposed to be kind of unreliable?! Is it possible you OVed earlier than you thought/the OPKs were slightly out?! It’s a positive sign either way!

Report
NoseringGirl · 22/09/2018 09:20

@BusyBee27 CD42 now! Usually only have 26 day cycles. I have PCOS and this didn't used to be uncommon for me but have been quite regular since AF returned after DS2. I did an OPK yesterday as I had some EWCM and it was close to positive. I think my body might still be trying to ovulate but honestly not sure what's going on. I don't like it though!

Report
BusyBee27 · 22/09/2018 09:29

@Nosering, are you sure you’re not pregnant?! I thought I’d heard somewhere that you can get a positive OPK if you are?... Or yes, I guess you could be having an odd cycle where your body is trying to ovulate and finding it tricky, what a pain!!

@Emi, forgot to ask this about PreSeed, but did you also use the applicator to put some inside before you BDed, or just use it on the outside?! Sorry to ask!

Report
Emiloux · 22/09/2018 09:33

@busybee last cycle I used the applicator religiously but as roller said it’s far too much if you use the recommended amont. This month I put it on my partner and used it that way, it all goes in the same place right?! 🙈

@BusyBee27 I've been testing every day since I got that "positive" on the Sainsbury's blue dye test. I've sometimes thought there was a faint line but nothing that's got any stronger so I think I've just had a really awful blue dye evap and then a load of line eye.

@Emiloux I'm only going to test once more, on Monday, the day AF would've been due (only because I have one more FRER and one more digital and don't want to waste them!). And then I'm going to step away from the tests and keep thinking sticky thoughts! Otherwise I'll get obsessed and work myself up even more than I am now. I'm so glad I'm not the only one hun, my thighs, hips, lower back and bum ache so much I've had to take paracetamol to take the edge off. It's not sharp pain or cramping, just a dull persistent ache! I don't remember it being like this with my son which is why I can't help but worry...but there's nothing I can do about it anyway apart from wait and see! Just hoping I have super high hormones and increased blood flow which is causing all the aching, it would explain why I've got such strong tests so early I suppose.

@BusyBee27 thanks hun. I've been reading early pregnancy feels just like AF so I'm trying to remember that, keep calm and carry on! From what I've read, CBD require greater amounts of HCG to turn positive which is why most women don't get a positive until AF due/late? Pretty sure I didn't Ov early as I used clearblue digital advanced OPKs and felt Ov too...I was just as surprised when it said pregnant! Didn't think it would do that for another few days and I took it with that in mind, I just wanted to see what would happen!

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever thanks hun! How are you getting on?!

@NoseringGirl that must be so frustrating, I hope you get some answers soon! Have you already had a positive OPK this cycle?

@Emiloux I know what you mean! Even though it's planned it's still a massive shock. I just sat on the toilet staring at my test for about 5 minutes just waiting for the second line to disappear. 😂

@rollerskaterdata I'm very well thank you!! Still very minimal symptoms so I'm being quite lucky. Fingers crossed it stays that way!!
In regards to your pains, I had quite bad period like pain and what I can only describe as dullness in my hips. I was concerned about it being ectopic. My midwife says you only have to be concerned if it comes on suddenly and is a constant pain that's gets progressively worse!

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever thanks for the tips hun, you would think I would remember all of this from my son's pregnancy 4 years ago but I do not! It's definitely nothing like that, just a dull ache in various lower body regions that comes and goes. It can start in my legs, then move to my lower back, then my hips - it's like my body parts take turns aching! Even my arms join in on the fun every now and then 😂 I don't mind, just hope I have a healthy and sticky bean growing in there! I've worked out I'm literally only 3+5 days pregnant 😲 it feels sooo early because I found out with my son at 5+1! How many weeks are you now? 14 or thereabouts? X

@Emiloux it just occurred to me - we were cycle buddies this month so we must be around the exact same day of pregnancy or thereabouts? I'm 13dpo today. We might be due date buddies! How are you feeling? X

@rollerskaterdata I know what you mean. The best way I can describe it to OH is that I feel like I've got the flu. 😂 that is early! You must have very good PTs! I'm really happy for you.
Yeah, I'm 13+5 😊 still doesn't feel really yet though. 😂

@rollerskaterdata yeah I had a positive OPK at my usual time but my temps didn't rise that much. Looking at my chart, I've got 3 bits where my temps start to go up and then drop again. Think it might be my body gearing up to ovulate but not doing it.

Morning @rollerskaterdata yes we are! I’m feeling ok, sicky in the mornings and achy on and off through out the day, back, legs tummy, sometimes bum! (TMI!) I put on my app my positive pregnancy test and it estimated my due date would be 30th April! Keeping everything crossed for a sticky egg! This is my first pregnancy so all new to me! Took a clear blue today still very much pregnant! How are you today? X

Have you been poorly or stressed this month @NoseringGirl? I had something similar a few months back with EWCM, where it kept coming and going throughout the month and it seemed like my body wasn’t trying to ovulate and failing. I put it down to stress in the end, as work was particularly hard that month, so could be something similar for you?

@rollerskaterdata and @Assume: I think I read somewhere that your body starts producing some sort of muscle relaxant from when you get pregnant and that your ligaments start to stretch, which is why you get aches and pains? Might explain why you’re both feeling/have felt like you’ve been in the wars!

@BusyBee27 I've just been talking to DH about that, it's definitely been a stressful few weeks so maybe that's bothering my ovaries!

@NoseringGirl sorry to hear that, hope things are a bit easier for you from now on Flowers Sure your ovaries will be back on form soon Grin
