Hi lovelies!

A thread for the graduates of those who were waiting to TTC and are now actively trying, or very soon to be actively trying! Apologies if I've forgotten anyone or tagged the wrong people, please do join in or join later as necessary! Hoping we can continue to support and keep each other sane in this TTC madness!

I know it's silly because I have the blood test results now to know my hCG, but I still did the clear blue digital again this morning 😂 here's hoping I get to 3+ next week 🤞🏻

Bad news - hCG is still rising but not as fast as it should. So more likely to be ectopic. Booked in for another scan tomorrow. I’m sure it’ll still be too early to see anything but they’re keen to try 🤷🏼‍♀️

Scan showed nothing. So they think it's either a non viable pregnancy or it's ectopic, so they're recommending the methotrexate either way. I decided I wanted one more hCG tomorrow, and then the methotrexate is booked for tomorrow afternoon provided that the hCG levels are still not where they should be. Means I can't TTC for three months. Pretty gutted.

Some pretty good news - my hCG Level this morning had only risen by 3, so they think it has maybe risen higher and then started dropping. If so, the pregnancy could be naturally ending on its own and I won't need the methotrexate to treat it. So methotrexate today was cancelled. Got another hCG check on Wednesday to see what it's doing - rising or staying the same, I'll need the methotrexate. Falling, and I can just wait for it to sort itself out, which would really be the best outcome. Never thought I'd would be happy to hear I was miscarrying! So can potentially have a 2019 baby after all 🙂

@PastaSauceHoarder it is really exhausting. Every time I go in, the plan changes. Really hoping that Wednesday will be the end of it! Can only just wait and see.

Had to have the methotrexate after all! My hCG rose again, so it seemed it wasn't going anywhere without a nudge from medicine. So now can't TTC until after 20th May 😢 but maybe it'll be nice to take a break. As at least I'll be getting a scan at 6 weeks for every pregnancy from now on. Small perks!

Just checking in to say hello and see how everyone is doing Smile I've been a bit AWOL lately as work has been super busy but I'm still here in the background.

Sorry to hear you've got to wait 3 months @mussie. Can you fill the 3 months with nice things so it feels like it goes quicker and there are things to look forward to?

@dottydally yeah I am starting to plan nice things, I'm sure time will fly. We're about to spend a lot of money doing up the garden, so that'll be nice, and I need to organise a weekend to visit my sister and her new kitten. I'm also perusing groupon for some nice afternoon teas 👀 I'll have to start a 'passing the time' budget or I can see me treating myself to everything left right and centre 😂
