Waiting to TTC Graduates Thread

Hi lovelies!

A thread for the graduates of those who were waiting to TTC and are now actively trying, or very soon to be actively trying! Apologies if I've forgotten anyone or tagged the wrong people, please do join in or join later as necessary! Hoping we can continue to support and keep each other sane in this TTC madness!

@rollerskaterdata I would have no self control at all to not open it if it was in my house! Maybe it would be nice to open Christmas morning if you decide to open it?

I feel really weird this month - to scared to do a test in case it's negative but equally feel odd so hoping for a positive... :/

@Pinkroseuk I thought that was a lovely idea myself! Thing is I'm not sure I want to know if he doesn't, even though I'd be able to keep the secret and he's happy for me to know. I want us both to know or not know the same thing if that makes sense?!

@rollerskaterdata aw I don't think I'd find out then. Especially if you are uncertain. I'd have to get rid of the paper but would you regret it?

@pinkroseuk I felt like that last month. I decided before starting to TTC that I wasn't going to test until AF is late, I just can't keep getting my hopes up every month. When is AF due?

Yeah that makes total sense- I would be the same - either we both know or we don't.
Yes I think I will in the morning - my stomach is really tight high up and I have been shattered with sensitive boobs- convinced myself it will be positive again though as don't want to be disappointed

Thanks @NeverHadANickname it's due Sunday but am having really long cycles of 3-4 months then having to take provera to force it still so probably won't get another period till mid March

@pinkroseuk that must be hard. I'll keep everything crossed for you 🤞 let us know the outcome if you do test.

@NeverHadANickname @Pinkroseuk exactly, either we both know or we both don't in my mind. I know he's not going to change his mind and I wouldn't try to make him either, plus given I'm undecided anyway I think we just keep chugging along not knowing! I would regret getting rid of the envelope though, it'll be a nice keepsake plus I can always look at it after I've given birth and see if they were right?! 😂

Thanks just tested and a negative so there won't be a 2019 baby born here :(
DH isn't awake yet so might break the news to him tonight instead.

@Pinkroseuk sorry about the BFN ☹️ when is AF due? I know it's said over and over but you're really not out until AF arrives. The month I got pg I was convinced I was out x

Thanks @rollerskaterdata due tomorrow but probably won't come till I take more tablets in March - will do another probably just before Christmas just in case -
It's the waiting that's the killer! I think I would be better even if I had Af every month and it was negative rather than this 3-4 times a year have a go! X

Hi ladies, I was on the other waiting group so hope you don't mind me popping over! I had a surprise BFP today (we were waiting til Jan but got less careful) and my app says 7 weeks! Can't wait to tell my OH when he gets home...now to decide how to tell him!

Really had hoped there would be a little one here by next Christmas but doesn't seem that way atm - seriously thinking of looking into adoption as well as my HSG results are back and looks like one tube might be blocked too :/ it's not been a good day but been trying to do Christmas things to take my mind off it xx

Oh @pinkroseuk sorry to hear your having such a hard time. I don't know about blocked tubes but are they able to unblock them?

Thanks @Jelliestogether. I will have to wait till March to discuss at the next appointment but I don't think they can going by what she said at the last appointment. We shall wait and see - March seems like a long way off atm but I'm sure it will be here soon xx

@rollerskaterdata that's very exciting about the scan! I didn't find out with either of mine, I don't think you will regret having a surprise. Agree that it's nice if you either both find out or both have a surprise, I don't think I could keep it a secret if DH didn't know and I did, would be so easy to slip up!

Still no AF for me, getting so bored of waiting! I'm gradually getting a bit more cm (sorry if tmi) since stopping the pill so hopefully that's a sign of things getting started.
