Hi lovelies!

A thread for the graduates of those who were waiting to TTC and are now actively trying, or very soon to be actively trying! Apologies if I've forgotten anyone or tagged the wrong people, please do join in or join later as necessary! Hoping we can continue to support and keep each other sane in this TTC madness!

@RandomUsernameHere I don't think anything is TMI on the conception boards. Except maybe when people post actual photos of their CM 😬
There's so much waiting involved in TTC and it does get really dull. I'm waiting to ovulate and it's still a bit early to start OPKs but I'm tempted just so I'm doing something!

RandomUsernameHere · 17/12/2018 20:41

😂 photos definitely would be tmi!!
I know what you mean about wanting to do something, I've never used opks before but might look into it too x

NeverHadANickname · 17/12/2018 21:03

@NoseringGirl I'm the same with feeling like I need to do something, the week after AF can be nearly as bad as the TWW.

NoseringGirl · 17/12/2018 21:35

My Ava bracelet has become pretty good at predicting when I'll ovulate (except for when I had those ridiculous cycles after the chemical) so I don't even really need OPKs. I just like feeling proactive. There's so little we can do and things we can control with TTC. To be honest, it's all just having sex and hoping for the best. It doesn't feel like enough though! I might be a bit of a control freak...

NeverHadANickname · 25/12/2018 14:45

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎅

mussie · 25/12/2018 16:41

Merry Christmas all!! No booze for me today - trying my hardest to get that BFP New Year's Day ☺️

RandomUsernameHere · 25/12/2018 21:06

Merry Christmas everyone! Hoping for lots of BFPs in the new year for us all!x

Pinkroseuk · 25/12/2018 21:20

Merry Christmas All- fingers crossed for our BFP next year xx

NoseringGirl · 26/12/2018 13:49

Merry Christmas! Hope everyone had a good one.
My New Years resolution is to get my PCOS under control!

NeverHadANickname · 27/12/2018 16:18

2018 obviously isn't our year 😒 at least I can have a glass or 2 of 🍷 for new year and every night up to it

I hope everyone had a good Christmas.

rollerskaterdata · 07/01/2019 09:04

Happy new year lovely ladies! I hope you all enjoyed your holidays. How is everyone getting on? X

Happy new year! I appear to be starting the year with another long and anovulatory cycle 😢
I've overhauled my diet and started vitamin b complex in the hopes it'll improve my PCOS. Will go back to the GP at some point to discuss other PCOS treatment options.
I hope everyone else's 2019 is off to a better start!

mussie · 07/01/2019 16:02

AF arrived for me on New Year's Day! Rubbish start to the year. Hoping that 2019 will be my year though. It had better be!

Sorry to hear that @NoseringGirl. Hope the doctors can get things rolling.

NoseringGirl · 07/01/2019 21:06

Sorry for AF @mussie I hope you get a January BFP!

rollerskaterdata · 18/01/2019 12:08

Hi all, how is everyone doing? Hope the January blues aren't getting anyone down too much xx

@dottydally if I remember correctly you're now officially TTC? How the time flies!

dottydally · 18/01/2019 19:35

@rollerskaterdata I was very excited to find you had tagged me on this thread! I'm tentatively checking in as technically I'm 2 weeks away from officially ttc, but we have passed my last non ttc fertile window so it looks like this is my new home!

How are you?

rollerskaterdata · 18/01/2019 21:35

@dottydally I remembered you saying you were TTC from January 🙂 I hope it's a short journey when you start in 2 weeks time, and do stick around when you get your BFP, we all do so we can go through the whole journey together as we've been from the very beginning when waiting! I still can't believe it's January though, time has truly flown 😱 will you be charting/BBTing or seeing how it goes to begin with?

I'm ok thank you, 21 weeks preggo now and found out at 20 week scan we're having a little girl 😊 I'm so excited! Not gonna lie, also excited to get to term and have the baby, I'm still battling morning sickness, tiredness and pelvic pain which will only get worse as bump grows. Still it'll all be worth it in the end! X

@rollerskaterdata I know! It's been a whole year since I joined the waiting thread. Seems a bit surreal! I promise to stick around! I have it in my head that we'll just see how it goes but I know I'm inclined to be very impatient. I've resisted ordering OPKs so far and hope to avoid them completely. I tried temping but I am too much of a dozer in the morning so was struggling to remember to do it early enoughSad what did you do?

I can't remember if I said congratulations, but I'm so pleased for you! Lovely news. You decided to find out then?? I'm not sure if I'll want to, but then cue impatient dotty and we will see. Anyway, getting a bit ahead of myself as I'm not pregnant yet! Sorry to hear you've been feeling rough, but you're over the halfway mark now Thanks

I've actually really missed everyone. All the originals left me as I think I had one of the longer waits. I've also been a bit off Mumsnet as life takes over, but I'm really excited to be back with you all. Lots of familiar names on this thread! I really ought to catch up..

NoseringGirl · 18/01/2019 22:50

Welcome to the grads thread @dottydally
Hope your road to your BFP is short one.

I'm still having wacky cycles since my early loss in July. Working to get my PCOS under control as I think that's been the issue since then. Cycles were regular for the first time in years before that. CD43 now and FF reckons I'm 9DPO but I'm doubtful. Temp has dipped below the coverline the last couple of days so mostly waiting for AF and hoping the next cycle is an ovulatory one.

dottydally · 19/01/2019 08:41

Thank you @NoseringGirl. I have days where I am really relaxed about it and days where I want it now now now. I'll see where we end up but I would really like to avoid making it like 'scheduled sex' if I can.

Sorry to hear about your loss Thanks is there anything the doctors will do you try and regulate things?

cupcakesandglitter · 19/01/2019 10:46

Oh @rollerskaterdata a girl ❤️❤️ I'm so pleased for you, glad it's all going well xx

@dottydally ahh the wait is finally over!! Welcome to the madness 😂😂 xx

Hey @NoseringGirl sorry you're still having messy cycles 😩 xx

I had a CP last cycle which completely screwed with my head - I knew I was pg, I could just tell but it was so amazing to get that BFP! I'm not holding out much hope for me this month, just trying to not obsess and take it easy I guess xx

NoseringGirl · 19/01/2019 11:07

@dottydally thanks! I saw the GP when I had the cycle that went over 90 days and we talked about me going back on metformin which I was on last time around. I'm going to try and get things under control myself through diet which I know can make a difference. It that doesn't work I'll go back and get on metformin again.

@cupcakesandglitter so sorry to hear about the chemical. It's horrible to get that BFP and have it taken away again Thanks all the best for this cycle.

cupcakesandglitter · 19/01/2019 11:22

Thanks @NoseringGirl x can I ask what diet you're going to do? I've had the scans and it turns out I don't have PCOS, apparently it's all okay down there - but I'm overweight and I know it's not helping at all. I'm eating white healthily (and I've cut out meat now too) but I'm worried with exercise as I don't want to do anything drastic when I'm still TTC? Xx

dottydally · 19/01/2019 11:23

@cupcakesandglitter yes! Lovely to see you here. How are you?

@NoseringGirl what kind of diet will you need to go on to get things under control?

cupcakesandglitter · 19/01/2019 11:31

I'm okay thanks @dottydally just trying to relax. Last month I didn't think about it, drank as much as I wanted and didn't time sex or anything like that.. and it worked. So trying that again (but I am temping just to see what's going on) xx
