Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

@loveshinealight possibly an evaporation line if it was after 30 mins. I think the blue dye tests are quite notorious for these 😔 you could always try again first thing in the morning?

Hi everyone! i am ttc #2. im on cd 23 and ovulated on cd15 i am fairly certain. i have 26-28 day cycles normally. i have poas so many times....ridiculous number maybe 35-40 sticks!!!! we started trying in june but was on the pill so only had the one period so far and before the period i was testing every couple of days like a proper nutcase!!
I've only poas once this cycle which was yesterday and no surprise it was negative. i knew it was too early even if i was pregnant.
i might poas tomorrow morning. i would be 9dpo haha is that too early??? am i actually crazy????

Carastarchild · 31/08/2018 20:57

@Loveshinealight test again in the morning with First Morning Urine. Fx for you 🤗

Fae1989 · 31/08/2018 22:57

Just checking in! Today’s been crazy! How is everyone this eve?

@Glamourbear - sorry to hear that, really hope you get your BFP soon!

@LunaBear - the internet can be so informative but terrifying at the same time. Definitely get yourself checked out if you’re worried but we’re all different and if it’s only been a few cycles for you that is normal (as annoying as it is!) I find NHS Choices to be a good source for info if that helps!

LottieB87 - definitely still early days! I got a faint faint line at 12 dpo and I had to invert it to see it! Fingers crossed for you :) I’m exactly the same with PMS symptoms which makes spotting pregnancy symptoms really hard! Sodding hormones haha. I’ve heard boobs hurting when they don’t normally is a good sign and the last time I got a BFP I felt like I’d been punched in the chest. When’s AF due for you?

@AlwaysInJods - how are you doing?

Sorry if I’ve missed anyone! Hope everyone is ok. X

ChikiTIKI · 01/09/2018 13:36

Ive been cramping again today and don't know what to make of it... Ive only had a few periods since I got pregnant the first time in Dec 2016 and can't remember if I used to get cramps before... Don't think I did... Not this much anyway...

When I was breastfeeding I had a few 'Phantom Periods' where I got really bad cramping for a week and no bleeding! Kind of reminding me of that.

I just overcooked my brownies :(

Hi @Lelizabeth1 ! I wouldn't test that soon if I were you. Hah I don't know why I am saying that because I totally tested that early this month!!! It was negative of course but it took away my optimism for the rest of the day. Everyone's different but I think it would have been better for me to stay excited! Good luck to you for this month!

Pops1985 · 01/09/2018 15:14

Hi guys, can I join?

TTC #2
Cycle 1

10 DPO, had a BFN this morning. I ovulated really late, CD 20 so not sure what that means and why. I usually have a 27 day cycle, today is cycle day 30. Think it’s all still a bit messed up after the implant.

Anyway, not counting myself out yet. I have had really bad cramps for the last two days, and not so much sore boobs but more sore nipples, sorry if that’s tmi Smile Last pregnancy I got tonnes of white CM, but didn’t get my BFP for 4 days after AF was due, so it obviously takes a while for my body to figure out what’s going on.

Good luck to all, sounds like there a few of us that are down but not out!

ChikiTIKI · 01/09/2018 15:31

Good luck @Pops1985 ! sounds promising!

Carastarchild · 01/09/2018 16:12

Hi all

I am the same. I think I am 10dpo, as I literally wasn't monitoring it. Life was pretty hectic that week.

I have had a lot of tugging and pulling sensations as well. Don't remember it being this noticable other cycles.

I have had issues in the past with a short luteal phase. I take vitamin C and vitamin b6. I also am detoxing my body by taking chlorella and drinking green smoothies. My luteal phase has slowly been improving.

GlamourBear · 01/09/2018 19:25

Welcome to the newbies to the thread! Fx for lots of baby dust on this thread Smile

Hoping to hear about some more BFPs soon!

Thank you for the warm welcome 💞

May all our dreams come true 🌟

GreatestShowWoman · 02/09/2018 01:18

I’m out symptoms stopped mid week and all tests are bfn! Pre period spotting has started 3 days late. Can only think that something went wrong.

Fae1989 · 02/09/2018 06:03

Morning ladies,

@GreatestShowWoman - sorry to hear that. Fx for you next month.

I just got a BFN 11 dpo. I was so happy I’d waited that long to test. Rubbish.

Hope everyone else is doing ok?

GlamourBear · 02/09/2018 06:56

@GreatestShowWoman sorry to hear that. I'm currently having my pre-AF spotting too. As @Fae1989 said fx for next month.

@Fae1989 I think 11dpo is still quite early so you're not out yet!

ChikiTIKI · 02/09/2018 08:38

Sorry to hear that @greatestshowwoman and @glamourbear good luck for next month.

I've been having lots more cramping in the night and this morning. Pinching pains on both sides too. Will be taking pads with me everywhere incase AF shows up :( if no AF, I will test at the weekend.

Welcome new people. Good luck to you all!

Fae1989 · 02/09/2018 10:32

@GlamourBear - sorry to hear that, lots of luck for next month!

@ChikiTIKI - fx she doesn’t show up for you!

loveshinealight · 02/09/2018 11:05

@GlamourBear @GreatestShowWoman - sorry to hear AF arrived. Hopefully next month.

I've been a poas addict.. all negative. It's not over till AF arrives though 🤞🏻

Fae1989 · 02/09/2018 11:33

@Loveshinealight - I like that thinking! I got BFNs too... must stay positive though!

Carastarchild · 02/09/2018 14:51

I found this online

"As soon as a healthy egg has been fertilised, and makes its way down the Fallopian tube to the uterus, the blood supply to the uterus increases dramatically. Even at this early stage, it starts to increase in size, and this can cause cramps very similar to those you may get just before your period. Don't panic! Cramping and funny pains may be felt all the way through your pregnancy. This tends to be because the uterus doesn't just float there in your abdomen, it's held in place by connective tissue that all has to stretch to accommodate your expanding baby. Don't forget that your entire lower abdomen gets completely rearranged by all this - and who knows where the ovaries end up!"

Halo Star Halo

Fae1989 · 02/09/2018 17:00

@Carastarchild - the symptoms are so similar aren’t they?!

Carastarchild · 02/09/2018 17:18

Definitely! That is why it is so confusing Confused. I have a feeling this isn't my month. I am really trying to get my luteal phase back to normal. I am currently 11 dpo, so fx AF won't arrive tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is doing okay. It's tough but at least we have each other on this thread Flowers

I am going to start temping and using opks so I can monitor things a bit better. Limbo land isn't the nicest place to be Flowers

GlamourBear · 02/09/2018 18:06

@Carastarchild it is nice knowing I'm not alone Flowers I must admit I was a bit rubbish with the opks this month I only tested two or three times. I remember with my last DC we tried for two months then third month I used opks and it happened. I'm going to to use them properly this month too and see if that helps Smile

I have decided to be optimistic about the cramps :) been having them a good few days now and they were quite bad last night at this morning but easing off now and just getting them every now and again usually after moving about. No bleeding so far so just got to be optimistic until I have reason not to be I suppose.

GlamourBear · 02/09/2018 20:04

@ChikiTIKI absolutely! Keeping my fx for baby dust 😊
