TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

Hi everyone! Can I join too? TTC #1, this is cycle 9/10.
Pretty sure I ovulated on the 26th so I'm 3DPO, genuinely already symptom spotting though I've been using OPKs but cannot get the hang of temping so am having a BBT break for a couple of months!

Definitely AF on the way, all too familiar throbbing pain in legs and cramps 😐 felt rotten all day, dizzy and super tired 😪 always next month!

Ive been feeling like my period might come but I'm only 6dpo I assume... Had some stabby pain too.

@luna with my first I was convinced my period was about to come because of cramps, I wore pads for a few days too because I felt so certain, but it never did. Fingers crossed for you!

How are you holding out @GlamourBear ? I'm toying with testing tomorrow @ 10dpo just to stop myself symptom spotting! I figure if I get a BFN I will still feel like there's a chance it's too early anyway and I'll stop thinking these sore BBs and the cramps I had a couple of days ago were signs! I've got some cheapish amazon tests (about a quid each, pack of 6). I've used them before, accurately gave me BFNs with no evap, but my friend who IS preg used one of mine when she found out and the line came up instantly and dark, so I think they're decent. They're called 'Ovaview' but there seems to be a few in that price range.

Well I POAS. No idea why as far too early. It was of course negative. Not even a squintier. Pure brilliant white.

BFN yesterday I caved! But still 6/7 days away from AF being due!

I've felt nauseaus for 3 days now but eating way more than usual. Also still have very tender boobs.

I'm waiting for internet cheapies and will then test every day until AF is due, not going to even try to hold out 🤣 I think my body is being cruel though and AF will turn up :-(

Cycle day 16 today and pretty certain I ovulated on cd14. Now the wait begins! I'm doing acupuncture, meditation, using preeseed, OPKs and have reduced my exercise levels so I'm really hopeful this month. We dtd on cd10, 12, 13 and 15 so we've done all we can. I'm just hoping I can hold out POAS until a resonable time has passed!!

How is everyone this evening? I've resisted the urge to buy tests and now 8 dpo so waiting until at least Sunday to use the one FRER I have! Good luck to you all, fingers crossed :)

I'm 'treating' myself to a cheap test tomorrow morning (10dpo) so I can stop obsessing.. yeah right that'll work.. watch this space for inevitable BFN! All my 'symptoms' have disappeared today except 1 slightly tingly boob. All my hope is now pinned on this one, tingly boob. What have I become???

@LottieB87 - tell me about it! They’re dragging now haha! That’s a good idea, waiting til 10dpo is pretty good, I never used to be able to wait that long. Do you find your Pms symptoms can be so similar?! It’s drives me crackers! Good luck to you, keep us posted (needing to live vicariously through others haha!) :)

I just took a test and it was negative. Too embarrassed to admit to my husband I tested so soon! Covertly put it in the kitchen bin so I am not tempted to keep looking at it. Had cramping today and even felt a bit sick. Only 6dpo but as my last cycle was unusually short I convinced myself for a moment I could somehow be a week further along.

Going to have lots of prawns and a strong rum cocktail if AF turns up :)

@chikiTIKI - does your other half get really cross when you test way too early!? Mine does! We all seem to be having symptoms around this mark so fingers crossed!

Anyone else feel absolutely knackered? I’m 8 dpo and feel like I’ve been hit by a bus! X

I'm also on 8dpo and trying so hard not to be constantly poas...

First cycle so really difficult not to obsess.

@ChikiTIKI Hi! I'm getting exactly the same crampy/stabby pains, feel as though AF is coming but pretty sure I'm only 4DPO!!

@LottieB87 Hello! Good luck tomorrow with internet cheapie, you've done well to wait until 10DPO The symptom spotting, is so frustrating isn't it, it drives me mad every month!

I can't remember how it played out with my first baby... I don't think I felt the period pains this early on but I did feel sharp pain which I am sure was implantation.

Haven't had a bloody nose yet. Sounds odd but last time I was pregnant I always said I will know straight away if pregnant again because every morning I got up, wiped my nose and I had bloody snot in there, for the whole 9 months! Only stopped after birth. Sorry for TMI !!

AF has made her appearance this morning I think. Only spotting but very usual for me for a few days before a proper flow. That's me out for this month ladies. I now have lots of internet cheapies to tempt me next month from 1dpo 🤣

I'm due on today, I'm hoping and praying the spotting from Wednesday was ib bleeding and the witch doesn't come.

AF turned up on Wednesday 😓 I should stop reading stuff on the internet, I had a sharp stabbing pain last night on one side, reading this morning I'm convinced I have endometriosis 😞 I know it's only been 3 months and last month we only tried properly but I want to go to a doctor just to make sure! Either that or we get extra busy next cycle 😂

Tested this morning (10dpo) after waking up constantly in the night all excited, having dreams about testing (in my dream it was positive!), I got a BFN :( still early though right!! Does anyone else use fertility friend? It's really good!

I'm really desperate for this month to be our month, our baby would be born in May, same month as me, my sister, my mum and my nan! I love the idea of it so much.

@GlamourBear FX maybe it's implantation, definitely would be within normal time frame, since you're 10dpo too? That would be quite a short luteal phase otherwise?

@Fae1989 I hope your symptoms turn out to be for something! I've never been pregnant so I'm only basing my 'symptoms' on what I usually get before AF - which is basically nothing. My hormones seem to do everything very quickly - the clearblue advanced OPKs go straight to solid for me (or I get my first flashy in the morning and it goes solid in the evening). I get no cramps at all until AF starts, then literally within minutes of coming on I'm bent in half asking my uterus why it's trying to kill me! The only way I know AF is coming because I become extremely weepy and unreasonable exactly 24 hours before - it's like clockwork. My BBs hurt a lot this month though, but might just be the starflower oil I started taking... I don't knoooooow!
