TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

@Sandstormbrewing that's really interesting. Did you have any symptoms?

I wasn’t paying a lot of attention but I remember feeling like my period was coming around 6 days early and then that pain disappeared as soon as I was actually due - I only tested on that day because I was wondering where on earth AF was.

I also remember my boobs hurting so much 7 days before that i convinced myself that I need to go an see a doctor for a check up!

GlamourBear I'm the same, i think I must have missed ovulation last month but really hopeful for this month. Keep me updated! Fingers crossed for you!

AlwaysInJods Hopefully the nausea is a good sign. I'm guessing if we were pregnant we would still be in the implantation stage though so maybe is too early for symptoms but I've definitely heard of women getting symptoms pretty early on. Plus you have a fairly short cycle so maybe things have progressed quicker...Fingers crossed!

I think I will wait AF but if I start getting symptoms and i don't come on by about 4th September i will test.

No symptoms. Was genuinely shocked. Only did the test because they ask when you go to donate.

Ladies, my first hop onto a post! First month TTC and I'm struggling how best to read OPK and when to DTD.

I was sure I OV'd at the weekend to BD'd Saturday. Got tests earlier this week and photo shows results.

Right was Tuesday, middle yesterday and left this morning

I thought yesterday's was positive so BD'd last night. But today's line is darker than control...

So.... does that mean I'm ovulating today? Should the line now get fainter again?

Argh, first month and I'm already obsessing over sticks

And no idea if I got any abbreviations right

Of course I will update you. Still having a few cramps and a bit of lower back pain this morning.

How often do you ladies BD around a positive OPK? Wondering to get on it tonight and tomorrow as well...

We try around 4/5 days before and including day after just in case!

AlwaysInJods why do you not think there is a real chance? Did you BD around ovulation?

My cycle is all over the place. Last month was 32 days but it varies from 28-34. I feel like i'm obsessing over it too much as well ...I am still getting CM and i'm probably about 5DPO. Been reading the forums and a lot of women that have had the same ended up being pregnant! Obviously it's not a pregnancy sign but i'm holding onto any bit of hope at the moment lol

AstroKate Good luck with your first month ttc. It looks like you are ovulating now so i would BD tonight. I think they say its best to do every other day but probably no harm to BD tomorrow too!

@ashers89 just the once, 24hrs after a +ive OPK. I know once is all it takes DH was away working all week so I jumped on him as soon as I got the chance.

Lots of lucky people on this thread: hoping I'll be one also but know 1st cycle of TTC is unlikely! Especially as I'm still struggling to understand it all! eeekk

@GlamourBear I'm going to try to hold off until missed AF (due next weds) but will likely test on Monday or Tuesday too 🙈

I was trying to hold off until I was due my period on Wednesday but tested today bfn thinking maybe Sunday.

I'm DPO #1 or 2 today so early days!!!! It's going to be a long 2 weeks. We started TTC#2 in January and conceived straight away but MMC end of April :-(. After a 2 cycle break we've been trying again so this is our 3rd cycle post MMC. Since the MMC becoming pregnant again occupies so much of my thoughts which can't be good but 🤞 September is BFP month!!!

AF/BFP due 5-7 Sep. (Ages away!!!)

AF is due around 6th for me but since I had some symptoms of spotting, cramping and back pain the past two days I'm desperate to test! DH thinks I'm getting my hopes up too much (I agree with him). If it isn't implantation I'm a bit worried about what it might be
