TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

Hey @LottieB87 that's okay :) post-ov I think. My chart is so whacky though that I couldn't tell you what my baseline is or anything. It's been +/- around 10 degrees the last few days so I have zero idea 😂 I generally struggle with sleeping anyway, but with TTC it's pushed my anxiety through the roof 😂😂 I'll add my Flo chart in below x

@Carastarchild - I really hope she stays away for you! Fingers crossed :) I’m comforting myself with the idea that a lot of people don’t get BFPs until after AF is due, if that’s any consolation at all?

I am feeling the best I have felt in a good couple of weeks, thank you 👍🏻 About to start ov testing with Clearblue Advanced Fertility Monitor tomorrow and am a bit excited about that, which is sad 🤓

I'm OK thank you. Got a much stronger line on the FRER yesterday and spotting has pretty much stopped now. I'm hoping all is OK.

@MrsRRC getting there but for some reason I feel more anxious than I remember feeling last time. Or maybe I've just forgotten! Don't get me wrong I'm very excited too

@GlamourBear All good here😁 Something was definitely not right the last couple of weeks, but physically I feel much better and I am looking forward to giving things my best shot this month.

Perhaps the anxiety is just because you know more this time - sometimes knowing what to expect doesn’t put you at ease at all! So pleased for you though 😁

No AF for me yet (normally my cycles are like clockwork) so I’m very confused!

Anyone have any tips of when to retest? AF due today but she hasn’t showed her ugly face yet 🤞🏻

Congratulations @GlamourBear all looks and sounds very promising... All signs point towards a baby being on the way! How exciting :) I hope you can get the full excitement back after the spotting worries. I remember myself being quite calm in first pregnancy however I think (at least for me- a mildly anxious person), that most things in life are much more calm and fun to look back on, after the worries aren't a concern any more!

I am 7-9 dpo now. Can't be exactly sure. Had some very painful stabbing pain in one particular place on my right side this evening. With first pregnancy i had the exact same thing but on the left side. Feeling optimistic about this but I know the human brain is an amazing thing that can play very cruel tricks!

@ChikiTIKI - thank you lovely. A pain in one side always sounds promising to me. But I know what to mean, it’s hard to tell sometimes, every body and every pregnancy can be so different! Fingers crossed for you :) x

Oh @Fae it’s never simple, is it? You think yep, I’ll have a baby. You do the deed and wait and never even really think it can be anything other that straightforward, you either are or you aren’t. But, oh no Mother Nature has other ideas 🙄

Thank you @Chiki yes I had definitely forgotten all the worrying from my first pregnancy. Sounds very positive too for you. Have you decided when you'll test yet?

I was supposed to have ovulated yesterday and should have seen a sharp bbt increase today, but this is only my second month temping, so not 100% sure if a slow increase is normal. I had really broken sleep last night, so don't know if that had any affect, or if I've ovulated later than the OPK suggests. @LottieB87 you temp, don't you? Do you know how many days after O the rise should be?! This is stressing me out more than it should..
