TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

Fae I am 11 dpo today, and I hopefully will be testing tomorrow morning when I return home, once AF stays away. How is the UTI you suspected you had? I literally spent so much time peeing yesterday that I could have taken up residence in the bathroom. No pain though, so I will have to keep an eye on it.

Jockey what colour is the bleeding? Are you sure it's AF.

Fae if I remember correctly you got a positive OPK after I ovulated, meaning you aren't as many dpo as your app predicted. Sorry you got a BFN but if you aren't as many dpo as you think, it could very well be a false negative.

@ChikiTIKI we DTD 22nd/23rd/24th/27th/28th and O'd 28th (yesterday) DP is sleeping next to me.. perhaps I should wake him up..

@fae1989 I have all my fingers crossed for you. We've had two BFP recently, it's time for a 3rd x

I only read to page 28!! I'm not doing very well here.. @fae1989 some people don't get a postive until after AF.. definately could be a false negative

@Carastarchild - thanks lovely. I know AF will be here like clockwork on Monday as my cycles rarely change so I am entirely confused! Surely if AF arrives on Monday and I ovulated later then my luteal phase is way too short? UTI is better thanks, got some antibiotics to shift it! Definitely keep an eye on yours, it seems they don't like to go away on their own sometimes!

I'm starting to dread taking tests now :/ might just stop altogether and then wait for AF to come (or hopefully not come haha!) it sure does get you down.

Hopefully we will get some more BFPs this weekend :)

@carastarchild apparantly your follicular stage can vary but once you O'd your lutuel stage stays the same, so perhaps your AF will come a little later..

Morning girls,

Thank you everyone for being so lovely and supportive. It’s great to have people to talk to who are going through the same thing.

I feel much better this morning, AF has started to tail off and so has the back ache leg pain, cramps etc (I honest don’t know how people cope with painful periods!!!).

I think that most of the issues I was having are probably to do with the pressure I am putting on myself 🙄 but if it happens again next month I am going to make an appointment with my GP.

I have decided to try and be proactive, at my age getting pregnant is likely to be a bit more difficult so I have treated myself to the CBAFM which will hopefully take some of the guess work out of it and give me a better understanding of how I work.

Massive congratulations to those that have got a BFP and I’ve got everything crossed for those still to test - exciting times. Xx

Glamour I have had a lovely relaxing Holiday. Just what I needed. Next time I would definitely book for two weeks, as a week whizzed by quickly. I swore I would chill out and not knicker watch, but I was okay until yesterday. Then I started to think more about it. Has your spotting stopped? That's what I worry about every month...you have given me hope 💜

Curly I tend to spot around 10/11 dpo onwards....most annoying thing ever. Then I get AF. Fx I won't this month 🙏

MrsR did you buy the clear blue advanced fertility monitor? That's what i bought a few weeks ago. I will send on cycle picture when I get home 😊

Fae as Curly already said re the follicular phase can change, so I would trust the Lh surge you got after thought you had ovulated. Count how many days since the day after that. That's probably how many dpo's you are.

I am still peeing a lot today, but less than yesterday.

London I am feeling much better and I am relaxing before we leave for the airport.

Just went to the loo and I have some spotting 😣😫😫 Fml ....fx it will stop again 🙏 I am not holding my breath though 😔

@carastarchild it is common to spot around the time your AF is due and some women don't test positive until a few days after AF.. FX for you xxx and safe trip home x

What is everyone's thoughts on drinking alcohol during the TWW? My DP has handed me a glass of bubbles while we get ready to go out, it made me wonder what you ladies do in this situation xx

Thanks Curly I am always the voice of reason for others, but when it comes to myself emotions get involved in the situation. I am sitting in the airport waiting for our gate to be called.

I drank some wine whilst on holidays. I normally don't drink. Everything in moderation I guess. There is a difference in having a sociable drink and being drunk.
