TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

@MrsRRC you said this is your first month ttc. We're you on BC before? When on BC I didn't suffer from any heavy periods of cramps. I've also found that AF started a day or 2 early in the months I've been particularly stressed at work. Sorry, probably not a very helpful comment, but do give your gp a call. You know your body better than anyone else. Hope you get answers x

@glamourbear congratulations and good luck. I've heard that spotting when you get your BFP can be quite common. Let us know how you get on xx

Hi @LondonKez I was in combined pill for years with no issues, but was changed to the minipill a couple of years ago and had nothing but trouble so stopped taking bc completely in February this year and have had really predictable cycles with very few symptoms since then, which is why I am a bit concerned. Thank you for your response it’s definitely food for thought.

@MrsRRC I completely understand why you'd be worried if it's completely out of the ordinary for you. Are you still having pains in your legs? Sorry, I didn't spot that symptom before. Maybe test again in the morning? Sorry I'm not being very helpful! X

Finally it posted!! That's been frustrating, reading your posts and not being able to reply.
I also have a question...
On Wednesday I got a smiley face on a CB OPK, it stays like that for 2 days. Also on my Natural Cycles app I added the LH surge on Wednesday, it automatically added it in yesterday and it says I have ovulated today. Is the LH surge always 2 days then ovulation? How long does ovulation last? And does that mean after today I'm no longer fertile?

Cupcakes, I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well but still no bfp. Fingers crossed you have an answer soon.

I'm in full throttle for AF. Shortest cycle I've had so far at only 22 days. In the past 5 months I've had 27 days, 2x 28 days, 2x 29 days, and periods last 1-2 days. Bit more crampy than usual too. Very strange.

Thank you for all the lovely messages and kind words of advice. I got an FRER after work, I've attached a picture. Its a much stronger positive than what I'm getting on the ic which is strange as I got a really strong positive with DC1 on an ic. Spotting is less today than yesterday so I'm hoping it's going to stop imminently!

TTC really is such a stressful and emotionally draining process. I hope all those who aren't feeling great feel much better soon. Sending lots of hugs your way.

@Glamourbear - totally chickening out! Congratulations again on you BFP! How many dpo were you when you tested lovely?

@Fae1989 I was around 10dpo yesterday. Thursday was a massive BFN then yesterday a faint but definite positive. I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated but I think 18th. AF was due around 3rd according to app. How many dpo are you?

@GlamourBear -yeah pretty similar to you, 12dpo today and AF due Monday!

I'm up just to take my temp 😭 Since Tuesday I've had a mixture of either broken sleep or roughly 2/3 hours of sleep all night. I knew my temps wouldn't count and I've logged them in FF as discarded but I've looked and tues-fri all 36.11 degrees and today was 36.10 - I can't help but think that this maybe shouldn't be discarded? Or am I overthinking it? X

@cupcakesandglitter I've never done temping so I can't be of much help. Sorry. I didn't want to read and not comment though!

@Curlywurly I would say you are! You can still get pregnant a day or so after ovulating though. I am a few days past that so definitely no more chance of getting pregnant this month. Think I ovulated on Tuesday/Wednesday. Or maybe monday/Tuesday I can't remember now!

@cupcakesandglitter - hope you’re ok? I don’t know much about temping but hopefully someone will be along soon who can offer some advice?
