TWW begins...stop me POAS every day!

Anybody else? I'm on CD16, pretty sure I ovulated over the past day or two, now for the long frustrating wait to POAS! Why is it so hard to resist for 14 measly days?!

We are TTC #2 and this is our first cycle of trying.

TTC number 2, this is first cycle and I'm already obsessing. It's so hard not to!

I'm on CD20 and AF is due 2nd Oct. I've got a stash of clear blue digital tests and it's taking everything not to start using them!

What symptoms have people had during the 2WW that have led to a BFP?

I've had an absolute stinking cold and I've read that can be a symptom. Maybe just being a bit hopeful!

Welcome @MummytoA20 I'm also TTC #2 I'm due around 1-3 Oct. Its so hard isn't it! I've also read that a cold can be an early symptom so fingers crossed for you!

Hey @GlamourBear I'm on CD33 now with no sign of AF, temps haven't dropped I don't think, and BFN on FRER yesterday 😩😩

Welcome @MummytoA20 😊 I'm only cycle 2 and I'm trying not to obsess but every little thing turns into a symptom 😭 I know someone who knew she was pregnant because she had a really bad cold but no one else around her was ill. She tested and BFP! X

Hi @cupcakesandglitter With my first I didn't get a positive until 3 days after my period was due. I was like a woman possessed because my cycles were so regular but kept getting negatives even with FRER.

It's not over until AF comes along. Keeping everything crossed for you lovely xx

@cupcakesandglitter that's so frustrating! I really hope you get your bfp! Are your cycles usually quite regular? With my first my cycles were very irregular so I never really knew when AF was due!

You've done much better than me, I would have taken the tests away with me!

@GlamourBear stay positive, honestly from what I've heard I think every symptom of 'early pregnancy' and PMS is literally the same! I believe there's no real concrete way of knowing til the BFP. Which you'll be seeing in a few days

@cupcakesandglitter that sounds really positive about your temps! Mega frustrating though. Keep us updated if you test today!

I am trying to hold out but it's getting harder! 11dpo today. I stopped taking temps because after O they just stay the same until 12dpo, which for me is when they plummet for AF. So now I'm battling whether I should temp tomorrow morning or not. It'll be a giveaway. Last week I felt like I didn't want to know and didn't want the disappointment. But yesterday I was feeling so anxious and upset because I'm convinced this isn't our month I just started crying - I'm not sure what to do now. I feel like I'm keeping myself in limbo longer. Maybe if I know I can just move on?? But I know that I hold on to hope as well.. aarrrggh!! Help!

@GlamourBear they've been regular since March (before were irregular as I had the implant out) at around 30 days (give or take a couple) 😩 also I don't want to waste the test because they're so bloody expensive 😂 I'm not convinced I'm pregnant tbh x

@LottieB87 I will do 😊 but I know what you mean about not wanting to be disappointed. I'd temp though - the sooner you know AF is coming, the sooner you can get ready for the next cycle xx

@LottieB87 - bless you! It’s so hard isn’t it. Like others have said at least if you temp you know but it’s whether or not you can wait. Personally I would rather know but I know how it can be. It’s still rubbish when she comes (AF). When is AF due for you? Sending you a hug :)

My FRERs are due to be delivered on Saturday. Meaning I cannot test on Friday!!

AF due Thursday. Usually I spot for 3 days before, this time nothing.

I tested 11 and 12 dpo and got bfn. I am scared to test again.

I had some spotting and cramping 9dpo for 3 days and have a very regular 30 day cycle. Could this be implantation?

At the moment I’m fairly symptom free generally apart from frequent urination and comedy sized boobs - I have one bra that two weeks ago had quite a bit of space in the cups and now I am bursting out of it. 😬

Also I am still thinking of you all and I hope we get some more BFP's in the coming days.

I am 7dpo and really trying to let the tww go ...to just simply relax 😎

@MrsRRC Welcome! It sounds promising! Some people don't get BFP until a few days after AF was due!

I text DH because I was CONVINCED AF started and I felt it. Accepted I'd come on, got really sad, went to check and nothing but a creamy blob. Fab.

I'm driving myself crazy here and still another week until AF is due.

Mummy I am on holidays abroad at the moment, so it's totally easy for me to say that. I bet if I was at home I might not be as calm 😊

I have a tmi update...
My app says I will ovulate today although it goes by Average cycle lengths. My last 2 cycles were shorter so I assumed I would ovulate on the weekend just gone. However today I've had a little bit of pain on left side and (tmi) my cm has got more to ewcm the last few days but today it's got a pinkish tinge to it. I'm on CD20 and my app thinks my cycles are about 34 days long but my last one was 32 days and one before 29 days. Before my baby they were about 35 days.

So... What do you think? Ovulation spotting maybe? Luckily dtd last night and then also 48 hrs before that (not exactly, obviously!) will dtd again this evening and then I suppose there's probably not much point after that! Ttc takes away some of the romance doesn't it :)

I was off work in my fertile week (well most of it) and just tried to focus on calmness... I think stress hormones are not good for conception.

Welcome to the newbies and congratulations @fluffygodzilla!! Well overdue BFP 🎉🎉🎉

I have a feeling we'll be seeing more BFPs soon, I have my fingers crossed for you all!

My thermometer is broken (Only used it for one cycle so far!) And I'm battling with whether to buy another or just use OPKs this month to eliminate some of the stress. I want to be more relaxed than I currently am, but I'm now on cycle 10 and freaking out slightly!

Hiya @LondonKez ! Oh no how annoying! This will be my last cycle temping I think. 4 cycles of temping and I don't feel like I need/want to anymore. I didn't realise you're on cycle 10 of TTC, I really hope your BFP comes soon. Remind me where you are in your cycle now?

Saying that about temping... so I've resolved to temp for the last time tomorrow AND test tomorrow morning. With a FRER. It'll be 12dpo.

If I do neither I'll just continue to be anxious. I've got an hour left of work and am starting to feel upset again like yesterday. I'm done with you, TWW!

If I just temp I'll be searching the internet all day for 'temp drop but BFP' and be looking at endless fertility friend charts that have that pattern (there are a small number.. yup that was last month's 12dpo fun).

If I temp and THEN do a test, seeing the drop will cushion the blow of the BFN? It'll be a just-make-sure test.

Wish me luck.. though as you ladies know for some reason I've been down about this cycle since day O...
