TTC baby number 3 at nearly 40

Hi all, I have just turned 39, and have 2 daughters from my previous marriage, aged 6 and 9. I am in a very happy long term relationship with my partner who is 32. We have just started TTC'ing for a baby. My third, his first. Anyone else in a similar situation?
I believe I should be ovulating today or tomorrow (On CD17 of a 32/33 day cycle) but no positive OPK yet. Worried my eggs have dried up!

Welcome @seastargirl 😀 I'm sure the month we dtd for my youngest I had hardly any ewcm and my opks were never dark...

No, still time. The pack of frer had a free stick in so three for the price of two. Will see how my temp chart goes over the next few days before I test again!

Temp still not shifted so thinking the clear blue was definitely a false alarm and not worth the money! Will keep poas just in case I get an obvious positive!

Agh! Ladies, just had the start of ewcm. FF app has gone green but it’s another 3 days till DP is home 😩😩😩

There’s still a chance, right?! OPK is still negative, maybe my egg can wait till Friday... Fingers crossed please!

Still getting the tiniest amount of spotting in cm, do you think that’s normal? I’ve put it down to dodgy post-pill hormones?

@LatteLover12 , don't worry, EWCM can be seen 2-3 days before egg release, right? And even if egg releases Thursday, if you BD Friday and Saturday you still stand a really good chance. I'm rooting for you!
He's been signed off for a week and told he needs to rest it completely! I'm shattered

11 dpo and had every sign under the sun. I'm sure I'm looking for signs too! At the weekend I was exhausted and had issues with my gallbladder, that's calmed down but feel sick after I eat or wee. A bfn this am. In ones I'm bored being crazy, I either want a bfp or af to turn up now! Day 22 so any day now

I had a positive opk this afternoon so I’m hedging my bets that I’ll ov at some point tomorrow (hopefully pm!) & egg might possibly, hopefully still be there Friday night??

He’s away all the time. It’s totally shit & I miss him all the time. I have very little (no) support with the boys.

@makeawhish thank you but I'm out! How's you!? Just trying to work out if I can take multi vitamins with vitamin b in etc but only 200ug of folic acid....where as my folic acid by it's self has 400ug levels.

I take a seven seas supplement, it's called 'Trying for a baby' and it has vitamins as well as 400ug of folic acid - what I like about it is it comes in a little blister pack like a contraceptive pill, and is small enough to swallow without water - I keep it in my makeup bag and never forget to take it. It's about £5 for a months supply.
