Mid August 2ww - anyone else out there?

Hi all! I'm in my first ever 2ww and was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? Think I'm approx 1 dpo judging by previous cycle patterns, Ov pain and CM as I don't use OPKs or do BBT (too lazy!). Loosely followed SMEP this month, fx this is the month!

Age: 27
TTC: #2 (DS1 was a happy surprise)
Cycle No: 1
Cycle Length: 26-28 days
AF/BFP due: 29th August but I'll be testing on the 28th which will be CD 28

Looking forward to waiting with you all! And trying not to POAS at 5dpo !

@curlies not sick yet just feel as if I have udders! It's annoying as FP is due in just over a week so could be that although it doesn't usually start this early!

@GreatestShowWoman same! I wish I could hold off until a weeks time but I think I will crack tomorrow then this weekend then next week 😂😂

unfortunately as soon as I wake up and know I need to pee I can't go back to sleep unless I do! I'll probably just go as usual and then when I wake up, hold that pee for another hour or two before testing

@cupcakesandglitter 😂 I'm testing on Friday when I'll be approx 10dpo, it may be negative but I'll keep testing every other day after that too until after AF due date, so this Friday, Sunday, Tuesday then finally next Friday! Can you tell I've got it all planned out 😂

@cupcakesandglitter my guilty pleasure is actually FRER tests! After being on MN for a while now and seeing how soon you can test with them (while also lurking on line eyes posts) I think I may be a little bit obsessed with them 🤣 I've already ordered more!

@rollerskaterdata put the pee stick down! It takes at least 2 days for hcg levels to rise to detectable levels so even if you implanted yesterday it still won't show up!! X

If you're desperate to pee on something just pee straight on the fiver! Using a frer at 7dpo is practically the same thing! 😉

How early can they work?

Very bad just ordered these!!

I did a test today and BFN :(
AF isn't even dye until Monday, though I think I ovulated early.
I'm using those one step 10mIU tests and I've heard good and bad things. I got a faint positive 3 days after my missed period last time. So I still think it might be too early.
I'm hoping I didn't ovulate later than I expected as I've had no sex drive and I didn't think it mattered as we DTD during the fertile window. 😫

@GreatestShowWoman I also ordered more FRERs last night, coming today which is just ridiculous temptation as earliest I'll be testing is Friday! (Unless I can hold out for longer 😳) it makes me feel better seeing them sitting in my bathroom cabinet though 😂

@MsHopey fx it's just too early and you'll get your BFP in a few days! 🤞
