Ok, so BFN this morning using generic, unbranded POAS sticks off Amazon, but then here's what I got just now with a First Response test

This is definitely a BFP, right?!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much because of how excited I was before my MC...but I can't help hoping that there's a bean in there. (And that it's sticky!)

@kiltedsheep no mistaking that line! That is a positive! Yay!

Blondcat · 21/08/2018 13:31

@kiltedsheep looks like a bfp to me congratulations fx for a sticky bean and a happy healthy pregnancy x

Funkyemzie · 21/08/2018 13:32

@kiltedsheep I think that is a definate bfp there lovely, congratulations!

@strawberrye this is honestly the first mid month bleed I have ever experienced so wasn't sure what it was at all. 5dpo yesterday so thought it must be too early for implantation. I've not got much in the way of symptoms or anything but I have got a achey muscle feeling in my uterus area which I had with other 2 MC's when I found out so fingers crossed.

strawberrye · 21/08/2018 14:10

@kiltedsheep there's no mistaking that BFP, congratulations!

@Funkyemzie Fingers crossed it is an implantation bleed! Are you planning to test on a particular day or just wait for AF?

@kiltedsheep congrats! That's a great line - how many dpo are you?

Newbie21 · 21/08/2018 15:05

@kiltedsheep congratulation. Definitely a BFP! Xx

Funkyemzie · 21/08/2018 15:31

@strawberry not sure, maybe Sunday, I'll be 11dpo then. I'm a bigger for testing early and driving myself mad for a few days, I just can't help it!

Funkyemzie · 21/08/2018 15:31

Bugger*

Russkispy · 21/08/2018 16:08

@kiltedsheep big congratulations! Hope it sticks! And here's to healthy pregnancy! @Funkyemzie , try to stay away from testing too early! Stay strong!

kiltedsheep · 21/08/2018 17:10

Thanks so much, everyone Flowers❤️

I've got my fingers and toes crossed for all of you. Here's to many more sticky beans!

kiltedsheep · 21/08/2018 17:12

@TedLife apparently I'm 12 dpo. Not sure if that's normal or not?

rdm10 · 21/08/2018 17:59

@doddlebobs hope you had a lovely birthday, almost birthday twin!

@kiltedsheep that’s a definite line. Congratulations and everything crossed for a sticky bean.

@redrobin7 try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know) If you do get a BFP this month, then maybe it was just meant to be!

mostimproved · 21/08/2018 18:00

@kiltedsheep there is no mistaking that BFP, congrats!

@Delilah7 I think I recognise your username from a TTC bus, sorry to hear what happened but fx for this cycle.

I'm now 15 days post mc and had a negative pregnancy test yesterday but still getting a faint ish line on OPKs, so I'm not sure if that's still picking up leftover pregnancy hormones. Either way we are aiming to just DTD every other day for the next few weeks, let's see if that happens! I normally ovulate on CD14 or 15 but I'm aware it can be a bit later post mc - just hope we haven't missed the boat!

Delilah7 · 21/08/2018 18:03

@mostimproved hi Hun! I'm in the same boat. I had a negative 10 day's after my bleeding started and 4 day's after I stopped. I normally ovulate 13.th or 14th so I've DTD around those dates. I did get EWCM and ovulation pain as normal! Xx

Lilimum4 · 21/08/2018 19:38

Hi can I join please? Ttc our first and most recent loss was a mmc at 9 weeks. Had surgical management almost 3 weeks ago and all I can think about at the minute is how much I just want to be pregnant again. Trying not to drive myself crazy so not going to use any opk or temping for a couple of cycles until my head is in a better place.

Littleray84 · 21/08/2018 21:07

Hi @clumsyfool we are in a similar position .... i had a mmc and surgical management 3 weeks ago too.

Welcome Smile

I'm with you on the not temping and opks at the minute. Im trying to do the more relaxed approach until my heads together too. Although it hasn't stopped me from symptom spotting ovulation Blush

ClumsyFool · 21/08/2018 21:11

@Littleray84 I’m sorry to hear that, it’s just shit no other word for it. I’ve been trying to tell myself that I wont ovulate until after I’ve had a period, probably utter bollocks but it’s the only way to stop myself from overthinking every twinge.

Funkyemzie · 21/08/2018 21:23

@lilimum4 I'm 6dpo today too!

Littleray84 · 21/08/2018 21:26

@clumsyfool I tried that it hasn't worked 🙈 I'm an overthinker. Excuse me if I'm being nosey but was this your first loss? I had a miscarriage in March this year also at 5 weeks. I'm also overthinking that too and about what I could try differently this time. I'm taking pre natal vitamins but was wondering about taking a baby aspirin also, not sure if this would help or hinder though. My rationale is that I'm now almost 35 and had 2 successful pregnancies 16 years ago and almost 11 years ago. I know baby aspirin is sometimes recommended for mums over 35 in pregnancy but not sure about conception. Is anybody else taking a baby aspirin off their own back? Is it risky do u think?

Lilimum4 · 21/08/2018 21:43

@Funkyemzie yay cycle twin

ClumsyFool · 21/08/2018 21:46

@Littleray84 I’m 34 also (very soon to be 35) and no of course I don’t mind you asking, no this wasn’t my first loss but it is the furthest I’ve got. I had my first miscarriage 15 years ago when I was 19, completely unplanned and unexpected and I’ll be honest I can’t remember exactly how far along I was as I wasn’t in the best place mentally but it was probably about 5 weeks.

I’ve also had 2 chemicals this year, one that I doubted myself over as the line was so faint but it was there then the bleeding started very soon after. So I seem to conceive without issue but can’t hold on to a pregnancy Sad.

I too wondered about the aspirin as I had a blood clot a couple of years ago and had none of the risk factors, just put it down to a bizarre happening but now it’s making me wonder. Dr has referred me on and I got an appointment through today for October so that’s something at least. Would also be interested to hear about people’s thoughts on taking aspirin.

Lilimum4 · 21/08/2018 22:00

@ClumsyFool hello

What does the aspirin do for you exactly
