Another new thread! This is a lovely supportive thread for anyone who has suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately known as the penguin huddle- this is the place to survive the ups and downs of this crazy journey.

Omg I just took a pregnancy test a boots own 5 day early one. My af is due approx Friday. I got a faint positive line! I thin I'm pregnant. At work freaking out a bit. Do I get excited!? Argh!

Ok you can't see the line very well in that pic but honestly its there! This might be a better pic. Also me and my husband noticed my boobs are slightly bigger and are sore. This was my clue last time.

Thank you @Laney79 and @lilimum4 I'm in shock! Wanna go home and tell my husband. 5 can't come soon enough! He goes away tomorrow for a week to Houston. Glad I found out before he left. I just had this sudden urge and drove to boots on my lunch and bought the tests. Might but a clear blue digital after work. Please let this be ok this time!!!

Thank you @mistymeow and @hellotoyellow I am sort of in disbelief. I've been so down since the mmc kept thinking will it ever happen. I just really hope this time it is ok. Got to think positive and stay calm. How are you all anyway? And @Laney79 and @lilimum4 how are you?

I'm trying to be super positive about this cycle - first one back trying and even though I'm now down a tube I've got pregnant both cycles I've tried this year so fx it'll work again. On CD4, on vitamins and got my clearblue OPKs restocked. And facebook off for the entire month so I don't feel sad.

@Pancakes7 I'm ok-I'm 7+5 today. Had a couple of freak outs over some light brown CM over the past two weeks but trying to be positive. Got a scan a week tomorrow and hoping all is ok. I'm tired and boobs are big, but other than that no real symptoms. No nausea really, peeing a little more often but not that noticeably...so scared it'll be another MMC. Just hoping it won't be that and next week will show a healthy little one.

@Laney79 Good luck for your scan. Think positive. I really hope its good news for you. I'm trying to keep calm but we are very excited. I told my husband when I got home and his eyes lit up. @hellotoyellow I really hope you get your BFP. Thank you @Russkispy

@hellotoyellow wishing you all the best this cycle. How long is your cycle usually?

I'm CD5 today (as I think I couldn't from the day of first bleed when I had my CP) so similar timeline to you @hellotoyellow possibly? I'll start my OPKs on CD8 although I shouldn't really ovulate until about CD 14 but just in case it's a bit random following the CP best to cover all basis. I'm about 28 day cycle usually.

Also seen some of you are struggling with AFs and due dates coming up, wish I could make it all better and we could all be pregnant. Sending you all lots of hugs!

I'm 10dpo and expecting AF between Thursday and Sunday .......no idea what my cycle length is now because this is first proper cycle since mc 8 weeks ago. Resisting temptation to test, I have 2 FRERs and a CB test upstairs. Reason I'm not is I'm so used to disappointment.

Had another cry at work today, just struggling too. Next counselling session is next week.

@doddlebobs I don't think you've ovulated yet hun. Your opk whilst having a dark line wasn't positive yet and the fact that it lightened again probably means your body had a surge but didn't complete. Also your temps are overall very low. Generally post ov temps are at least over 36.3ish. I'd keep testing, I had a similar thing happen to me a few months back and ended up getting a glaring positive 4 days later. Also once you get your positive opk you should ovulate the next day, not the same one.
@KnitKitty I'm switching between feeling calm and feeling stressed! 9dpo today, af due either Sat or Sun. Hope you manage some ninja JKS next cycle!
@Mistymeow thanks hun 😁 Its from a story DH made up for my DS. 🐘❤ So glad to hear you ovulated! Same thing happened to me when I had my day 21 tests- I had them on day 29! Crazy long cycles are frustrating!
@strawberrye glad you had a lovely time away with DH. It looks to me like ovulation might have been yesterday but will need to see what your temps do for the next 2 days. Also keep JKS and OPKing until its confirmed. Fx!! And I don't think you look like an alcoholic!

I'm trying to work out if DH and I DTD enough during peak period from flashing and static smiley. Not sure we did. I'm overthinking things now. Doesn't help that I've been really tearful since Thursday, keep thinking about our little lost bean. I thought I'd been making progress then suddenly been feeling super emotional again. Mc's are a serious head f*.

Is there any need to do temping if using CB OPKs?

Not wanting to put life on hold I booked another mini break to Italy for March. Our little bean should have been 6 weeks old by then and I should have been well into my maternity leave. Decided to just book the trip. Even if I do manage tobget pregnant again I think I can still travel as it's 6 months from now plus it's only a short haul flight.

@Lilimum4 Wow that's going to be an emotional day. We'll all be here for hand holding. xxx

@Mistymeow Misty is a lovely name for a cat. We have a little black cat called Mina. Cats are the best.

@strawberrye I think we all need a bit of a break from the thread occasionally, and the first half of your cycle is usually the best time to duck out for a few days. Nice to see you though!
Really glad you had a lovely weekend. I think enjoying life is definitely a good thing to concentrate on (a few tipples doesn't harm). Fingers crossed for you this cycle.

@Newbie21 best of luck with this cycle. I'm CD3, but I think my cycle is probably going to be a long one again going by my last two. Don't expect to ovulate until around the 29th. Sods law, OH's parents are visiting that week. So I'm not expecting a miracle this month.

@YellowDaffodils86 I shall keep my fingers crossed for you. Are you planning to test or are you waiting until you're late? Did you OPK/temp or anything this cycle? Does it look like you've gone back to your usual cycle length again now?

InDreamland I have my fingers crossed for you for the end of the week. Do avoid testing too soon as I think it just messes with your emotions (although waiting to test does too... gargh! There's no winning, is there!?) I hope for you that you're one of those people who are extra fertile following MC. It would be lovely to see you get a BFP. I cried so many times at work for 2 or 3 months after my MC. Just ride the waves of emotion and better days will come. xxx

The TWW really drags doesn't it? Goes without saying that I not only have my fingers crossed, but all my toes/hair/eyes/legs/arms too. I'm really looking forward to the day you get your BFP. But as you said, some people's journeys are longer, so don't worry if it's not this month, you'll get there, I am 100% sure of it.
