Morning ladies, hope you're all doing ok.

CD33 now. I'm still feeling under the weather. I also have a painful shoulder from sitting funny for too long yesterday and have come out with some lovely facial spots. Brilliant. This usually happens a couple of days before AF, so I might be looking at another 35 dayer this cycle.

On the plus side, it looks like I might be able to get some time back at work today. I'm owed 4.5 hours, so not sure I'll get all of it in one go, but it would be nice to come home early; even if it's only an hour.

Sending positive vibes and hugs to all of you, whether you're dealing with a new pregnancy, which we all know is hard after loss, or if you're in FW or TWW or AF has arrived. You're all super strong women and an inspiration. xxx

Hi ladies can I jump on

It’s been a while since I posted on one of these forums, I was taking the more relaxed approach of just letting things happen! I’m now getting impatient!

I’m 28, have a ds who is 11 months old (we want our dc close together), he was a surprise conception, so a pretty fast conception by all means. I had a chemicle pregnancy in February, and we were excited before the loss so decided to start trying from then. My periods became really irregular after that which hasnt been ideal! We are now on cycle number 8!!! This month is the first since Feb af had arrived on time so fingers crossed this month is the month!

I feel like if it’s not I may need to look into ovulation kits again, and possibly some sort of tablet or something to help things along. Anyone have any suggestions? I just want so badly to be pregnant! Xx

Congratulations @Zarala so lovely you have you're BFP. I hope all goes well. I totally understand wanting to keep positive and avoid negative thoughts.

I'm very up and down at the moment. Finding it difficult with people expecting babies. I feel I will never be happy till we get our baby. I can't think about anything else. Only work is an escape if I'm busy. But as soon as I'm not. It's back on my mind. I'm now over 3 months since mmc. I think I thought I'd be pregnant by now. I've only had 2 af's though so I guess only 1 proper cycle so far. But first time round I got pregnant in 6 weeks. So I just want to be that lucky again and keep it this time.
I'm on the 2ww with af due next Friday 14th. Ofcourse I'm symptom spotting as usual which is silly!!

hellotoyellow · 05/09/2018 14:38

Hello all, it's been a while and sorry to see so many people still here. Flowers

@Mumma100, I've got pregnant both times I've used the Clearblue ovulation kit with two hormones (Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test Kit) so would recommend that - was trying for a year before - although lost both (9/40 MMC and ectopic).

Got a new set of these delivered this morning in anticipation of AF coming really soon and being able to try again after my operation in July. I really feel the couple of months off have helped my psyche - back to yoga and looking forward to a holiday over FW. Plus you don't realise how rubbish the illness of early pregnancy and mc are until you're no longer in it. Hope everyone else is finding things to keep them positive!

Mumma100 · 05/09/2018 14:42

@hellowtoyellow thanks, I did use them initially and then went a bit mental and spent a fortune on pregnant test so took a few months off but was mindful of when my app said I was ovulating so we had still been dtbd at the right time. I’m at the point now where I want to be pregnant now so think will give them a go. I might have a look for supplements as well, I’vr Heard some can’t be good, not sure which ones though.

Sorry to hear about your losses, I know how hard it is xx

Taylorsej17 · 05/09/2018 14:46

Hello everyone, I'm not sure I've jumped in at the right place, but I'm ttc after a chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks almost 7 weeks ago.
I've had previous miscarriages, a blighted ovum at 8 weeks in 2008 with D&C
Miscarriage at 14 weeks in 2010
Chemical pregnancy around 4 weeks also 2010
After my last Miscarriages I got pregnant almost straight away (no Af at all inbetween 2010 miscarriage and following pregnancy and only 1 Af after D&C before pregnancy)
So I've done 6 tests now thinking and feeling that I'm pregnant but all have been negative, am I testing too early?
I have symptoms I always associate with being pregnant (metallic taste in mouth, extreme nausea, exhausted constantly and fluctuating appetite) but I'm not sure whether I'm wanting it too much so pinning too much on symptoms? Does that make sense?
My LG is 11 months old on the 9th and I'm wondering if this is all a bit too soon after having her for my body and now it's all over the place hormone wise so no idea whether I'm pg or expecting af? How long does it usually take for Af after a chemical pregnancy?

robin78 · 05/09/2018 17:13

Hi @Taylorsej17 welcome and sorry for your losses. It is always the right time to jump in!
I haven't had a chemical pregnancy before so can't advise specifically on that but from my own mcs and spending time on here everybody and every time is different. Some people's bodies seem to pick up where they left off for others, me including, it has taken a lot longer for af to arrive. I think if you don't know when you ovulated, or if you ovulated yet, it will just have to be a case of what and see -which I know is really difficult and makes for a very weird time. You can only know if you are testing early if you know when you ovulated and it doesn't sound like you do. Hang on in there!

Taylorsej17 · 05/09/2018 17:28

I've been attempting to track ovulation based on cf, if I'm right I think ovulation was around 19-23rd August. I'm not sure if I've quite got the hang of it yet tho,I've been using an app but I'm not sure it's working for me very well.
Patience has never been my strong point Hmm I suppose I'll just have to try hang in there like you say and see what comes (or doesn't as hopefully the case may be)

DartmoorDoughnut · 05/09/2018 17:35

@Boboelephant I’ve been testing late afternoon and it’s still a flashing smiley today but hopefully it will go static soon! CD20 today.

Hi @Taylorsej17 fingers crossed for you

Taylorsej17 · 05/09/2018 17:36

After my first Chemical pregnancy I seemed to get pregnant straight away, but I feel like this time it's taking longer. Or it could just be that I can't quite remember or figure out the timings looking back? Because my pregnancy losses haven't all been in a row the Dr's don't feel there's anything to be concerned about physically which is obviously great news but it just feels like this is taking longer than normal? I don't know maybe it's just me and the heightened emotions/hormones from it all.

Taylorsej17 · 05/09/2018 17:38

@Dartmoordoughnut thank you, I'm keeping everything crossed I do get a positive test but feel like I'm just driving myself (and poor dh) mad with testing constantly.

Newbie21 · 05/09/2018 21:04

So I tested just now. I'm cd27/DPO14. I only have CBs which I know are notorious for Evaps but it's definitely blue. Should it be darker? Will test with a CB digital which tells you how pregnant tomorrow maybe -they are the only tests I have left.

Littleray84 · 05/09/2018 21:14

@newbie21 I'd say that's a definite positive 😊 congratulations xxxxxx

Newbie21 · 05/09/2018 21:24

Thanks @Littleray84 I'm so nervous. I hope it sticks.

Littleray84 · 05/09/2018 21:57

@newbie21 well fingers and toes crossed for you. It's a such shame that after what we've experienced normal pregnancy anxieties will be amplified 100 x over.

Just try to relax and take every day as it comes ..... sending extra sticky bean vibes 😊Flowers xxx

keebo · 05/09/2018 21:59

@Newbie21 amazing news! Keeping everything crossed for you.

Newbie21 · 05/09/2018 22:16

@Littleray84 you are so right. I just told DH... and he is happy but terrified too. I said "it's not the same is it? After the MC" and he agreed and said he won't relax until after the 12 week scan. It is very different now but will try to stay positive and pray for a sticky and healthy bean.

Newbie21 · 06/09/2018 06:44

CB weeks indicator test is saying 1-2 weeks. I'm a little concerned that it is not higher. When I tested with my first pregnancy for DS it came up as 2-3 a day after due date but when I tested with 2nd unsuccessful pregnancy it was 1-2weeks and then this is 1-2weeks again. Might mean nothing I'm possibly just paranoid. Will test again in a few days or next week to see if it goes up. Anyway, I shall think positively - I managed to catch and for that I should be grateful as there is every chance it will go on to be a successful pregnancy. I hope you don't mind if I hang around for a bit. X

strawberrye · 06/09/2018 06:53

@Newbie21 try not to worry too much, each pregnancy is different. According to the clearblue sensitivity at 1-2 weeks your HCG is anywhere between 10 and 152 so that would be about right if your AF is due around now. Congratulations by the way!

Newbie21 · 06/09/2018 06:58

Thanks @strawberrye I'm going to chill out a bit.

How are people doing? Others coming up for test time? Hope all is well, baby dust to all.

Taylorsej17 · 06/09/2018 07:17

Another negative this morning. Think I need to try have a bit more patience but it's so hard.
Don't know if I should get any more tests or wait a week or so and see what happens?
I'm driving myself mad here with all the tests and negatives and poor Dh seems to think I've slightly lost the plot.
I guess for now it's a no tho and I'll have to try a little more patience

xJune88 · 06/09/2018 07:24

Sorry I've been quiet for a while been on mad holidays and enjoying life far too much haha. Deciding to test this morning and got this. I am fucking petrified that it's the old pregnancy or some awful trick. Going to wait till the weekend passes, no period shows (I pray) and will take it from Monday. Shit. Never thought a positive would be so scary but after 2 losses I suppose it's normal...

DartmoorDoughnut · 06/09/2018 07:39

@Newbie21 and @xJune88 what fantastic news to wake up to! Absolutely everything crossed for you both Flowers

@Taylorsej17 sorry if I’ve missed it in the fog of sleep deprivation but when is/was AF due? It may be worth asking for a betaHCG blood test from your GP if you’re late Flowers

I’m a frazzled mess today thanks to my eldest who has decided he doesn’t want a nappy on over night and took it off himself then wee’d all over himself/his bed so washing machine was going at 3am, thanks son! Spend my entire time wondering if I’m being selfish by desperately wanting another but I never felt done even when pregnant but that’s my wants what about their needs? Feel like a bitch but at the same time can’t convince myself that it’s wrong to have another Confused

Russkispy · 06/09/2018 07:47

@xJune88 congratulations! Fingers crossed it sticks and healthy pregnancy ahead! ThanksThanks

Blondcat · 06/09/2018 07:52
