Another new thread! This is a lovely supportive thread for anyone who has suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately known as the penguin huddle- this is the place to survive the ups and downs of this crazy journey.

@boboelephant my cycles are 23/24 days and using fertility friend and Flo (amongst others) suggests I’m 9 dpo. AF due Wednesday. Would be really odd to ovulate now? Surely? This is 5th cycle of trying (I think, could be 4th) my heads a little off. Just more confusing stuff! Thanks for your reply

@InDreamland thanks. Hope you enjoyed your massage! As for the FRERs I'd just wait and see how you feel. I've stopped testing early now as the bfn seems way worse than AF but see how you feel in a couple of weeks.
@Melpops36 hmm it's odd. Have you had 4 regular cycles of 24 days since MC? Lots of ladies on here have ovulated a week or so late- including me 3 cycles post MC- so it wouldn't be impossible. I also would always believe opks over apps as they just work on a generic equation. But it would be odd 5 cycles in if they've been consistent. Hmm hope you get an answer soon. And thanks!

@boboelephant it’s really odd yes! Yes four cycles regular as clockwork. Feel like AF Is def on her way. Actually miscarried in March had crazy cycles post ERPC but had retained products til May. 24 day cycles since June.
Doctors currently doing hormone checks so all will be revealed.

So ladies I did another test and got a BFN 😔. Must have been a dodgy test. I'm not too disappointed was finding it hard to believe I'd be so lucky anyway. So Still waiting for AF to arrive....its been 31 days now since erpc so guess things are just still taking time to get back to normal. Just can't wait for it to arrive so we can get on with things.

Sorry to hear that @Littleray84. Was it a FRER you retested with? Either way, keep on keeping on - it's a waiting game with a massive chunk of luck attached this fertility game. There's seems to be very little within our own actual gift so I guess all we can do is try to stay healthy, relax and take some 'me-time' when we can get it. And try not to drive ourselves bonkers with hoping, waiting and testing! Xx

Well I'm still pregnant ( 4 + 4) so far so that nurse was wrong. Now I'm keeping everything crossed for a sticky peanut.

How are you all getting on?

I have the pre AF symptoms so think I'm out this month but a few days still to go before I'm officially out so will play it out. Next month is my last chance to be pregnant and know it on the due date of my lost little one. Although think I'm beginning to realise that it doesn't really matter, one doesn't replace the other. Wanting a baby and grieving a lost one are two sets of emotions that will just run along side each other. I think thinking that way will help.

@Lilimum4 that is such a relief and what a bitch that nurse was!! So unprofessional!!! I know how stressful these early days are but fx for you the next few weeks and months go by uneventfully and your little baby will be in your arms soon!

@newbie21 we must have conceived the same month originally. I too wanted to be pregnant by the time the due date came around but that's definitely not going to be the case for me. I've realised that self-made deadlines for having a baby is not a good plan!

Guess I'm in the tww now, static smiley disappeared this morning. First since mc which was 7 weeks ago tomorrow. Realistically though not expecting to be pregnant already. Will probably take another 5 years. Trying no to get my hopes up.

Great news @Lilimum4 what tests did you have in the end? Rising hCG? So glad things have worked out! Fx for a very sticky bean!
@Newbie21 we are cycle buddies! I'm due AF Thursday. So will wait to test that day. I'm sure I'm out tho, not feeling any pregnancy symptoms like last time, plus no implantation bleed. Although I hold on to a tiny bit of hope as I know every pregnancy is different so can't necessarily expect same symptoms each time.
Anyone else in the TWW with?

@kisses4u hcg yes, they said a scan would be pointless at this point. Now there's talk of my hcg levels being too high for my weeks. I'm just glad that it went up not down. Urine test are still positive and no sign of any bleeding so far.

@kisses4u it's not my last chance permanently. It's just the last cycle that I can fall pregnant and have it confirmed before the due date of the baby I lost. I've had this want to be pregnant before that due date but I know it's a silly thing to think.

@ my consern is the last mmc was at 7 to 8 weeks and if it happens that way again it will fall on my due date for the first mmc and it's also my wedding anniversary. So that's my first hurdle get passed 8 weeks and then I'll start to let myself relax a bit I think. I'm super anxious about every twinge pain etc at the moment in obsessed that the pain I have in my left hip and back and lack of morning sickness means I have an ectopic in my left tube. Midwife refuses to scan me early.

I totally understand what you mean! My Af is due in 3 days which would have been my babies due date 😢 still hanging on for a BFP. If not it’s going to be a tough few days. Was convinced I would be pregnant by now!

@Melpops36 I really hope that this is your month and that A BFP is days away! Stay strong and be kind to yourself and whatever the outcome know that there are people thinking of you at this difficult time.

My local EPAS won't scan until 7 weeks. The consultant told me it's to prevent further anxiety as before that they often can't see much? So, you can actually leave more confused / upset. However, because of my treatment I have to get scanned at 5 weeks (determined by a Professor at Coventry & Warwickshire). My consultant in my hometown (Scotland) has warned me she doesn't think this is a good idea but will do it when required.
