Ladies, what are your thoughts on massages during the 2ww? Dh has booked me a massage for weds which I’m very excited about but not sure if it’s a good idea. I’m actually not even sure if I am in the 2ww! Currently cd21 after mc. Not totally ttc but dtd cd 14&16 when I had ewcm. Don’t even know if I ov’d. 99% chance Im not pregnant but would I kick myself if by some freak chance I did get a bfp and I’d had a massage?? Or do I just go for it knowing it’s massively unlikely??

@rdm10 sorry I might sound stupid but if you are pregnant how will a massage be bad

@Lilimum4 and @Russkispy beautiful blankets you talented ladies! Mine is only a.couple of rows long (it's going to be a whopper as I had to cast on 220 stitches!) so I'll post an update when you can actually see some of it

Hope we can be some support to you on here! I only joined a couple of weeks back and already feeling much better and more positive for the future. I didn't think I'd be ready to start trying again for a couple of months but I'm already in my first tww! So it's all full steam ahead! We will all get our happy endings soon!

@kisses4u yes will be first baby. Which is why I took the miscarriage so hard :(

Unfortunately finding the right man to have babies with happens earlier in life for some than others, so I didn't end up with my husband til 35 we got married in November and started trying in Feb

I don't have any kids
I always saw myself as being a grandma by 35 :(

Don't worry as I had my first at 35 and now trying for number 2 at 37... I know what you mean tho, I had grand plans myself of a wedding and two kids by 25! Life just never happens how we'd like huh!

I'm sorry ladies @kisses4u @wewantbabiesnow I feel insensitive to say I'm 23 and trying for a baby for a little amount of time when you ladies have either gone through a lot already or have other risks or elements that have prolonged your journey xxx

It's ok @Delilah7 mine isn't more complicated than just life and time running away with us. I met my husband at 24 (he was 20) then we just had loads of fun years before deciding to settle down, bought a house, got married and started our family all in the last few years. I would say we have had an easy ride until this MC really as our first we conceived fairly quickly then my MC pregnancy in July we caught first try. So although it's awful and we are very sad about it, our journey here isn't so bad

@kisses4u how strange - we're the same age, I had my first at 35 too and am now trying for my second after having an MC (I fell pregnant straight away but lost it at 11 weeks) and there is the same age gap between me and DH.

Sending myself mad today! So glad to have this support! Thank you ladies. 4dpo, no symptoms, cannot cope with TWW! Becoming a little obsessive

Today I'm really struggling. My body feels so pregnant yet tests say otherwise. It's been a month since the bleeding stopped and 5 weeks since it first started. Just want my period to come :( x

@kisses4u yeah I agree testing too early/often just drives you crazy! I will try to wait for AF whenever that is.

@wewantbabiesnow sorry for your loss - I have also heard the success stories about getting pregnant straight after miscarriage but am not getting my hopes up at all as it doesn’t feel like a normal cycle for me. Fingers crossed though.

I am very tearful this morning as it’s my first day back at work which I’m dreading. I am dreading people asking if I’m feeling better as I don’t know what to say.

@Lilimum4 I think it’s to do with the oils they use and certain pressure points? I’m sure it’s fine.

There seems to be a lot of us in our first month since mc. Apparently we’re extra fertile for the 3 months after mc so fingers crossed for all of us! — ignoring the fact that that wasn’t true for me last time —😢

@mostimproved Good luck today. Hopefully it’s not too bad. After my last mc, I hid out when I went back to work and avoided the staff room for a while. Plus, I’d emailed my boss and asked them to tell everyone why I’d been off and ask them not to ask me about it. This time, it happened at the start of the summer holiday (I’m a teacher) so when I go back next week I’m hoping I’ll be strong enough to face it.

I'm off for a long weekend in the Cotswolds on Thursday with DH and DS, I'll be 10dpo on Sat but I've decided not to bring any tests. AF not due until next Wed so going to wait until then (well that's the plan anyway )

I have my fingers and toes crossed for anyone starting a new cycle, in FW or TTW (so that's all of you...)

I'm actually doing really well at the moment and life has been very busy in a nice way which is why I haven't been around a lot.
I got offered a new job last week and although I won't be starting it for a while it's made me feel so much more upbeat! I had just got in to a cycle of thinking nothing was going my way and that good things were happening to everyone else and not me. So things are looking up. I've been going out for meals and seeing friends a lot and doing a lot of knitting and just generally having a good time.
My last cycle being so off kilter with my previous ones has made me realise I'm not as regular as I thought and as I don't OPK or anything I currently have no idea whatsoever where I am in my cycle, but I think I'm about CD24ish? Could be due AF any time from 4 days til now up to a week or two from now, so just letting nature do its thing.
TTC isn't my main focus right now, which feels a lot more relaxing.

Had a lovely relaxing bank holiday weekend got some dtd in for fw ov was either yesterday or maybe today/tomorrow depending on cycle this month as anywhere from 25-27/8 days as like @knitkitty cycles are a bit squiffy after the mc.
Went to see some friends with their 4 month old yesterday and had some cuddles which was lovely he is such a happy chap just a little grumpy at times.

@KnitKitty hello lovely I'm too am total amazed and Court off guard. Only problem is to get it confirmed on my records I either have to wait until 12th of September or go through triage nurse. I really wanted to see my doctor but that would be 25th September.
As for my wool I buy cygnet love the feel and not too expensive either, lovely bright and pastle colours.

OK update and I'm so worried. Triage nurse refuses to register my regancy because the test line is fainter then the control line on her test even though I showed her mine. Also she says there's blood I both my urine and cm. She told me to try booking another appointment but I told reception say there is no appointment available until 12th. So I kick off and now I get to see one a 4.40 today. She has left me so upset I'm in floods, I just don't know what to do
