Starting the two week wait again. Anyone else? Pleeeaaase be the month 🤞

So I'm starting another two week wait, a bit sooner than anticipated. It seems I either ovulated CD 10 or 11 this cycle, which is very early for me.

Not sure if I'm 1 or 2dpo? Got a positive ovulation strip on Wednesday, by Thursday it was negative, but had lots of EWCM and CP was high soft and open. Would I get a negative OPK on the day or within hours of ovulation? Any advice would be much appreciated .

@ContadoraExplorer I think I'm in the same boat. I got a bfn today af 2 days late.. cervix has moved real low and open.. so gutted.. @momma22 my boobs are usually the first things to go too.. should of known I wasn't pregnant this month, the bloody things feel fine. Two weeks feels so far away to try again now .. crappy crap crap for us all xx

It's a bit crazy how our bodies react to this process!

I have no idea what it feels like to be pregnant; I spent about 20 years of my life trying not to be and now I am trying, I'm aware of every little twinge, feeling of exhaustion or nausea and my mind automatically thinks "maybe this is it."

I guess, despite trying not to think about it, it's constantly at the back of my mind (which ironically won't be helping!!)

@seastargirl I've also heard that too, maybe my body geared up to ovulate CD 10 but didn't quite manage it for whatever reason. We've also just kept trying, I don't temp or anything so I've really no way of knowing for definite when I ovulated, so just got to keep DTD just in case.

@thethreeandme it really is crap 😕 I'm now just patiently waiting for my boobs to feel sore so I know either AF or a BFP is imminent.

My CM has now completely dried up. Not sure what that means? From what I've googled it means ive either just ovulated or AF is about to start

Well not to upset you but the day before af turns up for me I get zero cm.. mines gone dry too I'd hoped it wad a good sign lol.. and yes you're so right @ContadoraExplorer you look out for each tiny sign.. then when they all start adding up you get secretly so excited. Even now .. after bfn I'm trowling the internet for "Bfn after missed af can I still be pregnant lol.. there jist no letting go until it actually turns up lol xx

Very interesting as I'm also all dried up now, I never really paid attention before but now I think I'll do a spread in my bujo to track all the different types of CM per day and be more aware of patterns...at least that's something to look forward too if AF ends up coming. Yes I'm obessed with bujo spreads (bullet journal).

@feerouge yes I go alot by cervical position and cm.. I've never done temp and used opk once but I can identify when I'm ovulat ing by cervix . Which is why I'm confused this month as I had ewcm on the 28th which would of made me due 11th. I think my cycle was a bit squiff this month or all the stress has delayed af xx

No AF and my cervix feels like it's going higher again so I'm still in limbo. Had weird CM yesterday... really thin and sticky, some very clear and some white. Headed to my parents today with both my mooncup and a pregnancy test, lol. Every time I think I'm 100% out something gets my hopes up I just want an answer now! If no AF by Thursday morning (CD29) I'm testing again.

Thank you @Thethreeandme. It's been 15 months now, to this day in fact, and not a hint of a positive. However, I had long irregular cycles which (touch wood) seem to be returning to normal after 1. Having my (supposedly long expired) implant removed , 2. Losing weight and exercising, and 3. Tackling mine and DHs vitamin d deficiency. So fingers crossed it's more likely to happen now, but if not we'll go for fertility testing, probably the cycle after next.

Oh wow you've given it your all then! I'm only on cycle 3 .. well.. I can call it 4 now! But this is our last baby and I'm 31 so would ideally like to be pregnant before I'm 32.. jist personal preference xx

@Thethreeandme We're 28 and I always thought I'd be done having kids by 30! Have had to change it to just wanting to have our first by 30, so we'll have to see.

Haha tbh I thought I was done with 3 but we want one more.. funny how goals change xx

@triskaidekaphilia fingers crossed for some good news soon! I'm 34 and just starting out so hoping I've not left it too long!

I'm 36, we're trying until January and then giving up as the gap between the oldest and youngest would be more than we would like.

If we don't get pregnant we're booking Lapland for the following Christmas to cheer me up!

@seastargirl hopefully you won't have to cheer yourself up (although Lapland would be amazing!) 🤞

Well like a total idiot. I took a test. Couldn't resist. Passing the chemist so just went in and picked up a couple of those cheapy strip tests. Obviously it was a BFN. There's still a glimmer of hope though, those tests aren't the most sensitive (25mlu) and I'm not actually due on until Thursday, even that I'm not a million percent sure on, because although I got a positive opk 12days ago I still have this feeling I ovulated later than the opks would suggest.

Still a bit gutted though. I was kinda expecting it and I feel really silly for giving in and testing early.

it's gonna take huge willpower for me not to pee on the other one in the morning 🙈 Gonna try and wait it out until Thursday at least, but I can't promise anything

Me too 're the drying up thing, I'm almost 100% certain I'll get af this weekend, boobs have eased and cramps have started. It sucks so bad, onto cycle 21

I've been wondering as well, the actual month I do feel pregnant how will I actually feel? I don't mean just symptom spotting, I mean emotionally happy/scared/excited, I've allowed myself to dare dream this month which is silly I know but I've really tried to stay positive this month

@Owlpatrol it really does suck, and if I am indeed not pregnant I'll be going into cycle no 5. I feel so silly feeling sad about it, because I know that is really not that long at all. I just naively assumed when I first started trying it would happen straight away as we're both quite young (in our 20s) and conceived twice before without even trying. How wrong I was! I've learnt a harsh lesson from all of this, and it's made me appreciate just how lucky we are to have our little DD. Ladies like yourself who have been trying for much longer, well, you must be incredibly tough to go through this month after month. I really do hope you get your BFP soon!

@Thethreeandme I want 3, DH wants 2 and at the moment we'll both just be happy to get (and to afford) 1!

@Momma22 don't worry we've all done it, at least cos it's early you know you're not out yet! My DH and I disagreed over when to start trying as like you he was optimistic about how long it'd take and I was pessimistic. How I wish he'd been right.

@Owlpatrol I've been wondering the same. Will I cry? Feel out of body? Or will the months I've spent deluding myself that this is the month mean I just feel like 'huh' because I thought it was the case all along?

@Triskaidekaphilia @Owlpatrol I'm also dreaming about how I'll feel and what my reaction will be when I finally get my BFP. It was a totally different kettle of fish with my DD, because she was a surprise, I just went to the loo to do the test, really not expecting anything, then saw the darkest of two pink lines appear within seconds, and my heart started racing. Went and jumped back into bed with OH bawling my eyes out, really not knowing how to feel. But OH was great, just reassuring me and preventing me from hyperventilating 😂

I think it would be a totally different experience with a pregnancy we'd planned. Less mixed emotions & I know we'd be totally over the moon, still probably be a bit terrified, especially considering we've been through a miscarriage since, something that hardly crossed my mind when I was pregnant with DD, but we'd be so so happy all the same.

@momma22 you're not out the game yet. I'm either 4 days missed period or 2 days lol. Took another test this morning because like you I couldn't wait and for a few minutes I thought I saw the faintest second line but could of been an indent line lol.. I just don't understand where af is!! @Triskaidekaphilia that's a good plan.. our youngest is 4 now and eldest 10 so felt we could give he/she quality time and effort lol xx

I got my static smiley!!!! FINALLY! Only 14 flashing days before today and a static one. Time for some Italian BDing!
Soon I will be able to actually be in the tww with you ladies....only a week and a half later! 😂🙈

@Momma22 sorry to hear about the bfn, but as you say it is still early so don't give up hope yet, I have my fingers crossed for you!

@Owlpatrol - I think there is a lot to be said for intuition 🤞🏻 when do you think you will test?

@Momma22 I know what you mean. It's been a really hard lesson for me as well, and one that I've come round full circle and I have to think that when it's right it's right. It's all I have some times! Not to be too doom and gloom obviously, it's been so good having your support this month.
@FlapJackered no early testing for me this time, I rarely test early these days and never with a frer 😂 I'm away till Friday and due Saturday so keeping myself busy till then. Go go go enjoy that Italian sun!

I have been using the cheap OPK's and Ovia app but ordered a 2 decimal place thermometer yesterday so I can start tracking my temp - gradually adding different things to do as I learn more!
