Starting the two week wait again. Anyone else? Pleeeaaase be the month 🤞

So I'm starting another two week wait, a bit sooner than anticipated. It seems I either ovulated CD 10 or 11 this cycle, which is very early for me.

Not sure if I'm 1 or 2dpo? Got a positive ovulation strip on Wednesday, by Thursday it was negative, but had lots of EWCM and CP was high soft and open. Would I get a negative OPK on the day or within hours of ovulation? Any advice would be much appreciated Smile.

@Momma22 you're not out yet, fingers crossed for your next test.

I remember when I got pregnant with my first I had actually felt more excited by the positive OPK then the positive HCG, when I found out I was pregnant, it was more relief and being terrified of was I actually ready for it after all the trying and would everything be ok. But I quickly became excited and started scouring the mothercare website!

@feerouge if you're anything like me if you have it in the house you'll do it. So depends whether you're going to get cheapy ones where it really doesn't matter or going for the more expensive option.

I'm still so confused as to what's going on with me. Think I'll end up seeing the GP if this rise happens again as I've had peaks 2 weeks in a row. Thinking the PCOS is meaning that I'm trying to release an egg but nothing is actually happening. It's very frustrating!

Thanks everyone for keeping me feeling optimistic and positive after my BFN.

I think it's important to be realistic and not get your hopes up, but also not to let it drag you down and to remain hopeful! 🤞

I didn't do the other test this morning and I probably won't until tommorow morning. The opportunity to use FMU has came and went for today so ..

Cervix still low'ish and firm, and CM still dry. So it's not looking good. But my boobs aren't sore? If I'm due on in 2 days then why or why are my boobs not hurting?! They always hurt right before AF! Plus I'd usually be getting the occasional cramp by now, which I haven't had.

@FlapJackered glad to hear you finally got your solid smiley! The idea of concieving in Italy is so romantic!

@Momma22 my boobs don't hurt either, a little heavy as I'm bloated all over but it's weird that they're not sore. Cervix being low may not mean anything bad- for some it stays low until long after the BFP.

@feerouge I'd avoid buying one for as long as possible. I really want to test but I only have the one test with me so it's stopping me Grin

@momma22 I've got a reerrrally dull ache in my lower back.. it's not kidney pain so go's knows but I don't normally get it. And my cervix is same as you're.. difficult to be hopeful isn t it xx

@Triskaidekaphilia I'm exactly the same as you. Bloated everywhere! But my boobs aren't sore either, get a weird tingling in my left boob every now and then, but I'm starting to think that's my mind playing tricks on me. And I have decided not to monitor my CP anymore as I reckon it's a load of rubbish, because suddenly now this afternoon my cervix has risen and feels soft again?

@Thethreeandme Is AF due any time soon for you? If not those cramps sound promising!

@momma22 😂 yes 4 days ago lol.. but I've taken sooooo many tests now all bfn this morning had a faint indent line that I've not noticed before but will just have to test again, I'm hoping my levels if pregnant will of doubled by to.orrow morning lol xx

How are you all going to tell your oh when you get your bfp.. I'm looking for fun ways .. also if any of you have grandparents you want to tell in a nice way I found this a while back...

@momma22 I don't know if you know this website but it shows the chances of bfp depending on dpo

@Momma22 I'm hoping CP does mean something tbh because mine has risen right up to where I can barely touch it, and is very firm and closed. But if I'm not pregnant that means it might be another weird long cycle which would be annoying.

@Thethreeandme I listed some of my ideas upthread. If I get a BFP by Friday morning it's going to be the converse one- so you're not searching that means I'm going to line up both of our red converse with some baby red converse in the middle, probably on the stairs so he sees them as he comes in, then I would put the test on the next step up. MIL would probably like that poem but my DM would find it vomit-inducing tbh Grin

@feerouge hopefully we are still in! I was actually 11dpo when I tested so the odds aren't quite as good for me :( but still, fingers crossed 🤞 I was chatting with a lady on a similar thread last month, she was sure she was out as she had AF symptoms and BFN at 11dpo, then a few days later she posted a pic of cb digital test saying pregnant 1 - 2, so it does happen! I'm going to test with FMU tommorow, I'll be 13dpo so if it's another BFN I'll be 99.9% sure I'm out. Unless of course my opks were wrong, and I actually ovulated later? We shall see. Wish me luck for the morning!

Just really hope I get a BFP tommorow! I'm going to see family who live abroad on Thursday and I would live to be able to tell my parents in person

@momma22 how have you gotten on today. I've had another bfn and to be honest I'm getting concerned now. That's really late for me and I don't have symptoms so I don't think im actually pregnant but there mist be something wrong going to have to see my Dr I think xx

I tested this morning (at 8 dpo) because i have zero self-control.... and got a positive test! Not calling it a BFP yet because the line is still faint and I had a chemical last month - but the line is already darker now than it was then, so I'm very cautiously optimistic!

@lularose hhhooo that's so exciting!! Are you going to wait for missed AF to retest or see your GP?

I've resisted testing this morning, I've had a rough night with sciatica pain coming back, something I carry from first pregnancy. Also was too hot and got bothered by a desperate housewives episode about spouse cheating lol. Haaa the week seems so long! How are you getting on @momma22 ?
