So I'm starting another two week wait, a bit sooner than anticipated. It seems I either ovulated CD 10 or 11 this cycle, which is very early for me.

Not sure if I'm 1 or 2dpo? Got a positive ovulation strip on Wednesday, by Thursday it was negative, but had lots of EWCM and CP was high soft and open. Would I get a negative OPK on the day or within hours of ovulation? Any advice would be much appreciated .

So, CD49 and 11DPO, AF got me today. I'm gutted. I was hoping for a better outcome after such a long cycle. Now I'm doing away with OPKs, BBT tracking and I'm just going to see what happens, as this last 18 months has been so hard so something has to give!

@Eminen I'm so sorry that you're out, it took us two years to get my son, but we got there eventually. I really hope to see you with a BFP soon

@Momma22 I'm a massive believer in trusting your gut insticts so go with that I'd say if you were due around the 22nd you would probably get some pms symptoms over the next few days

@Eminen same hun I'll be onto cycle 20 now I think!? Had af symptoms a few days now and my gut instinct is telling me I'm not pregnant but trying to stay positive

@seastargirl I'm nearly at the 2 years too, I hope you don't mind me asking did you fall naturally with your first or did you end up needing some help. I am at the verge of giving up tbh!

I'm away this week so can't test either till at least next weekend so I'll be holding out also for that hokiday chill to help implantation!

@Owlpatrol we had to use Clomid in the end, 3 cycles of that and we were sorted. Then my other two pregnancies happened very easily. As one resulted in a missed miscarriage we're now trying for no3.

Are you having investigations etc now?

@seastargirl yeah we started a couple of months back, dp needs to have his sperm testing but mine came back "normal"

Hi ladies can I jump on this thread.. af due yesterday hasn't turned up yet but cervix is low and seems open. Although I never really tell a difference between open and closed! I wish af would just turn up but by the same token can't help planning all the cute ways I'm going to tell oh in my head... hate the waiting game. I did test 3 days ago bfn so god knows xx

@Owlpatrol it's great that your tests came back normal (although I was almost relieved when I was diagnosed with pcos as it meant they could do something to help, so I get it if you're frustrated by that).

My cycle gets weirder, had some ewcm so did an opk which is glaringly positive, so with my temp not rising as it should going to think that maybe I'll ov tomorrow instead. Fortunately the kids are away with in laws for the weekend so we've been making the most of the time anyway.

@seastargirl sounds good to me, we managed twice this fw so I am assuming I'm still in. Most people who have been long time ttcer have had to have some help. Dp has 2 dc from previous so what's more frustrating is that we won't qualify on nhs for IVF so that is a bitter pill to swallow but the months just seem to fly by now, especially like us you revolve a lot of your life around the 2ww. But anyway, we are away this weekend so off for a nice morning walk trying to take my mind off my sore boobs! Argh

So I'm now 10dpo, surely I'd be feeling a little 'different' by now if I really was pregnant. But I really don't feel pregnant at all. Equally though I don't feel like AF is on its way either, there's no symptoms to suggest I'm gonna come on in the next few days anyway. Other than the fact I'm still pretty bloated ...

Well I had another BFN this morning. Pretty sure AF is on the way now, all the other signs are there

Well ladies. Af still hasn't arrived today yet . I have a pounding headache and am really tired . I'm charting all and any symptoms so if by some miracle.i get a bfp I can tell you all wjat to look out for lol.. weirdly my sister has just text to say she thinks she may be pregnant after her 3rd mmc!! I'm on 5dpo and already driving myself a bit loopy. I know it's physically impossible to have symptoms yet, but I have been having terrible nausea all day and i am SO tired.

I've been obsessing over my BBT chart and worrying because I had an odd temp dip at 2dpo - but I've just seen that my temps are almost identical to when I conceived DS!!! So now I'm very hopeful.

Still trying to last until next weekend before testing, but I may or may not have already peed on an internet cheapie test just because I was getting withdrawals from POAS! 😂🤦‍♀️

I've been a miserable twat all day today and I can't shift it at all! I've been picky to dp all day so I feel like af is on its way

Hi all, hope you don't mind me jumping onto this thread. I'm pretty new to all this!

I have been off the pill for about 18 months/2 years but we had a lot going on, including risk of zika, so only recently started TTC.

First month we just stopped being using condoms without any serious plan, second we BD'd a few times around the time I thought I was ovulating (I used one OPK to confirm there was some level of LH surge when I was having some pain that I thought was ovulation) but this time I started to track it from early on so think we were a bit more accurate.

I am approximately 11 days DPO and AF is due next Friday according to a tracking app. Ever since we last DTD I've had a lot of symptoms, mainly dull cramps that come and go, lower back ache, feeling tired and the last couple of days my boobs have been getting sore but I'm a bit paranoid that it's just really early PMS. Took a FRER last night to see if anything showed but, whilst I thought I saw a slight shadow where a line should be, my DH couldn't see anything and when I checked it a little later, I couldn't see it either.

Trying not to get too obsessed with it all but it's easier said than done so far!!

Damn I put paragraphs in that last post and it has come out as one big blurb... apologies, lots to learn!

@Momma22 - it sounds like you have a really positive attitude to it. I really hope you get a bfp out of it.
I think that's the main reason I use opks, just to know where I am in my cycle and how long it is going to be. It does help me relax when I know when I have ov'd and can predict when af will turn up. It is so frustrating when ov decides to take its sweet time though!

I am testing the theory of getting my bfp by relaxing and drinking and eating what I want. If I get pregnant I am going to have to give him/her an Italian name! 😂

I was weak and decided to test at 10dpo but nothing really, under the light I thought I could see a very very faint line but then it might have been wishful thinking. You know when you drop it a bit and it looks like there's a shadow but when you face it you can't see anything. I guess the suspense remains til the end of the week. I've got more cramps and backache but that's it. AF due Saturday. Good luck everyone!

BFN this morning, AF has just arrived (started to get cramps last night, couple of hours after I posted so aready had suspicions). Think the app I've started using might need a few more months of data to become more accurate!

So frustrating that I've effectively had PMS for a fortnight... why do we do this to ourselves?!

Well I'm starting to lose hope a little bit now, still not feeling particularly pregnant. Plus my cervix has dropped really low and is feeling firm and slightly open, which says to me AF is on her way. Trying to remain positive, and resisting the urge to test!

Sorry to hear that everyone's had it tough.

Looks like I'm back to 1dpo as had positive opks this weekend and temp looks like it'll shift, so I'm 1doo I when I thought I was 8, but at least it's still a possibility!

@seastargirl I'm also starting to wonder if I'm as far in to the tww as I initially thought too. I think I'm about 11dpo based on when I got a positive opk. But that would mean I'd have ovulated cd11 which based on my past cycles would be very early for me, now starting to wonder if that opk was ever really positive at all, I took several more after that, all negative, some dark'ish, but definitely negatives. Haven't done any opks in the last week or so as I've ran out and don't want to really be buying any more until next cycle, if I'm not pregnant that is.

I just think by 11dpo I'd be feeling something, either pregnancy or AF related. My boobs aren't sore and I've no cramps. Only thing that would indicate AF is imminent is my CP and the fact I've been massively bloated for days. The sore boobs thing would be the biggest sign that I'm late into my LP if I was either expecting or due on. So who knows, I've inserted a pic of the positive opk I got CD 10, is it 100% positive do you think?

I am probably reading far too much into all this as usual 🙈

@Momma22 from my research it can either mean you didn't ovulate the first time so could be ovulating this time, you could be pregnant (most say that you'd show up pregnant on a hpt before an I opk though) or could be about to start your period. Not really helpful I'm afraid.

We've fortunately been trying anyway so I guess just keep at it until you get an actual answer from something!
