Yes I was thinking you were the same age! Definitely don't lose hope - it's really really possible. I don't know where they get the stats from anyway for our age group - most women aren't trying at 45 so how do they know? All the very best and hope you get your BFP very soon! x

STILL no AF. Occasionally I feel really heavy like it's about to start but nothing.

After it being mentioned up thread, I've started taking my B vitamins again. They always make me feel more sprightly 🕺

This cycle has been quite strange. The only time DH and I could dtd I practically had to force him (very unusual and he's been fine the rest of the time). Then last weekend I had pmt on a huge scale. Everything felt so overwhelming.

It maybe won't be a bad thing to say goodbye to this cycle and start a fresh. Still have fingers crossed for a late BFP though!!!

Mellon sounds positive about AF not showing up! I think when Karigan was going through this not too long ago she said she found a lot of posts from ladies who had bfn but turned out to be pregnant so 🤞

Cleo you're not losing the plot what I spent on TCM would've paid for a third of IVF cycle..

will check out those boards and report back, definitely going to have to do this this month or next, the internal pressure from within is starting to become a bit unbearable, feel like i'm letting my parents down, 43 and no grandchildren and they are beyond longed for, by everyone!

Do you think it's possible for flying or holidays to throw your cycle off? I'm cd15 now and still blank opk's. That's unusual for me, but I don't feel 'wrong' yet like I did through my anovulatory cycle. I actually currently feel quite normal.
I was so positive and relaxed about things when I came back from holiday and now this! So annoying! And now I'm not relaxed any more. Bah.

Hi...wanted to join this thread but you might now kick me out! I’m 42 and a half and have 8 children - 1 mc (1st pregnancy) and 1 mmc between babies 7 & 8. Baby 8 is now 21 months and I still feed him but Broodiness got the better of us and in June we decided to have a little go...I weirdly had a 26 day cycle that I’ve never in my entire life had..but knew I’d ovulated as it was a really strong ovulation and painful! Last month we decided to try a little harder... caught ovulation on opk - and low and behold after and didn’t show up and I was cd 35 (I often have 35 day cycles when having periods) I did a test....bfp!!! I’m scared rigid after having the mmc - can handle a straight forward mc but it was traumatic to find out on scan and then have a decision to make etc! Any how...that’s me!

Wow lumpy, you are super mega fertile! Can you pass some of that dust this way?!

Wow @Lumpy76 congratulations!! I'm very similar - I had a Mmc before my sixth two years ago; it's an awful situation isn't it. I'd also had a ruptured ectopic 12 years ago so only have one tube. Anyway...I've just found out an hour ago after joining this thread at start of month that that's us pregnant with no.7!!

Clemo holidays do indeed throw it off. Every holiday I’ve been on I ovulated a week late!

And Mellon, I was pregnant without a BFP. Took a scan to see the pregnancy.

Hi I’m 41 and booked for Mirena removal next week. I have DS 1 and 2 and am TTC #3. I lost a baby 2 years ago after an abnormality was identified on the harmony test. I decided then that I needed to be be at peace and feel happy with my 2 boys. But more recently felt strong urges to try again.
I didn’t want to reach Menopause with regrets. Also DS2 is now 5 so much more independent.
So I shall try for a few months and see what happens.
I have so many worries about conceiving, miscarriage trisomys etc..
But I feel ready to face this now. I didn’t feel like that even a year ago.

@teacuptattoo we are similar aren’t we?! My 1st mc was a long time ago too. The mmc was such a horrid experience and I waited for a natural mc and ended up haemorrhaging 😩. I’m desperately trying to keep my mind off things but can’t and have so far done 5 tests...just to prove it’s still positive! Of course that just puts the worry into ... is the line strong enough 🤦🏼‍♀️ so lovely to hear of someone as mad as me!! 😘

It's so nice to see a flurry of BFPs on this thread, despite how nervous we all feel. Am genuinely hoping they all stick and you go on to have trouble-free pregnancies and healthy bouncing babies.

Not feeling too positive at the mo but think that's the 1st day of af... the bitching cramps tend to zap the positivity out of you, on hols and hubs being a mega pain.. congratulations @TeacupTattoo if I haven't already said it, congrats to @Lumpy76 too I have 5 and trying for 6th nice to have other mums of big families on her too I often feel a little guilty trying for number 6 when some lovelies haven't even had one, but no one have ever made me feel it... just inner guilt.. anyway nice to have some bfps' baby dust to a few more... now going to stuff my face with pate and soft cheese ( am in France) and have a couple of beers to console myself xx

Hello. Can I join in? I'm 40 and TTC DC3. I had an early miscarriage 4 months ago - we weren't really "trying", just not preventing since birth of DC2 2 years ago, but after the miscarriage decided we definitely want DC3. I've just got my period today (just after getting a negative HPT) and am feeling a bit sad and deflated. DC1 was a happy accident and DC2 was conceived first cycle so this is a relative struggle, though I know how lucky we are.

I took these like 9-14 of them are like this but clear blue digital is saying im not , iv never been pregnant what a birthday present if i am 🤣 fella thinks im being an over thinker

Mine are a very faint line so you have to look closely
