@Littlemimosa - yep if there are any ‘spare’ embryos of good enough quality the cost of freezing them for one year is included in the cycle fee. After a year you get charged annually to keep them frozen.

Meant to mention that we also had the endo scratch done this time as I’m sure I have a problem with implantation. Given the fertilisation rates we have had both cycles it’s the only explanation really for the fact that I never even achieve CPs, despite often getting strong impantation pains.

@Jenbot78 I’ve never tried any of those devices, manly because I find the Clearblue ovulation test kits work really well for me 😊

Cleozeta · 06/10/2018 09:40

Jenbot I have an ava bracelet. It is useful for knowing your fertile period and checking temps to confirm ovulation without the faff of actually temping.plus the daily data for those who love to obsess is great. It's expensive though. But faff free, so in my opinion - worth it!

Rose68 · 06/10/2018 09:47

@Critter - it all sounds really promising! Still keeping everything crossed for you.
@Jenbot78 - I also don’t use any cycle tracking devices, but my cycle is very regular and I get ovulation pains. I am using clear blue ovulation tests now though, just to make sure.
@Littlemimosa - My acupuncturist said alcholol should be reduced, but conception rates are higher among those who drink something compared to those who drink nothing. I am still having the occasional glass. xxx

Autumn sounds good, I'll wait for the new one! xx

Orchid222 · 06/10/2018 21:19

Ok ladies, I've created a new thread. We still have some space left on this one (I think another 69 messages/2 more pages) so we can finish it up and move to the new one afterwards, I just wanted to make sure I post the link before we run out of space here. The link is: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/3386745-Over-40-ttc-Autumn-baby-dust-for-me?watched=1. I'll do my best to post it again when we're on p. 40 and closer to the end of this thread.

Hi everyone well I have been off here for a while - was trying to de stress about while situation but now can I ask for advice as really confused! My second postpartum period was due 17 September and this day I started spotting ( had a +hpt but string negatives after so presume I was 1% chance of false positive!) anyway spotting continued not enough for a pad except for an hour one day until cd 14 2 October which then became heavier started having clots etc but was light still some in bowl when wee , so I thought as fed up of bleeding would take soy ISO for 4 days so did after I was heavier , bleeding stopped 8 October. I don't know when to say cycle day started was it from spotting it when I was heavier? Also I am now if you count heavier bleed as cd 1 cd 15 I am so hungry all the time feel sick and certain smells make me feel more sick! I am really confused and don't know when af will be expected! Please does anyone have advice ? Sorry to ask and hope makes some sense! Xx
