Anyone around 9 dpo?

Hi wondering if anyone is around 9dpo and wants to join me for the agonising wait? I'm trying to hold off from testing until at least 12dpo but it's so hard! I've never obsessed over something so much and I'm only on my 2nd cycle Sad

Yeh I try to think that way too. We've had a lot of stress with our house the last few months which got resolved on Friday so I'm hoping the reduction in stress might help move things along lol. And I'm ok thank you are you? I'm just not liking how TTC is making me feel and think. 2 of my work friends told me they have started TTC and my first thought was about how crap I would feel if they conceived before me. How stupid is that! I'm normally a person who doesn't compare myself with others and is happy for them but TTC is taking over my mind! I feel better for acknowledging them feelings though (sorry for the rant) as I could never tell anyone in rl X

@lavenderlove no I understand, as it goes my sister is 8 weeks now so it's a but of a kick in the teeth even though I'm happy for her. It's not as easy and quick as I stupidly thought it would be. Well maybe the universe knows it's the right time for you now fingers crossed I'd be over the moon for you.. when do you ovulate this month xx

lavenderlove · 15/09/2018 20:20

@Thethreeandme yeh it's not easy. Horrible when it bothers you a bit but I'm sure it will happen at the right time for us. I also thought it would be easy. I actually just assumed it would happen the first month as I only missed a few pills when I got caught with my ds. So I think it's been harder to accept that it's taking longer. Thank you I hope it happens as soon as possible for you too! I think I probably ovulate within the last 4 days, I'm currently on CD 15. So I'm probably in the TWW now as af due on 29th X

@lavenderlove I don't envy you and that tww.. it's so hard. I didn't test at all this month just waited for it. But my cycles are 34 days now and I'm not sure if tjat means I may not be ovulating.. period only lasts 2-3 days as well xx

blitzen · 16/09/2018 09:00

@thethree sorry to hear af showed up. Roll on November. Would there be any possibility of joining your oh away for a few days? X

@lavender, yes not too long in reality but it has felt like an eternity and has probably been one of the most stressful times for me. I am still not counting my chickens either. Just so anxious. X

Thethreeandme · 16/09/2018 09:28

@blitzen unfortunately not, I've got the three children here and work myself 4 days a week .. plus two dogs lol. I've found it really hard this morning .. I've never had to have him work away and I'm finding it really difficult that I'm not going to see him. Has anyone else done this and how do you cope I'm so upset which isn't what he needs but I don't know how to feel positive about it xx

blitzen · 16/09/2018 10:13

I'm so sorry that you're feeling rubbish @thethree. I don't think I would like it if my oh worked away. In my work I am regularly away but only usually for a night or two per month. I don't like that very much either! X

lavenderlove · 16/09/2018 10:42

@Thethreeandme TWW is horrible isn't it, longest 2 weeks of my life! And well done to you for not testing, I would like to think I'll do that this month but I'll probably be running to the shop at 12dpo haha.
My DH doesn't work away so I don't know exactly how you feel but hopefully you will surprise yourself with how well you cope and the month will go fast for you. My main tip would be to get in to a routine and ask your kids to chip in with little jobs when you can. Also do you have family or friends that could give you a break for a couple of hours here and there?

@blitzen I can imagine. Try not to feel anxious, although I know I will be exactly the same. It's a lot more likely that everything will be ok so try and enjoy these first few weeks Smile bet you're on countdown to your 12 week scan!

@Thethreeandme my DH works away sometimes although usually for around a week at a time, only very rarely longer than that. It's usually every few months for week long trips and then he might do a night or two away every couple of weeks. I don't like him being away but I've got used to it. Keeping to the normal routine with ds in nursery (I work full time) really helps and I've learnt to enjoy a little bit of 'me time' in the evenings watching the tv I like but he doesn't etc. I also try to maybe take ds out for a treat day or dinner out once as special time for me and him

Thethreeandme · 16/09/2018 16:10

Thank you ladies, it's horrible and because it's new it's terrifying me .. there's no logic to my worry I'll just miss him so much. Think hell welcome the break 😂 you may be right and I may learn to like it but today I'm just dreading him going in the morning.. feel like a needy child .. just got to be positive about it so it's as easy as possible for him too .. the kids have found it tough knowing they won t see him and that's hard too xx

blitzen · 17/09/2018 16:36

Yes, @lavender. I am thinking of doing one of those early scans privately in the meantime. Think you can do it at 8 weeks.

@thethree - how are you today? Hope your goodbye was not too awful xx

lavenderlove · 17/09/2018 19:36

@Thethreeandme hope this morning went ok and you wasn't too upset! I'm sure you'll do fab on your own. And bless your kids! Are you able to get them to FaceTime him with you? That might help a bit! X

@blitzen oh yeh that's a good idea! Will help to put your mind at ease X

Thethreeandme · 17/09/2018 20:07

Thank you all so much for thinking of me. It was difficult but I tried to stay positive for him he's so tired at the moment. Af finished today so another reminder that I have to wait even longer!! How are you all getting on? What stage are we at.. I'll throw myself into your conceptions haha xx

lavenderlove · 18/09/2018 21:52

Aw bless you. Glad you didn't get too upset. Shame you can't try this month but I suppose 1 month won't make much difference in the long run x
I am about 4/5dpo I think. I've just realised I'm due af on the day I'm attending a wedding so she better not show up! I'm always horribly bloated before she comes too which won't look good in the dress I'm wearing!

Sophie14x · 18/09/2018 22:07

Thethreeandme · 19/09/2018 18:49

Well the universe is taking the Mick out of me lol.. Dr called today to say thay my one remaining kidney is playing up got to go see him.. if it's the big C again there goes my plans to conceive arrrrrghhhhh

Squ1ggle · 19/09/2018 20:39

Oh no, I hope it's something and nothing

lavenderlove · 19/09/2018 20:49

@Thethreeandme oh no what worrying news! When are you going to see your doc? Really hope it's nothing serious x

OP posts:
lavenderlove · 19/09/2018 20:52

@Sophie14x I wish I was 9dpo right now, time is moving too slowly!
I have no symptoms really but I'm trying not to think too much in to it as I've convinced myself I'm pregnant for the last three months haha. Yeh that's still very early so I wouldn't worry, when are you planning on testing again? X

OP posts:
Thethreeandme · 19/09/2018 21:53

Thanks ladies my lonely kidney is prob just struggling a bit but will soon see, have to wait two weeks which is a pain. Lavenderlove wjen are you going to test? Fx for you x

lavenderlove · 20/09/2018 11:53

@Thethreeandme oh no, not nice that you have to worry for two weeks before getting answers Sad hopefully the worry will all be for nothing though.
And I'm going to try and wait until Wednesday to test but we will see. Just praying I see that positive. I just feel stuck in limbo at the minute because I hate my job so much but because we're TTC I don't want to get a new job because I might not be there long enough to get the full maternity package. But at the same time I'm making myself miserable and TTC could take ages ughhh Sad

blitzen · 20/09/2018 12:10

@thethree I am sorry you are having kidney problems. I hope the doc can sort you out pronto 💐

lavenderlove · 24/09/2018 09:41

Did a test today at 10dpo but BFN unfortunately. Not feeling too hopeful now
