Anyone around 9 dpo?

Hi wondering if anyone is around 9dpo and wants to join me for the agonising wait? I'm trying to hold off from testing until at least 12dpo but it's so hard! I've never obsessed over something so much and I'm only on my 2nd cycle

Hello @lavender, it was cycle 6 for me and fair to say I was as sick as a chip. Found ttc very stressful. I heard from a few people that it usually takes up to a year. I agree with @dreamin though. Ideal to have your fertile week over Christmas. Hope you can enjoy an eggnog or two!

@thethree think I had low level cramping til about 9 or 10 weeks maybe. Hope you're okay. Could you go for another scan to check how things are? I know it's expensive though.

Hello @dreamin, I felt something on 22nd/23rd which I thought might have been trapped wind but loads of movement on Christmas eve, especially during a Carol service and at bedtime. Not much since but a couple of random flutters yesterday and today. How are you doing?

That's great @thethree! Think I still had cramping past that point with sneezing etc but sounds like you have turned a corner. Lovely that your kids know now too.

@dreaminofholidays Thank you! I have been pretty relaxed about TTC this week. A couple of acquaintances made pregnancy announcements yesterday which gave me a little pang of sadness but the feeling passed quickly! X

@Thethreeandme sorry you had a scare! Glad to hear everything is going ok now. Hopefully you can relax and enjoy your pregnancy now the cramps have gone. Bet it was lovely telling your kids! X

@blitzen thank you. I did enjoy a couple of festive drinks! Tried not to think about things too much and I've ditched the opk's and temping for this month. How exciting that you can feel baby moving!! X

Hi guys, how long will you guys wait until. I'm 12dpo tomorrow but don't know when to test?

I just tested at 12dpo and got a negative. Not going to test anymore

@blueflower sorry to hear that. 12 dpo is still early. If you can wait until AF is due and then test again xxx

@dreaminofholidays it's okay. I guess I am just upset that it hasn't happened. I e seen on a lot of posts how ladies get positives from 9dpo onwards. I'm going to wait until 14dpo, hopefully it will make more of a difference

I was shocked, turns out after clarifying my dates tjat I tested positive at just 6dpo!!! This is so so rare though, and I did have 2 sacs xx

@Thethreeandme oh yeh that must have been why you got a positive so early!! How would you have felt about having twins? Bet it's such a strange feeling x

I'm 9dpo and took a first response today got a super faint line. Still not sure. I wanna hold off until Monday but I'm so anxious now. XX

@lavenderlove it would of been a big jump but we would of managed and been excited but aparently it happens a lot.. I'm 10 weeks now got my midwife next week.. @MrsPilot419 a line is a line lol, mine was so so faint too the first 3 days I took it so maybe if you can, waiting till Monday will help you because it'll be nice and dark then xx

Happy new year ladies. It has been a long week going back to work after the Christmas break. So glad it's the weekend! Things are fine with me and 20w scan went well.

@dreaminofholidays hi, wow it's been a while since we were all on here, I'm now 12+4 had my dating scan, defondue 27th July. How are you getting on. I'll be honest, I can't remember who's at what stage now lol xx

How are you feeling? I'm 22+6 today.

@blitzen congratulations on a little boy!! So exciting. Are you looking at all things little boy?
we had the strangest sonographer. She kept saying what she was checking then spent ages tilting her head and squinting at the screen making confused noises. Was not the reassuring experience I had hoped for. Need to go back for another scan around 30 weeks to check my placenta has moved up.
We didn't find out the sex (or gender?).

Hello @dreamin, thank you very much. I am sorry your sonographer was not very good. That's a real shame as it would have probably been an entirely different experience for you if you'd had someone with a better manner. I hope your next scan is reassuring and also more enjoyable. Would you consider going privately? I did that with a seven week scan and it did give me reassurance at the time. Yes, thanks. It's all boy stuff now. Pretty much have everything to get us started including a load of hand-me-downs from friends and family for which I am very grateful. I did treat him to some newborn togs of his own too and took advantage of the sales. Next step is emptying my spare room (huge task) to make way for all the gear and it will also need to be decorated. I was keen to find out the sex just because I felt that it was another way of helping me to get my head round the whole thing and feel slightly more prepared, if that is possible! Hope you are having a lovely relaxing weekend.

Also hope we get some updates from our other thread buddies too. I hope everyone is happy and healthy x

I'm a miserable cow at the moment lol, feel so irritable.. my poor other half I get irritated when he tried to be intimate went for a 3 hour walk today and my hips are killing I'm only 13 weeks haha.. No I'm happy though, excited too.. 22 weeks blitzen that's nice, that's a lovely stage of pregnancy isn't it xx

@Thethreeandme hi sorry I haven't been on in a while! I'm ok thanks. How are you getting on? Hope your pregnancy is running smoothly. Have you had your 12 week scan yet?
Nothing has changed for me pregnancy wise unfortunately ☹️ I'm on cycle 10 now. My husband has been to the doctors and he is doing his sperm analysis this week so we should get the results of that towards the end of next week. I haven't been yet but will probably go once we have his results x

@lavenderlove god nervous times for you both then, hope all goes well with his results. It's such a difficult time , the memory hasn't faded. I'm ok now 17 weeks 12 week scan went fine . Just trying to get a hold of my hormones I feel so irritable all of the time it's really annoying just can't seem to switch it off xx
