Anyone else waiting to test?

I'm 8DPO today and am probably going to test on Thursday (trying to hold off until then anyway!)
Anyone else planning to test around that time? I have a 10 day LP so testing then should give me warning about whether AF is coming or not.
I'm obsessively symptom spotting even though I'm aware that pre AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are pretty much the same at this point.
It'll be DC3 for us if all goes well but I'm still just as excitable TTC this time around

It's really difficult not to! I swear time slows down at this point in the cycle as well.

Hello @BeeKeeping! I didn't get a positive until 12DPO with DS2, so I reckon you've still got hope yet. Fx for you!
It took nearly 18 months each for my last two 😬 I wasn't ovulating though (I have PCOS). DS1 took 3 round of clomid and then with DS2 I was on metformin, stuck to a low GI diet and had acupuncture. I'm ovulating fairly regularly now though so hoping it doesn't take quite as long!

haha @NoseringGirl it really does! Were just lucky we don't have to wait 2 weeks I suppose, when are you going to test? I had what looks like an implantation dip yesterday and it rise up again this morning, not sure whats going on. I just think I've my hopes up now and set for disappointment.

Can i join please! I'm 7dpo and desparate to test!! Trying to wait until sat but no doubt I'll cave early!

@Tinker315b hopefully that implantation dip is a good sign! I'm trying to hold out until Thursday when I'm due on but might crack and test Wednesday!

Of course you can @Prembabymum! Good luck with holding out, the temptation to test early usually gets too much for me. I probably won't be a good influence

Took an ic today as i'm in spain i have a clear blue digital i am going to wait until after i'm late to use my clear blue digital

@winterwarmers I don't want to get your hopes up but I think I see a line on that ic. I have been wrong in the past about my own tests though; keep us posted!

@noseringgirl when I say I'm nkt testing I may or may not include ics in that! I dont even count them as testing these days because I do so many of them! Keeping my frers for when I see a hint of something! It's such a horrid waiting game!

Haha @Prembabymum I like your style!! I also save FRERs and mostly use ICs. Digitals are only ever for special occasions 🤣

@calmisthemantra I can see a hint on the bottom one... I'm terrible for line eyes though! Anyone else see it? What's it like in real life?

I'm jumping on this post too as desperate to test again (it's so hard to hold off isn't it!!) I took one this morning but a line showed after the 10 min window so probably counts as invalid so I'm desperate to test again arghh

I'm 9dpo and I can never wait so I seem to find myself testing from 8dpo each cycle on ics not even a squinter so far.
Think I'll test with frer on Thursday, I'll be 12dpo so if that's negative I'll bow out for the month.

I'm 9dpo as well and planning on testing on Thursday - was going to wait until Friday but it seems so far away so have already moved it forward one day.. have a couple of ICs so will start on them before the FRERs.

@Tinker315b I had the same thing with my temp - dropped 0.5 degrees yesterday and back up today, so am of course telling myself it was an implantation dip. However last month I was convinced I had implantation bleeding and it was just a really early AF, so I feel a bit silly obsessing over all these details
