Anyone else waiting to test?

I'm 8DPO today and am probably going to test on Thursday (trying to hold off until then anyway!)
Anyone else planning to test around that time? I have a 10 day LP so testing then should give me warning about whether AF is coming or not.
I'm obsessively symptom spotting even though I'm aware that pre AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are pretty much the same at this point.
It'll be DC3 for us if all goes well but I'm still just as excitable TTC this time around

It's virtually impossible not to obsess over the details. It's especially frustrating when pregnancy symptoms this early are pretty much identical to the symptoms before AF. That goes for chart patterns as well.

As I just said on the June bus, I'll blatantly be testing tomorrow and being disappointed because I'll only be 9DPO and it's almost certainly too early.
We've only just started trying this time. I spent some time earlier reading back some of my old posts on another forum of when we were TTC DS1. It was so sad to see how upset and hopeless I was getting month after month. I wish I could go back and tell myself not to worry so much! Yet here I am, obsessing for the third time round
I'll never be one of those people that can be laid back about TTC. I tried to be the first time but got sucked in quickly and never got back out again! I quite enjoy it all now though, like a really bizarre hobby

@prembabymum I’m also 7dpo and testing saturday!

@Tinker315b AF should be due on Monday if I carry on with the 27 day cycle pattern I've had the past few months. I've been trying altogether 13 months but I had a mc at 6 weeks in September so 9 months, really thought I'd be pregnant again by now.

@mostimproved hi! I managed to follow SMEP again this month minus the day on the end after the day break after the three days because I'm really run down with a cold and just want sleep haha

@NoseringGirl i also looked at my posts from ttc dd and saw how obsesssd i became i can't be laid back i need to be able to know where i am, this month i havnt tracked because i'm on holiday

today's test and i think i can see something...., can anyone else

As predicted I was silly enough to test this morning at 9DPO. There's an indent on the test that looked like a possible faint line and got my hopes up but nothing shows up on the photo. Will try again tomorrow!

I have completely surprised myself by NOT testing this morning 🙌🏻 Unusual self control 😇 although now I’m excited about going home and testing after work 👹

AF due tomorrow as I have a 12 day luteal phase. 🤞 hoping the witch stays away ❌🧙‍♀️

No signs of cramping which is getting my hopes up...

hi all, would love to join you. I'm 11-12dpo, will be testing tomorrow but I have felt really strange for about a week. Sore boobs, all dairy tastes rancid, feeling nauseous. The nausea I am half inclined to put down to the heat though. Something's going on, but no idea if it's down to pg or not.

I'm feeling sick and have had an upset stomach. It's more than likely a bug but I'm really hopeful it's an early symptom. My sickness didn't kick in until about 6-7 weeks with DS1 but was immediate with DS2.
Even if it is a stomach bug, at least it's less unpleasant when I can convince myself it's pregnancy related!

I’m 10dpo today and just got a positive this morning Hoping it’s ok, but will do another one tomorrow morning just to be 100% sure

You’re making me want to test 😖 pros and cons are spinning round my head! I’ve bought some frers on special offer... so they were only £3 odd each.

Testing now= putting my mind at rest. Might be a bfp, if not might make the inevitable AF easier.

Testing tomorrow = more accurate results, if AF shows not wasting money on bloody tests.

What do you think ladies? (I’m holding my wee just in case..) 🐝x

Thank you @BeeKeeping I just knew something was up, I have a 10 day LP and usually by 8dpo im spotting and still have none and temp was still up this morning so said to myself last night if my temp was still up I would test! I just hope its true. usually I never test and just wait for AF! So AF is due tomorrow for you? x

Interesting @Tinker315b I do think if this is not my month then temping might be the way to go. Just a wee early warning before AF/BFP... did you orally temp in the morning?

Yeah due tomorrow... not sure weather to be patient or waste a frer 🐝x

@BeeKeeping I would just wait if it was me, you only have a day to wait! Yea I tempted orally, I actually was for giving it up and then I needed day 21 bloods repeated at the doctor so had to temp to get the day right. Good luck for tomorrow x

The sensible thing to do @BeeKeeping is to wait until the morning for a more accurate result. So of course I would be peeing on a stick right now

oooh @tinker315b, that is so exciting! congratulations! @beekeeping I'm so tempted to POAS this afternoon too, but we must resist! A BFN today won't allay any uncertainty, I'd just have to test again in the morning anyway.

I’m feeling sick and dizzy but it’s probably the weather more than anything, although I do remember feeling like this with my last pregnancy but probably not this early. Also haven’t had my usual pre-AF chocolate craving - in fact I’m really off my food which is definitely not like me! But again could just be down to this heat.

I’m trying to stay positive whatever the outcome is - if I do get AF tomorrow at least my cycle has been 26 days rather than only 21 last cycle, so my body is sort of behaving!

Ok so what I said about waiting to test; total fail!! And now here I am, delaying going for a run by instead staring at this morning's 8dpo frer and willing a line to appear! There's no second line there right? I know its silly early too; can't seem to learn my lesson!!

I'm 9-10 dpo, had a really sharp pinch sort of pain for 20 seconds or so today and then dark brown spotting a couple of hours later. AF not due until Monday so I'm hopeful despite not having bleeding with Ds.

@mostimproved I've been feeling similar and wondering if it's the heat and humidity!

@Changingagain I had spotting a couple of days before testing positive with DS2 but didn't notice anything like that with DS1. Hope it's a good sign for you!

Well I feel a bit of an idiot. I was going with my app thinking AF is due on Monday without realising it had been confused be an unusually long cycle I had last month. So AF is actually due anytime now, which is a more likely explanation for the spotting. Tested anyway this morning and BFN.

On the plus side, I've remembered how much I hate the boots tests. Tiny little window so it's really difficult to find an angle without shadow lines, why would they design them like that?

So based on my app, I'm a day late.
But my last Period, I can't be sure if that was real or a withdrawal bleed from the pill. Nor can I be sure that I have a 28 day cycle either. I always used to have.
So should I test or should I wait until after the weekend?
If I do test, what test should I buy?

Hi everyone! I’m 12DPO, second month of trying for DC2. Was tricky first time round (over active immune system), and now we are trying without meds, so may be foolish anyway. But worth a go! POAS this morning, and have been squinting ever since. Can anyone help me out here? Is there anything there or is it the indentation from the test? I forgot how impatient I am. AF due tomorrow (although I’m mighty irregular)
