Anyone else waiting to test?

I'm 8DPO today and am probably going to test on Thursday (trying to hold off until then anyway!)
Anyone else planning to test around that time? I have a 10 day LP so testing then should give me warning about whether AF is coming or not.
I'm obsessively symptom spotting even though I'm aware that pre AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are pretty much the same at this point.
It'll be DC3 for us if all goes well but I'm still just as excitable TTC this time around

Sorry for the BFN @Changingagain! Maybe they design them like that so people aren't sure and have to buy more tests

I would test now @Doglady28! FRER are good but once AF is late, any test should show positive if you're pregnant.

I tested again this morning and can maybe see something? I'm probably just being hopeful and imagining it. Only 10DPO so will try again tomorrow when AF is due.

I see a line too Avlev and I normally can't when everyone else is saying they can!

Are first response tests good enough that you can do them any time of day, or is first thing in the morning still best?

So last night I had the tiniest bit of spotting; as in about 2 drops. I'm 9dpo so its either implantation bleeding of af starting early. I didnt get implantation bleeding in my last pregnancy though so dont know if it's likely to be that. Although if it was only the tiniest amount I may have just not noticed it! No sign of any more bleeding since so fingers x!!

@avlev I definitely see it, how exciting!

@NoseringGirl I’m the same this morning, tested with an IC and think I can possibly see something but it might be my eyes deceiving me. Might crack open the FRER tomorrow if no AF.

@Changingagain I'd still use them first thing in the morning as your urine is more concentrated. Once you're past your AF date though, you'd probably still get a positive during the day (in my experience anyway!)

@Prembabymum sounds positive! I noticed implantation bleeding in my second pregnancy (two days before a positive test) but didn't notice any in my first.

@mostimproved hope it's clearer for us both tomorrow! I'm wishing the day away already just so I can test again!

As I have to wait until tomorrow to test now, I am madly squinting at pics of this morning’s IC. Does anyone think they see anything or am I in cloud cuckoo land?

I'm even more of an idiot, my app was right to start with and AF shouldn't be around until Monday, which means I'm still early for testing anyway and there's hope it could be implantation bleeding. This is only our first cycle really trying this time, DS took a year and I'd forgotten how obsessed and scatty I become when TTC

@changingagain I always go with first thing in the morning, however tempting it is to do one mid afternoon (evening.... night.....)

Hi ladies so done 4 tests last night and 2 this morning and got a clear positive, I hope you all aren't far behind me .

Thanks all, I feel stupid now as when I look at it on here it looks negative but looks different in real life somehow. Will test tomorrow and hopefully get a clearer answer.

Congratulations for those with clear bfp and tentative congratulations for all the squinty squinters!

I had a snowy white bfn and some spotting so I think at 13dpo I can bow out. My husband said lots of encouraging things this morning and is determined to make next month count so that’s good news!

He had a funny analogy about being on ‘a journey’. I rolled my eyes and said I don’t want to be on a bloody long journey! But he went on to explain that yeah, it is a bit of a shit journey actually; where the car is too hot, and the radio won’t play, there’s loads of traffic, smoke coming out of the bonnet, and we missed the bloody turn off again.....

But we always enjoy going places together. And we get to watch love island on the way 😂

He has a way with words... not! But it did cheer me up.

@NoseringGirl yep that looks suitably confusing - I'm seeing lines on everything so can't even tell anymore, but hopefully you get a better one tomorrow - are you going to do another IC tomorrow?

@mostimproved I think I'll probably just do another IC but may also do a FRER depending on the result/how obsessive I'm feeling how about you?

I'm still feeling really sick and dizzy but am getting some cramping now as well. Still swinging wildly between being hopeful and just thinking I'm ill as well as about to get AF.

@NoseringGirl I have one IC and two FRERs - if I don't get AF tomorrow then I think I am justified in breaking open a FRER. I need to know before Saturday as I will be out for dinner and it is very unlike me to refuse a glass of wine!

@BeeKeeping I like the analogy, will keep it in mind if I need some cheering up this month!

I've just gone and bought some FRER in my lunch break and will try and resist using one until the morning too bloody expensive to waste. What are the IC s that keep being mentioned?
