I'm 8DPO today and am probably going to test on Thursday (trying to hold off until then anyway!)
Anyone else planning to test around that time? I have a 10 day LP so testing then should give me warning about whether AF is coming or not.
I'm obsessively symptom spotting even though I'm aware that pre AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are pretty much the same at this point.
It'll be DC3 for us if all goes well but I'm still just as excitable TTC this time around Blush

@Beekeeping I did SMEP this month and tracked temp and CM and used OPKs - I felt it made me feel more in control of the process and the temping really helps confirm you ovulated. I thought everyone did these things when ttc these days to be honest, nothing extreme about it!

BeeKeeping · 23/06/2018 17:41

I wonder if the difference is being on mumsnet? Makes tracking seem much more mainstream? Although if you were undergoing tests for fertility and asking about IVF you would think the dr would want to know that you’ve tried everything first?! Crazy.

I popped into my local pharmacy to buy a thermometer but think I’ve got the wrong type as it only measures to 1 decimal place. Any recommendations for good ones? Also surprised they didn’t sell mooncups. And stocked up on litres of canisten as my fanny is on fire 😫 which would be a disaster for ttc this month.

If you search BBT thermometer on amazon there's a few on there, quite cheap too! It needs to be two decimal places so it picks up some thermal shifts.

Hey everyone. So im now 6 days late and no BFP but I've only been using IC
Should I get a FRER or should I accept that it's negative? Just want AF to arrive!!!

mostimproved · 24/06/2018 15:54

@Doglady28 I would say get a FRER to put your mind at ease, they are much better than the ICs.

mumontherunnn · 24/06/2018 21:31

Yup @Doglady28 I would go for a frer too, just to be sure.

mumontherunnn · 24/06/2018 21:36

AF due tomorrow, I know the witch is on her way, I have consumed my body weight in chocolate today and felt like ripping everyone's head off Blush.

So I have been trying to convince myself that a summer baby is the way to go so that should hopefully keep me sane for a while 🙈.

Why would you NOT temp? I find that a bit weird, unless you have clockwork cycles or crack ovulation you would think you would either be dtd every single day (sod that!) or get your timing right by tracking O

mumontherunnn · 26/06/2018 12:23

@Doglady28 how did you get on with frer?
Crossing myfingers for you.

I'm Defo out now WineThanksCake

Melbabes6 · 26/06/2018 15:05

Can't decide if there's a faint line or not Hmm 9dpo

How does a frer compare to one step!?

Anyone else waiting to test?
BeeKeeping · 26/06/2018 17:03

I think the one step measure HcG that’s 10 miu or above and the FRER are 6.3.. so definitely more sensitive. I can’t see anything on that picture but I am squinting in the sunshine! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🐝x

Doglady28 · 28/06/2018 06:31

Hi all, didn't need the FRER as AF turned up. I'm ok with that thoigh ad I can now start to track my cycle properly. Hope you are all well. Let's see what July/August
brings xxx

HidCat · 28/06/2018 07:08

Hi ladies, 6dpo here. Holding out to test til 10dpo at least. Last pregnancy got my bfp at 10dpo so thought that's worth a try.

@Melbabes6 I can't see anything but it's still early so fx it changes to positive for you.

@Doglady28 and @mumontherunnn sorry you're out this month.

@BeeKeeping fair play to your friend for being chilled out enough not to track for 4 years! Most people I know go nuts within about 3 cycles. Hope ivf goes well for her.

mumontherunnn · 02/07/2018 21:14

I STILL have AF the bitch will just not FO!! Aaarrrrgggghhhh

I actually went to the go today to ask to get bloods done as my opks, temps, cycles and AF are all over the place sigh

Never mind, my lucky DH will just need to put up with dtd every other day all month just in case 😂.

Bought some preseed this month and was reading that robutisin cough syrup can help with cm - any other weird and wacky things going on n your households this month?

NoseringGirl · 02/07/2018 22:25

I tried the cough syrup (well I managed to get it in pill form) a couple of months ago and it just made me smell weird! I didn't notice a difference in CM but I know a lot of people swear by it! I think the dose needs to be quite high though.

OP posts:
mumontherunnn · 02/07/2018 22:29

Haha oh god @NoseringGirl I don't want to smell weird or end up a cough syrup addict 🙈😂

The things we do and our babies will never know how crazy we got just so they could be here.

NoseringGirl · 02/07/2018 23:40

Oh I plan to tell my lot at length about the struggles I had TTC them, carrying them and birthing them. They will hear all about my suffering 🤣

mumontherunnn · 25/07/2018 08:57
