Also hello, @TwittleBee! Sorry to hear that ttc was so stressful for you. When do you think you'll try again?

cupcakesandglitter · 18/08/2018 10:34

@dottydally hope you're okay x I second the others that TTC is stressful. It makes you obsessive, observant, impatient and the symptom spotting is the WORST!! Your time will come for your BFP when you want it xx

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever 11 weeks 😦 that's gone bloody fast!! How are you? XX

rollerskaterdata · 18/08/2018 11:17

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever hope you're doing well hun? I can't believe you're 11 weeks already! Let us know how you get on at your 12 week scan! Xx

TwittleBee · 18/08/2018 13:42

Jelliestogether that was same as us, DS was a lovely surprise and was conceived on only time we were careless (too much wine and being on holiday lol). So assumed #2 would be easy.

dottydally oh bless you, is such a strange mix of emotions. Just remember that it wasn't the right time but soon it will be Flowers

PastaSauceHoarder hello Smile well we are wanting to wait till December but we keep talking about how we might start in October. December be better for finances and my job.

How's everyone today?

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 18/08/2018 13:58

@rollerskaterdata Yeah, it took me a week to test positive so I'd definitely keep testing until AF turns up. I can't believe I'm 11 weeks either! I didn't find out til 6/7 weeks though. I've got my scan on Friday so I'll definitely let you all know how it goes xx
@cupcakesandglitter I'm really good thank you. I'm constantly knackered with the occasional bout of nausea but apart from that, really good 😊 x

PastaSauceHoarder · 18/08/2018 16:20

Oh @AssumeItWasSomethingClever, how exciting!! Can't believe you'll be going to your 12 week scan, bloody hell the time really has gone quickly.

Like many others with little ones on this thread, my toddler was also a happy surprise. Smile Husband seems to think that means we'll be able to conceive our second in super quick time - I'm wishing more than anything for that to be the case but no-one really knows do they. 😣

How old is your son, @TwittleBee? Theres quite a few of us waiting until the winter to start ttc.

How is everyone else doing? Personally I am counting down the days until its September, because we definitely DO NOT want to fall pregnant then - I'm hoping it'll push all pregnancy and newborn thoughts out of my head, knowing that I can't do anything about them (if that makes sense at all?).

TwittleBee · 18/08/2018 20:10

PastaSauceHoarder so hope that it is easy for you again! How old is your toddler? Mine is 14 months. How comes September is certainly a bad time for you?

cupcakesandglitter · 18/08/2018 20:25

Oh good @AssumeItWasSomethingClever super happy for you xx

OP posts:
PastaSauceHoarder · 18/08/2018 20:34

Snap @TwittleBee!! My little girl is 14 months too! Smile
And we don't want to conceive in September/October because we want to avoid potentially having another June baby.

TwittleBee · 18/08/2018 20:55

PastaSauceHoarder ah see I kinda want another summer baby! That's why I'm tempted to kick start it before December! It's wanting to be in my new job a full year before heading off to mat leave that's making me feel the need to stick it out (and finances too tbh as just bought out first house). You wanting a August/ September baby then?

cupcakesandglitter · 18/08/2018 21:14

I'm out this month I think. Just gone to the loo and there's the tiniest couple of pink dots (think this counts as spotting even though it's barely anything?) put it into Flo and it changed my ovulation day to yesterday so we won't have caught it 😩

OP posts:
PastaSauceHoarder · 18/08/2018 21:20

Yeah @TwittleBee, an August/September baby would be great for our family (spreads us out a little!). Totally get what you mean about the mat pay, we've had quite a few ladies on this thread waiting for the same reason. Congratulations on your new house though! Smile Are you all settled in now?

PastaSauceHoarder · 18/08/2018 21:22

Oh dear @cupcakesandglitter, are you definitely due AF? Flowers

rollerskaterdata · 18/08/2018 22:21

@cupcakesandglitter when is AF due? Could it be implantation spotting? You're not out until AF comes! Fx for you hun xx

@TwittleBee congrats on the house purchase, I'm literally on the tail end now of buying our first house! Can't wait to move in and oh my gosh spending so much money!

cupcakesandglitter · 18/08/2018 22:25

Hi all sorry, I'm due AF around 29th/30th so I have two weeks... I had a feeling I ovulated early (but that's just a feeling) so I have zero idea what's going on 🤷🏻‍♀️ just back to the dreaded TWW xx

OP posts:
cupcakesandglitter · 18/08/2018 22:25

But I went and bought ten pg tests today not crazy at all

OP posts:
rollerskaterdata · 18/08/2018 22:33

@cupcakesandglitter lol not crazy at all, I went and bought 4 tests (2 FRERs and 2 CBDs) before I even started this cycle! 😂

rollerskaterdata · 18/08/2018 22:34

I'm hoping the 28th comes fast because I literally cannot wait to POAS...I'm so excited we're all doing it the same day!

PastaSauceHoarder · 18/08/2018 22:59

Trying not to get your hopes up @cupcakesandglitter, but before I found out for certain that I was pregnant with my girl I had a small pink implantation bleed - it was about two weeks before I was due to come on. @rollerskaterdata is right, you're not out until AF comes!

cupcakesandglitter · 19/08/2018 00:42

@rollerskaterdata @PastaSauceHoarder thankyou ladies, it's reassuring (but then I think I'm sooo scared of being disappointed)

I can't wait to test on the 28th though!! So lovely xx

OP posts:
TwittleBee · 19/08/2018 07:27

PastaSauceHoarder blimey do you have quite a long luteal phase then? I've a shorter one at 11 days but managed to lengthen it to 12 when I started taking B vits.

cupcakesandglitter good luck! Also not crazy, I'm sure most have been there haha. I know I have 😂 gonna try hard not to this time round of TTC.

cupcakesandglitter · 19/08/2018 07:42

@TwittleBee let me know how that goes, best of luck Wink xx

OP posts:
PastaSauceHoarder · 19/08/2018 09:45

@TwittleBee I'm gonna be a right numpty now and ask what exactly the luteal phase is? I did Google it but I'm still not 100% - is it the time between the day you ovulate and the first day of your period? Confused

TwittleBee · 19/08/2018 11:18

cupcakesandglitter bearing in mind I still POAS probably once every now when we aren't even trying (doing the old pull out method as fricking hate condoms and we both said it wouldn't be terrible if an accident happened) I can't imagine I'll be able to restrain from buying big packs of FRERs when we properly start TTC haha

PastaSauceHoarder haha no worries, I didn't know all the stuff (and still dont) till we started TTC and it was about 4th month in lol. Erm so yeah luteal phase is bit between ovulation and period usually 2 weeks long (aka the TWW on MN) and is consistent in length between woman to woman. So if you had implantation bleeding 2 weeks prior your period due that would suggest that you must have a long luteal phase as implantation usually happens around 10 days into luteal phase. If that makes sense. Either that or it was ovulation bleeding or you ovulated very early that cycle so period due date wasn't that far? Think I've got that right haha.

PastaSauceHoarder · 19/08/2018 12:02

Oh gosh @TwittleBee, I have no idea! I'm going to have to start paying more attention to myself. 😂
I'd never had an ovulation bleed before so I just assumed it was implantation. Between my last positive OPK and my first period since coming off contraception there was only twelve days though... That seems very short? Gahh I don't know! Thanks for explaining it though. Smile
