Hello again! Hopefully I've remembered everyone - apologies if I haven't, get tagging!

@cupcakesandglitter pretty rubbish I know it'll wear off but it's just one of those moments where I wonder why I'm waiting. I mean, rationally, I know why, but I feel like I'm torturing myself by looking at baby things when it's so far off! That said, I'm an obsessive over planner, so I do enjoy looking at things...

Just catching up- been out cycling today with the parents in law- neither of us can now walk as we are not used to cycling!
Still it was good exercise and we haven't eaten all day as parents in law just keep going without stopping!
Just got home - basically been out all weekend and feeling shattered- there's a whole heap of washing for me to do and I have no work trousers for tomorrow so that could be interesting...

Great news that more are starting to ttc now :)

@dottydally I’m not sure whether the implant was entirely to blame; I’ve got a six month old so maybe it was just motherhood, but I felt like it was getting a bit ridiculous...! DH has been very patient, poor thing. Hopefully matters will improve, but now obviously I keep wondering about getting pregnant again. Looked at natural family planning, but apparently “you know what they call people who use NFP? Parents!”

@Goostacean good that your DH has been so lovely but it does sound frustrating for you!

No experience of NFP (yet) so I can't help, but I have just started using natural cycles. We are using it together with condoms for now whilst it gets used to things. Plan is to give up the condoms when it would be okay if I got pregnant. Ideally we would wait a bit longer than that but wouldn't be worried if it happened - apparently you can also use natural cycles when TTC, so I'm keeping that in mind too.

What contraception are you going to use between now and next July?

@Pinkroseuk Well done on all the cycling! Who needs trousers anyway?! Skirts and dresses are just as good!

We've had a couple of instances where we have used condoms but not the whole way through iyswim. So I'm finding myself panicking that it could have happened, very unlikely but still at the back of my mind! Cursing my lack of self control

@cupcakesandglitter ooooh we are definitely cycle buddies then, I'm on CD6 today so you're a day ahead of me. This is so exciting! Do you roughly know when you ovulate? I don't use OPKs but 'feel' ovulation every cycle and also get an abundance of EWCM a few days before and just after which matches my dates in Flo so I'll be using that!

@dottydally that must be really tough for you, it really wasn't that long ago I was in the same position and questioning my resolve. I had to stop looking at baby things and dropped off MN for a short while to keep my sanity! Is it long before you stop being careful but not trying? If not that might make the wait easier?

@Goostacean I'm glad to hear your knee is feeling better! Do you think you won't try but also won't prevent now?

@PastaSauceHoarder I wish I had stopped taking my pill before ttc. You have gone about it in a good way. Now you will know your body well enough to get strlarted. Good luck for November 😊.

@rollerskaterdata okay I've just looked at Flo and it turns out I am CD6 today, so we're the same!! I have zero idea when I ovulate 😂 I didn't have much luck with OPKs, so I'm just entering my temp on Flo and watching it alter. Although I haven't been temping at the same time every morning because I wake up and completely different times throughout the week because of work 😩

I do get cramping, but I don't really get much CM really, no EWCM I don't think I've had it since I was on the implant x

Oh @dottydally, how frustrating it must be for you! Is there anything you could throw yourself into as a distraction, like a project or something along those lines? Its not everyones cup of tea yet but personally I'm getting all my Christmas shopping sorted (its driving dh mad ).
Also did you do your first temp tracking this morning?

@cupcakesandglitter that's exactly the reason I don't temp, I never wake up at the same time every morning and have no plans to either so it's pointless for me really! I've decide to use a clear blue ovulation monitor from next cycle onwards if we don't catch this cycle, I won't this cycle only because ovulation is predicted to fall during my holiday and I refuse to get obsessed POAS while I'm supposed to be relaxing! I know what I'm like, I'll get obsessed and completely miss out on just unwinding and enjoying my hols!

@Tash32 I came off the pill at the beginning of July and yet to get a period. I've been tracking temp and app suggested I ovulated around CD10-12 but no period and I'm now on CD32. Took a test last week just to be sure and was negative so think it's just my hormones settling back in. All I can say is that I'm in the same boat and also wish I'd come off sooner! Fingers crossed for us both that AF appears soon and we can stop guessing what are bodies are doing!

Pasta I am glad there is another Christmas nut on the thread. I love it! I have got 6 peoples presents sorted already. Have you seen reasties Christmas bargain thread that she dose every year. It is great.

@jxtina86 hi 👋. It’s so frustrating isn’t it. I wish I had done a little more research instead of just assuming. We’ve just been waiting to be in a good place to provide etc and maybe taken for granted how long (if at all) things may take.

But thank you for replying it’s always good to have someone to talk to about it. I hope it comes soon for us both 🤞🤞. I am away next week so was hoping to see any signs at all before then! Xx

Brilliant, @springsummerautumnwinter! I'd go as far as to say I'm slightly obsessed with Christmas. I'm so excited for this year because my little one will be 18 months old and should be running around and ripping the paper off her presents and eating a proper mini Christmas dinner. ❤

I did! I took my temperature as soon as I woke up and was 35.84 degrees. I'm excited to get a graph!

@cupcakesandglitter if there isn't much of a discrepancy in the times you wake up every day maybe it'll still work for you? I wake up at wildly different times most days (I don't sleep well in general) so I know for me it's utterly pointless 😂

I have no idea how many DPO I am or if I've even ovulated. My chart is so weird this month. FF hasn't given me crosshairs but my temps have been steadily rising. Been getting cramps but no bleeding so I stupidly did one of those IC tests I have so many of, there's a faint second line but I think it's probably just an indent or evap. Going to get a FRER.

This is the madness you all have ahead of you 😂

@rollerskaterdata exactly the same here, it ranges from 4am - 10am 😂 and also most nights I get around 3/4 hours sleep so it's not the best. I really struggle to sleep too surprising because I literally love sleeping

@cupcakesandglitter I honestly don't know! I've been charting for years and have two kids and I still don't know what I'm looking at with this chart! I just think I'm a good example of why obsessive charting shows you less than just taking a casual approach 😂

I wake up anywhere between 8:30am - 9:30am, so would it be worth me temping?

@cupcakesandglitter omg we're sleep twins! It makes no sense to me either because I love sleep too (when I get it) it just seems to elude me! So jealous of DH, he literally falls asleep within seconds (and the whole neighbourhood can hear it!)

@NoseringGirl Fx this is your month! I am soooooo impatiently waiting for my fertile window right now - I was impatiently waiting to TTC and now I'm impatiently TTC! 😂
