Congratulations! So excited for you. 10th of March! Great to have a date in mind you will have a little squidgy baby for the spring. How are you going to tell you partner. I remember he wanted to be told after test.

@springsummerautumnwinter. Thank you 😊 I have no idea how I’m going to tell him. He wants me to surprise him and doesn’t want me “to just blurt it out or throw a pissy stick” at him. We’re at a family bbq today so there’s not really time to tell him today. I’m dying to though!!

@jelliestogether. I’m trying really hard to hide my ridiculously massive grin. I think he knows because I’ve offered to drive to the bbq and he gave me a look from the corner of his eye. I think I’m going to pop to next to get a baby grow with I love my daddy or something on it. I’m so unoriginal that I can’t think of any good ideas!

I like that idea @AssumeItWasSomethingClever or ask him to make you a cuppa or bring you a biscuit or something because the baby really fancies one 😊

Thanks @cupcakesandglitter. I saw an idea of making a breakfast of egg and soldiers but cutting the soldiers into sperm shapes. That made me laugh but I don’t know if it’s to cringey/graphic. 😂😂

We already have the print attached but without the baby hand. I have a spare frame in the hallway, so I'm gonna put this print in and see how long it takes him to realise 😂

My friend filmed her husband's reaction - she put the positive test on the table before he got in and when he walked through the door he saw them and his reaction was just lovely! Made me well up!

Thanks all. So I popped out to the shops today and got a baby grow from next with two little giraffes on it saying "daddy and me". I then made him fried egg with toast in the shape of sperm. He just jumped up and proper bear hugged me and said "are you?! Are you really?!" We laughed at the toast that looked like the toaster had mangled it. 😂 Then he got the baby grow out and I cried. I've got a doctors appointment on Thursday to confirm the pregnancy and see where we go from here!
I suppose I should probably leave this thread but do you all mind if I continue to lurk around?

Regarding your appointment - you might want to phone your surgery and check who does the booking in appointment. With DD I made an appointment with my GP and his response was "congratulations.... why are you here? Are you hoping for a termination?" Apparently it was the midwife that I was supposed to see for the booking in appointment, so I had to make another appointment.

What a lovely way to tell him :-D hoping for lots of similarly gorgeous stories on this thread in the fullness of time
