@weasledee I count the day after as ovulation so CD11 for you so CD12 will be 1dpo (you could obviously ovulate the day before or after but on average I think it's the day after)

littleemma1 · 05/06/2018 05:12

I am trying to be in a good place but it is hard. I have good moments and bad moments which I think is only natural. I think dates will be the hardest as because of my PCOS they got us booked in with the midwife on the Monday who sorted us out with appointments there and then. 25th June would’ve been 8/9w appointment and 9th July was going to be the 12w scan.
A good friend (who knew what I was going through) told me she was pregnant 2 days after I started miscarrying, so every time she mentions her pregnancy I get a pang and upset because I would be exactly a week in front 😩 but I’m not so I just have to get on with it!
What does help is that I’m getting married on 7th July so it’s giving me something to focus on 😬😬😬 although it also makes me sad that I’ll be able to drink and won’t be announcing our pregnancy but I try not to think of it that way xxx

@maxiflump1 ah, at least it wasn't some horrible troll. That's the last thing these boards need.

@KnitKitty I didn't do anything in particular. It took me over 3 months of hospital visits to be clear of the MC and 4 mths to get my period so once I'd finished with that first cycle post MC I just felt relieved to be past it. I think it was time as the main factor and then the relief that we can at least start again. I'm glad your work colleagues are supportive. Mine were too and it made a massive difference. I do have odd days where something will trigger me but I don't feel as down about it anymore.

@littleemma1 I hope your MC doesn't take the shine off your wedding day. Getting past the appointments will be hard, I also found the 20wk mark difficult but after that it wasn't as bad as I couldn't remember the appointment schedule. I've booked 2 weeks off around my EDD though as I know it will hit me again.

We'll I'm officially out. The cramps have eased and period has kicked in. I'm grateful that it's on time as I was worried about irregular cycles after the MC but this is reassuring. Hubby was a bit disappointed bless him until I pointed out we get to have lots of sex this month too! Just waiting for my BBT thermometer to confirm ovulation but aside from using what I have left I won't order any more OPKs and will try to chill out a bit and JKS lol.

Boboelephant · 05/06/2018 08:33

Ahh I just wrote a long message and website crashed!! Bugger!!! I don't have time to write a long one now but hugs to everyone who needs them. You are not alone. We have all felt the same. Time is a wonderful healer as is therapy!
@HidCat so sorry af arrived. Fx for this month!
@zarala and @DaisyMay25 so glad all is well!! Fx for babies soon!!!!!
@BabynameEdie hello!!! How are you??? I am cd19 here and pretty sure I ovulated yesterday. Been a bit weird. My opk was glaring positive at 4am yesterday- test line darker than control line and much much lighter this morning- also at 4am. My ewcm has dried up today and my temp has been rising and today is higher than others but is still pretty low. Only 36.27 today- usually goes up to 36.4. I'll post chart and opks. If appreciate your thoughts- you too @Cakelaur xx

KnitKitty · 05/06/2018 08:35

littleemma1 congratulations on getting married! It's good to have something to look forward to and focus your attention on. Yes, it's completely normal to have good and bad days. Just ride the waves.

Hidcat glad the pains have eased. Hope AF is kind to you this month. I've not really had any pain but it's quite heavy. Looking forward to a new cycle. Glad to have a cycle buddy.

Question for you guys. I bled on Saturday (though not a lot, just enough to make a mess of my knickers, but after that it stopped again), Sunday I only had a very small amount of brown spotting, and then yesterday I had a full flow. What should I count as CD1? Is it as soon as any blood shows (ie Saturday) or would it be yesterday when it started in earnest?

Boboelephant · 05/06/2018 08:39

@BabynameEdie and @Cakelaur thoughts please! Do you agree ov was cd18?
Sorry for dodgy screenshot. I can't get onto ff properly for some reason.

@weasledee I agree with Daisy. Count cd11 as ov, cd12 as 1dpo.
@KnitKitty they say cd1 is the day of your heavy flow so I would count yesterday as cd1.

Cakelaur · 05/06/2018 09:30

@Boboelephant omg your chart looks amazing!!! Yup I'd poss say ov cd16 with slow rise but if the opks were + then go with 18 cos then you'll be playing safe! I would go one more time JUST to be sure. But I imagine FF will confirm ov tomorrow. This has GOT to be your month!!! Even if only for your efforts!! Eek!!

weasledee · 05/06/2018 09:32

Ok ladies so that's makes me 9DPO....
Going to try and resist a frer till Thursday......

weasledee · 05/06/2018 09:52

Looking at my temps my temp dropped on the Saturday (day 11) so I think you're all correct Smile

Boboelephant · 05/06/2018 10:45

Thanks @Cakelaur!!! I hope so!! 🤞🤞🤞 Haha i said to DH this morning are you up for one more this evening just to end out the marathon? He grinned like a Cheshire cat and high fived me so number 12 is on!

DaisyMay25 · 05/06/2018 12:17

@Boboelephant we start trying this cycle today, I told DH about your marathon and I saw a look of panic in his eyes! Four days in a row was enough for him last cycle! I really hope this is your month!

@weasledee fx for the test on Thursday!

@Cakelaur I'm looking forward to scan pictures tomorrow!! Will be thinking of you all morning

Cakelaur · 05/06/2018 13:18

@DaisyMay25 I'll defo post a pic then. I bought a Doppler for home cos I started to get nervous and heard an amazing heartbeat!! I cry every time I listen to it!! I'm such an emotional pregnant mess!!! Haha

Pancakes7 · 05/06/2018 13:19

Bleeding has stopped again last 2 days. It's now 11 days since smm. Did a cheap strip test and still a very pale positive. Hating waiting. I just want to ttc now! But I guess I should wait for a negative result first? Did you all wait? I'm not waiting for af as I just want to try asap. Also I hear after mc/mmc you're super fertile? Fx I am!

Pancakes7 · 05/06/2018 13:21

@Cakelaur Congratulations on being pregnant again. When was your mc/mmc? How long has it taken to get here? Also how do you use a Doppler?

Maydot · 05/06/2018 13:30

Woohoooo She’s arrived!!!..... I have never been so happy to see AF!!
31 days since MMC!!! Now I can start trying to work out my cycle

MisBit1 · 05/06/2018 15:04

Hello. Can I join you please?
I’m 36 and have been ttc #2 since Dec 2017. DS1 is 3 in September. Had an early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy at the beginning of January this year at 5 weeks and then fell pregnant again in February. Had some light spotting start on 23rd April and was seen by the EPU on the 25th. I knew when the sonographer didn’t say anything that it wasn’t going to be good news. I found the hospital a bit unhelpful they wouldn’t say I was going to miscarry even though I knew that was the case as there was no way my dates were out and they’d admitted they couldn’t find a heartbeat. They sent us away with an appointment for 10 days later to double check and said we’d discuss options then. The night before my second scan I started miscarrying naturally and ended up in A&E when the pain amped up. The gynae consultant confirmed I was miscarrying and asked if I was happy for her to remove a blockage in my cervix which she thought would ease the pain. After she said she’d removed the pregnancy. My scan later on confirmed the mmc was complete, I should have been 12+6 but they thought the baby had stopped growing at around 6 or 7 weeks. I got a BFN on a HPT on the 15th May. I’ve not used OPKs at all this month and only BD’d a couple of times but not around when I suspect I’d have ovulated based on EWCM, think subconsciously it was a case of ‘if I don’t try I can’t fail’. I’m currently waiting for AF on day 32 now. Cycles usually 29 days and would really like things to get back to normal, although I’m not looking forward to all the emotions that go with ttc again.

DaisyMay25 · 05/06/2018 15:12

@Cakelaur how exciting! Oooo I didn't know you could get one for Home! That's worth bearing in mind for the future.

HidCat · 05/06/2018 15:37

@Pancakes7 I would just get on in there tbh. If you're not bleeding it's not a problem so crack on!

@Maydot who hoo!

@MisBit1 I'm so sorry to hear you've had another loss. I hope you're doing ok. We're all here for you whenever you need us. xx

@Cakelaur good luck for the scan tomorrow!

So I thought my period had kicked in this morning but it stopped again very quickly and hasn't come back. Going to give it a few more days before trying a FRER. On one hand I don't want to get my hope is but on the other it could he implantation....

@Cakelaur you had quite a late BFP on yours didn't you?

littleemma1 · 05/06/2018 15:45

@Pancakes7 we are not waiting for first AF purely because my cycles are so erratic that could be 6m time, and, I’ve heard you’re super fertile so don’t want to miss this (hopefully!) window!

littleemma1 · 05/06/2018 16:03

@MisBit1 so sorry you find yourself here and very sorry to hear of your losses ❤️

L1zz13 · 05/06/2018 16:51

Sorry to see you here @MisBit1
We're all in various stages of feeling happy, excited, optimistic and just plain shitty. The more the merrier.

Check this bad boy out...

Wish me luck seducing hubbo later 😉
And be prepared to hold my hand when I'm back in tears tomorrow.

@HidCat so sorry you're out! Or reading your update - you may not be out!! Fx for you xx But your DH seems to be looking forward to another month of baby dancing !!
@DaisyMay25 , I also told my hubby to the marathon session @Boboelephant seems to be having and he too liked scared!!
@Cakelaur you deserve to be an emotional pregnant mess! Where did you get the dopler from?
@Pancakes7 if you're not bleeding then is just start trying! No harm in having no some loving!!! X
@Maydot good luck for this month! I waited about 33 days after MC for first AF. It it was a lot lighter , lasted 4 days but very light on the last 3 so be prepared that it may be different to what you had before x
@MisBit1 so sorry for your loss, as I've said shove I started AF on day 33 so hopefully not long for you now and you can get your cycle back to normal to start trying again, sending you virtual hugs for your loss xx
@L1zz13 good luck seducing DH!!! I am on my best behaviour this week as we should be ovulating any day soon! Even making a homemade steak pie for tea tonight!! Xx

Maydot · 05/06/2018 18:02
