Hi ladies.
This was the first month not tracking after trying for 8 months and getting nowhere.
My last 3 cycles lasted 28, 29 and 32 days, but think the last one may have been a CP.
No idea which date I actually ovulated, but felt cramping on and off since early last week and I'm due AF any time from Monday.

Think I'm going to do a test at the weekend, because I can't just sit and wait! Praying it's a BFP Thanks

Good luck @FlapJackered! I'm due on the 24th but realistically I'll probably start testing from the middle of next week, just for funsies Smile

VenusStarr · 17/06/2018 08:15

@FlapJackered I was due on Thursday. Af arrived this morning, so had a 14 day luteal phase. I never believed that we'd had a chance this month as dh was poorly. Think the acupuncture has influenced that. Relieved period has arrived and can get on with a new cycle, although it's quite a lot more painful. Got another acupuncture in 2 weeks, so wondering if ovulation will be slightly later this month. She did say on my first appointment that she was going to look at my cycle length.

Hope everyone else is OK :)

Murphyrocks · 17/06/2018 09:52

Sorry to hear that af arrived @VenusStarr but onwards and upwards for July! Hope acupuncture goes well.

VenusStarr · 17/06/2018 13:11

Thank you @Murphyrocks, I'll still keep an eye on the thread and check in to hopefully see your bfps :)

sprinkleofsunshine · 17/06/2018 22:29

Sorry to hear af has come @VenusStarr but as you say atleast it means you're onto the next one so fx for July!

Fx for everyone else in. Still not feeling positive myself and have absolutely zero symptoms, amazing what you miss when you're not looking for it I think it might be!

Pudding01 · 18/06/2018 07:08

This late ovulation has really thrown me. I'm due AF today (CD28) but I ovulated later, so only 10dpo... But tested this morning and got a BFN. I think even if I was having a later period, I'd still have a faint line by now?

Yeah I'm not really having any symptoms either @sprinkleofsunshine other than a bit of on & off cramping 3dpo but I'm only 5dpo now so really too early to expect much. Plus with dc1 the first month I was sure I was pg with every symptom in the book but wasn't, then month 2 I was absolutely convinced I wasn't with nothing except feeling like af was arriving the day before she was due, only took a test at 10dpo so confirm so I could go out for drinks that night and was flabbergasted when I saw the second line. So you just never know!

@Pudding01 replied on the other thread too but to reiterate here 1 in 3 pg don't show up until after 10dpo, so yes it's not likely but you're definitely still in! How long is your lp normally so you know when af is due?

VenusStarr · 18/06/2018 08:27

Thank you @sprinkleofsunshine. When are you due again?

@Pudding01 I don't know if my eye us catching something on the last pic? But at 10dpo think you're still in. Do you temp?

Fingers crossed @Murphyrocks

I'm undecided whether to track this month or not, the acupuncturist wasnt in favour of me doing it, but part of me likes checking my body is doing what it needs to do.

FlapJackered · 18/06/2018 08:55

@sprinkleofsunshine sorry to hear that, I think I will be the same in a few days but will be keen to get on a new cycle as this one is currently on cd53 Confused

@pudding01 I would say until AF starts there is a chance? 10dpo is early.

@venusstarr @murphyrocks - I am the same! I was convinced last time that I was pregnant and nothing! This time I definitely don't feel pregnant.

I am 9dpo now and have to keep repeating to myself 'wait until Thursday at least' as dying to poas but I have very normal AF symptoms now so really don't think it's going to happen.

Pudding01 · 18/06/2018 09:01

Thanks @Murphyrocks and @VenusStarr, I won't lose hope completely then. I've been pregnant 3 times, with one beautiful DD who is now 16 months and this 4th try is the longest and most stressful.
First two pregnancies were in the first month, but were ectopic. Third was was within 3 months, so I'm really struggling and hoping I don't have to move on to month 10 of trying 💔
I haven't temped before, but will look into it if it's better than ovulation tests? X

@Pudding01 sounds like you've had a bit of a tough road, but at least with a child already you know it's possible. I find opks quite inconclusive on their own, they have their place I think but best used in tandem with temping. I feel like it takes a few months to really get to know your cycle but there's definitely some benefit straightaway too. Lots of people swear by CM tracking also which I've never done, but might add that in next cycle if I'm not pg as it does make sense.

sprinkleofsunshine · 18/06/2018 10:24

@Pudding01 so sorry to hear that I hope you get your BFF very soon

@FlapJackered wow cd 53 bless you! I hope either way it comes to an end soon so you have a BFP or can start on a fresh new cycle!

sprinkleofsunshine · 18/06/2018 10:25

@VenusStarr not due af until this coming Sunday so a while yet. If I put my mind to it I am having some cramping, stitch like pain and some hip area pain again all things I've picked up an tracked in previous months but this month because I think I have no chance I'm not even tracking them.

@Murphyrocks that's exciting to know. However I'm worried I'm going to convince myself I'm preg because o feel so unpregnant ha and then be in a cycle again so I'm trying really hard not to think about it too much.

Murphyrocks · 18/06/2018 10:32

@sprinkleofsunshine yes I know what you, desperately trying to take my mind off it and not symptom spot, nothing I can do now either way either I am or I'm not, just time goes soooo slowly during the 2ww! I'm due Sunday too, will probably start testing from Wed/Thurs when it's technically possible to get a bfp but try not to get disappointed because it's still unlikely to show. How about you?

Murphyrocks · 18/06/2018 10:42

@FlapJackered you're so strong holding out until 12dpo, especially after such a long cycle! I'm only 5dpo and already itching to break out the ICs even though I know it's impossible for anything to show up yet! If you're going to test Thursday I might do the same and we can stare at phantom lines together Grin

FlapJackered · 18/06/2018 10:53

@murphyrocks great idea - that will stop me from testing earlier too!
I have been very tempted to test but I am pretty sure it’s going to be negative this month so I am delaying the bad news!

Murphyrocks · 18/06/2018 11:06

@FlapJackered it's a date! I'm not holding out much hope for 8dpo either, pretty unlikely anything will show then anyway, but I'm a slight poas addict!

sprinkleofsunshine · 18/06/2018 11:40

@Murphyrocks good luck to you!

Because I know that I'm pretty much out before it began this month I think I'm going to wait for af and I'm fully expecting her to be late again. I only have one test in the house and don't want to buy anymore so going to try and hold out.

Murphyrocks · 18/06/2018 12:38

Thanks @sprinkleofsunshine! That's probably the best way of finding out tbh, if af doesn't appear, I'm just too impatient! I'm already a little nervous - will have to skip next month if we're not pg as I'm maid of honour at a wedding at the beginning of April which would be pretty much fall exactly on my due date if it happened then and hate the idea of not even possibly being pg for another 2 months...

Laura549678 · 18/06/2018 13:10

Just reading down the thread.. I was due on on Friday last week... still no AF and BFN when testing this morning. Going to wait until 1 week late this Friday to see what happens.. 🤞when I found out with DD1 it didn't show a BFP until 2 weeks after missed AF! Horrible not knowing!

Murphyrocks · 18/06/2018 13:57

Wow that's really late @Laura549678 - how frustrating for you although good sign that AF is 3 days late. Do you know when you ovulated?

Laura549678 · 18/06/2018 14:05

@murphyrocks not sure, I think it was around 29th May but can't be 100%. So confusing as still BFN... but last time it took forever but who knows! Really veiny too and sore boob's... hopefully all a good sign!! X

Murphyrocks · 18/06/2018 14:43

So that would mean you're 20dpo? Less than 1 on 20 women don't have a positive test when pg by 18dpo, but I guess that's actually quite a lot of women given how many actually get pg so who knows! Particularly if it took such a long time to come up last time. Those sound like good signs too. There's a couple of us on this thread testing on Thursday morning if you want to jump on the band wagon and test again then if AF is still AWOL?!

lorraddu · 18/06/2018 19:57

@VenusStarr I am sorry AF showing up. I hate that every month. I feel your pain and feel your disappointment. This month I am not taking any medicine. No clomid, nothing. I want to try naturally. My suggestion, take a month of for your body recover from all kind of medicines you have in your body. I am taking some kind of Chinese herbs. It's all natural that make from herbs. So far I feel good about it. Don't really know when I ovulate but I will keep my eye to that. Take it easy and take care of yourself. Don't stress yourself.

sprinkleofsunshine · 18/06/2018 22:27

@lorraddu is this your first ttc?

I'm trying not to think too much about things as been really good so far and not symptom spotting but have had some definite cramping today, no idea many dpo I am at a guess somewhere between 5-9
