Anyone due AF next week & want to join the final countdown?!

Hi ladies.
This was the first month not tracking after trying for 8 months and getting nowhere.
My last 3 cycles lasted 28, 29 and 32 days, but think the last one may have been a CP.
No idea which date I actually ovulated, but felt cramping on and off since early last week and I'm due AF any time from Monday.

Think I'm going to do a test at the weekend, because I can't just sit and wait! Praying it's a BFP

Yes good job I did check @VenusStarr as the before bed OPK was definitely positive, then this morning's was negative (pic attached, last night's at the bottom and this morning's at the top), so O due today or tomorrow with AF due 25th. Dtd the last 2 nights which should cover me so waiting game for both of us now! How are you doing with your 2ww @sprinkleofsunshine?

Hi both, sorry haven't been here for a while! There's a few things going on at the moment that haven't been great but have taken my mind off this month so I'm not stressing I guess.

I've once again no idea what is happening, haven't felt any o pains- not even the strange new sensation I felt last month a few days later than predicted o. I didn't use opk as I've been a bit preoccupied. I only dtd twice with dh being away too so not expecting much, having a bit of a chill month.

No idea if I've ovulated, how many dpo I am, suppose to be due af week Sunday but fully expecting it to be late again this month.

Sorry to hear things have been difficult @sprinkleofsunshine, hopefully af will be on time then you can get on with next month. I'm due af next Sunday too with O yesterday according to my chart, had the post-O spike this morning, so working on around the same time frame again.

Good to hear from you @sprinkleofsunshine. Maybe because you were distracted you didn't notice O this month? Hope you don't have to wait too long for your next cycle.

@Murphyrocks hopefully af stats away. Will you test before Sunday?

I'm very confused. Currently 13dpo (last month I had an 11 day luteal phase - I thought it stayed the same?) but no sign of af, although my temperature has dropped the last 2 days, I'm still off coverline. It could mean I did ovulate on cd15 instead. But opk and ovulation cramps cuggest it was around the weekend of 2 June. Frustrated. Just want to get onto the next cycle now. If no af by Monday, this will be my longest cycle since coming off the pill. X

That dies sound pretty confusing @VenusStarr! Have you tested? Maybe it was later instead, my luteal phase doesn't usually vary by more than a day. My app says not to test until the 26th and I'll try to hold off as long as possible but realistically I'll probably start earlier just in case!

Tests have been negative @Murphyrocks. The flo app has changed af date to tomorrow after I put in I had creamy cm today. Anytime this weekend would be with my usual cycle length it's just that I know or believe I can pinpoint when ovulation was.

Can you just miss a period if you have definitely ovulated??

I'm pretty sure you can't miss a period if your cycle is ovulatory, so maybe we were wrong and you did actually O on cd15 instead. Guess you'll find out either way in the next few days.

This is the first cycle of trying when I got a definite positive OPK and appropriately timed dtd, so of course I've got my hopes up ridiculously high and am obsessing which is going to make the wait super long! Only 2dpo and already feels like forever! Any tips of on how to make the time go faster?!

If I did O on cd15 I think there is something wrong as my temperature didn't go very high and it has twice dropped below that coverline. Thankfully this weekend is quite busy so can distract myself. I hope!

That's my advice, try and take your mind off it. It's v hard to do though! Before you know it, it will be next Friday and you'll be closer to finding out :)

Hi @Murphyrocks , yes I am on 6dpo although not holding out much hope as only dtd 4 days before ov, and zero symptoms unfortunately! When do you think you will test?
I am thinking the 24th if I can wait that long!

@VenusStarr I actually had a look back at my cycles over the last year when you mentioned that before and even though my cycle is pretty consistent I still have plenty of outliers that buck the trend - it's the trend that's important rather than the odd temp that doesn't fit which is why it's good to temp for a few months to get to know your cycle. Good luck on your distraction, I'll try my best to do the same!

I though lp was always the same and mine is usually 14 days big last month was 18 days I'm pretty sure af is going to be late this month again but given unsure of when o I've no idea when to expect really. Next Sunday according to app if I o'd on time, dr said last month to go back if in late again this month.

Hi @FlapJackered! So you're due on the 24th too? If so you me and and @sprinkleofsunshine are all due af on the same day, how funny! I'll definitely test then too, but knowing me I probably won't be able to wait that long!

I'm due 22nd and been really emotional and crampy today so have a feeling af will come however I am testing tomorrow for fun! I'll report back xx

Hey @Murphyrocks I'm in the tww again too! AF due on Monday but only got my positive ovulation test last Thursday, so only 7dpo (i think?) really not sure how this is going to pan out 🤷🏼‍♀️
Been really warm and cramps last couple of days, but not sure if that's just normal before AF. Going to test tomorrow anyway even though it's way too early! X

Fx @Pudding01, I probably won't even make it 8dpo tbh so no shame! Last time I got a very clear bfp on my first test at 10 dpo so reckon I might have got a faint positive before then if I'd tested, so I figure it's worth a shot!

@Murphyrocks @FlapJackered there's something nice about all being due af the same day. However, I don't think I'm in with any shout this time so for once I'm not even tempted to test, I may just try and wait for af as in expecting it to be late anyway. Though we will see next week as it gets closer- may be a different story by then.

@Murphyrocks @sprinkleofsunshine yes due the same day! I love that! Fingers crossed one of us get a bfp although sprinkle I am doubtful for me too, have zero symptoms also I had friends around and they have been forcing gins down me and now I feel v guilty if there is a chance. 😕

No new from me. My temperature went up a bit this morning and had some sticky cm. Thanks for looking back over your charts @Murphyrocks, just wanting to start my next cycle now. Typical of af to nothing when you want her!

Yeah that's awesome to all be due on the same day, apparently when you're properly ttc you have a 1 in 3 chance of conceiving so statically at least one of us should get a bfp!

@FlapJackered no need to feel guilty, if anything has happened alcohol won't affect it until around 5-6 weeks when it's sharing a bloodstream with you, until then it won't do any harm! Having said that I do still largely abstain during the 2ww as the most recent studies show a slight reduction in fertility/conception chances, but if anything is actually there it'll make no difference! Probably too early for symptoms too, I didn't have any until af was due last time!

@VenusStarr looks like you still might be in, fx you'll find out either way soon as the not knowing is so frustrating!

@murphyrocks have you got any symptoms? I have started to get AF symptoms unfortunately. I wish I could just test now and could get it over with! I hate the waiting for what is likely a negative for me.

@FlapJackered I had some weird intermittent cramping yesterday but only 4dpo so not sure what's going on there! Trying to ignore my body as its probably lying to me giving me symptoms because I want them to be there!

When are you due af? Hope she stays away for you.
