Hi ladies.
This was the first month not tracking after trying for 8 months and getting nowhere.
My last 3 cycles lasted 28, 29 and 32 days, but think the last one may have been a CP.
No idea which date I actually ovulated, but felt cramping on and off since early last week and I'm due AF any time from Monday.

Think I'm going to do a test at the weekend, because I can't just sit and wait! Praying it's a BFP Thanks

Definite line @sprinkleofsunshine, huge congratulations! Come join us in the March 2019 baby group! So so happy for you!

sprinkleofsunshine · 23/06/2018 10:10

Oh gosh I can't believe it, I don't want to let myself get too carried away. I cried but dh is very let's get another test and check bless him, think he's worried.

I'll be going out in a bit to wipe the shop of all their tests and then hopefully I may be joining you on the boards @Murphyrocks Grin

Murphyrocks · 23/06/2018 10:17

Yeyeyeyeyey! What test was this? I've heard the blue ones are harder to read than the pink ones, first response early result are great. If I were you I'd either wait until tomorrow morning or not drink much until your next test as with it being so faint you'll need quite concentrated urine to get a result. And you thought were out this month - funny isn't it?!

sprinkleofsunshine · 23/06/2018 10:28

This was the clear blue early detection as I just had one in the house. I might get a frer and then just some cheapy Tesco pink ones or something to keep testing over the next week.

I'll be so tempted to test again later but I should atleast wait until fmu tomorrow I know. I know it is funny, with dh away and then so much going on it's been not a great time so it was last thing on my mind tbh, which may have helped I guess!

I just want a definite darker line to let myself really believe it x

sprinkleofsunshine · 23/06/2018 10:42

I keep looking at the test and the line has really faded width wise so it's just left the thin blue line now, thinner than control. As the thick line came up in the timeframe I'm assuming it's ok and it's just drying out but I thought they stayed the same? Confused any ideas anyone? Sorry in advance for all the questions!!

Happy to answer questions @sprinkleofsunshine, I'm pretty au fait with taking tests both positive and negative by now! The line that shows up in the time frame is what counts - my frer this morning was a strong positive and stayed but the ic had a faint line which then disappeared after 30 minutes or so. That's why they say not to read it after the test time! It's common for early bfps to just have colour on the side of the line furthest from the control line or just at the top and bottom because of the way it pulls the dye - it's definitely still positive I can see it without zooming or anything!

Personally I've found the strongest lines if I ignore fmu but then don't drink anything and test again an hour later - more dehydrated I guess? Up to you, might just be me as I know fmu is the standard but thought I'd share in case!

sprinkleofsunshine · 23/06/2018 11:10

Thank you @Murphyrocks that puts my mind at ease! There is definitely no mistaking the blue line furthest away from control, I can see it across the room, ha. I went a bit mad with tests the first month but this is still only ttc month 3 so it's still pretty new to me.

Thanks for sharing, I have heard the same. Maybe I'll try that tomorrow. Apparently hcg levels double every 48 hours? so should get a bit of a darker line Monday fx

sakuramiyagi · 24/06/2018 09:56

I'm out this month, AF appear this morning! Totally gutted. I must have had a weird cold hence the symptoms or I have just went loopy Sad

Congratulations to all the lucky posters who got their BFP, I'm so excited for you all.

sprinkleofsunshine · 26/06/2018 10:11

Sorry to hear af arrived @sakuramiyagi

I'm back. My bfp was short lived, I started bleeding Saturday afternoon. Another positive Sunday morning but bleeding, a very faint positive yesterday and barely there today so have had a cp.
Really gutted but really hope I get a sticky bean soon, as this is my second cp/miscarriage. Sad

sakuramiyagi · 26/06/2018 11:16

I'm so sorry @sprinkleofsunshine I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for both of us next month Smile

sprinkleofsunshine · 26/06/2018 13:26

Thanks @sakuramiyagi me too! Are you ttc number 1?

VenusStarr · 26/06/2018 13:27

So sorry to hear that @sprinkleofsunshine, hope you're OK, take care of yourself x

Sorry to hear about your af arriving too @sakuramiyagi

Fingers crossed for you both next month. I'm still lurking but trying to not think about ttc. I'm feeling much more positive.

sakuramiyagi · 26/06/2018 13:44

Yup we are ttc our first. I'm 31 and DH is 37 so we are a bit paranoid about leaving it too late (crazy I know).

CobaltRose · 26/06/2018 13:49

OMG, AF isn't due for another five days, but I caved and took an FRER and got this... ❤

Anyone due AF next week & want to join the final countdown?!
sprinkleofsunshine · 26/06/2018 14:51

Thank you @VenusStarr can't believe it. I thought I would be disappointed but I'm actually more gutted than I thought I'd be. I'm glad you're feeling much better I'm already thinking the tww in July is going to be tough and I don't want to put too much pressure on myself.

Congratulations @CobaltRose that looks like a good line for 5 days early!

VenusStarr · 26/06/2018 20:37

Sorry this has happened @sprinkleofsunshine. It's easier said than done to not think about it but I'm finding having a distraction and having things to look forward to helps. I've hidden my apps too, I'm definitely more relaxed.

Congrats @CobaltRose, that's a good line for 9dpo :)

sprinkleofsunshine · 26/06/2018 21:04

I know what you mean @VenusStarr I tried hard last month not to over analyse everything and not to post too much on here or keep looking, it's a great support network but it can make it too easy to think have I got that symptom etc? So def get where you are coming from and the tracker apps are the worst! As long as you're feeling better that's great x

VenusStarr · 02/07/2018 17:23

How are you doing @sprinkleofsunshine? Hope you're feeling OK x

sprinkleofsunshine · 02/07/2018 17:26

Hey @VenusStarr thanks for asking! I'm ok now thank you. Onwards and upwards, I'm just starting my fw again so dtd last night and will continue for next week or so every other day so fx I catch and it's a sticky one next time!

How are you? X

VenusStarr · 02/07/2018 17:47

Glad you're feeling better @sprinkleofsunshine. I've got my fingers crossed for you. I'm good, feeling much more positive. Haven't tracked at all, am due on next week, have just put a star in my diary. But haven't thought about it much, it's been good to have a mental break. I'll check in with you though, it's good hearing how you're getting on. X

sprinkleofsunshine · 02/07/2018 19:20

Glad you're feeling much better about it all @VenusStarr - it's so consuming. You never know so many people say they catch when thy decide to take a break and I certainly thought i was out last month, did not expect to catch at all.

Aw thank you. I'm just going to try and not be too ott about it again this month and see what happens. People keep asking us now though when we are going to have children etc and that's getting old already, especially because no one knows about my cp last month and so many people have asked lately. Never mind hopefully have an answer for them soon!

XxBecxX · 26/07/2018 09:19

Any of you girls still ttc x

VenusStarr · 26/07/2018 09:24

Hi @XxBecxX yes still here. Had to take a bit of a break as was getting overwhelmed with it all. Am feeling more positive about things and taking the pressure off has helped. Am due af in 10 days.

What about you? Have you been trying long? X

XxBecxX · 26/07/2018 09:31

Morning my lovely, I’m a bit of an old hand as I already have children but decided to try for one more. I’m on cycle 1, about 4dpo but I have suffered with MMC a fair bit in the past and really love the support from mumsnet, my last baby April 2017 I’m still in touch daily on facey with all the ladies and we are all really good friends having met up and it’s just nice to know no matter how long it takes your riding the same luney train with someone else lol

Have you feeling this month x

XxBecxX · 26/07/2018 09:33

I’m due af the 5th aswell lol
