Anyone due AF next week & want to join the final countdown?!

Hi ladies.
This was the first month not tracking after trying for 8 months and getting nowhere.
My last 3 cycles lasted 28, 29 and 32 days, but think the last one may have been a CP.
No idea which date I actually ovulated, but felt cramping on and off since early last week and I'm due AF any time from Monday.

Think I'm going to do a test at the weekend, because I can't just sit and wait! Praying it's a BFP

My temperature dropped again this morning. It's still above coverline but I don't feel hopeful now.

How's everyone else today?

I broke my own promise to myself and tested at 10dpo and it was obviously negative. I don't know why I did it! Grr.

Hi @sprinkleofsunshine I'm going to wait until Saturday - only because I used my last test this morning! I'm not hopeful as my Temps have been consistently dropping so am only 0.24 above my coverline now... My boobs are still tender and now veiny but I don't think that means anything for me now. Babymaking is hard. How are you?

I'm ok thank you, no real symptoms as such. Have a rubbish cold & sore throat but think that's from spending time with my friends little girl. I'm having hot flushes and very very mild cramping but not thinking much of it.

Feeling a bit deflated this month even though it's only cycle 2, even though I'm well aware it can take a while I think you kind of still cling onto the hope that it will be straight away for you don't you.

Definitely @sprinkleofsunshine hope is good but it does sting when af arrives. I was in training today and someone was visibly pregnant and was joking that they hadn't even tried. Must admit I did have a pang of lucky you, here I am waking up at 4am reading my temperature and weeing on sticks! We're not out yet though sprinkle :)

We seem to be in the same position @VenusStarr. No we are def not out yet :-) I felt so down when af turned up last month. Dh thinks I'm bonkers as we're are supposed to be 'seeing what happens' anyway.

I think if I'm out I may start temping last month but no idea where to start! Any recommendations for good thermometers?

My DH is the same! I feel like I need to take control, well feel like I'm doing something.

My thermometer is from Amazon, it's got baby mad printed on it and was about £5. The thermometer needs to read to 2 decimal points. I've been inputting on the Flo app. You have to take it at the same time every day and before you get up but after 3 hours sleep. I always wake up for the loo about the same time so do my temp first. (I started on cycle day 9, not sure you should do it when you're on your period) and used opks from day 8. How long is your cycle? I googled when I should start for my cycle length. My surge was very quick so without temping I would've thought I didn't ovulate but can clearly see on my chart I did. And it's good to keep track of how long my luteal phase is. I uses ovia before to track and that was wildly out with my fertile week.

Hmm I might try that next month thanks @VenusStarr though the getting up in the night will take me some getting used to, maybe best I start that now

I only use an app so far as to be fair it's usually only out by a day if not on the day for when I ovulate ( I can usually feel it) or af but prob not the most accurate. I do have some opks I may use next month

Well ladies I think I'm out been spotting for 2 days however only cycle day 25 and I normally don't spot till day 28....so that's really odd and I don't know what to think. Fairly certain af will be here in the morning but I'm never "early"

@Owlpatrol if af doesn't arrive in a couple of days i would take a test 🙂 I spotted yesterday before waking up to full period early this morning. Was hoping mine was late implantation bleeding 🙈 x

Hopefully it's not af @Owlpatrol how long is your cycle usually?

@VenusStarr usually 29 days with spotti g starting around cycle day 28 so fingers crossed

I'm 11dpo, temperature is up slightly today but nothing much to report really.

@VenusStarr well I am expecting af today but so far nothing no cramps or anything so let's see....af usually due tomorow. I'll report back later. How's everyone else doing?

Af due tomorrow/next day for me. No cramps or anything yet but they usually only start a few hours before. Having major hot flushes but it is pretty warm here I guess.

How are you both today? @Owlpatrol @sprinkleofsunshine my temperature dipped this morning (12do), still above coverline but only by 0.08, so hope is definitely going. Still massively bloated and don't have any cramps or anything but still a couple of days before I'm expecting af. Hope you're both OK

@VenusStarr thank you for asking I'm all over the place keep going to the toilet expecting af but I'm fairly certain it'll come today just can't believe I've had 4 days of spotting! Thinking of you also xx

I think I'm in the mindset I'm out before it's even begun this month from not catching last month (even though it was only first month ttc think I thought there was a fairly good chance) but I thought last night that that doesn't have any impact on this month and I've got just as much chance of catching this time (assuming o was when I thought it was!) so a bit more optimistic this morning & have refrained from testing!

Hi everyone! Sorry I'm quite late to the party but can I join? New to the site and driving myself mad ttc #2! I'm 8dpo with af due Friday (10 day lp, use naturalcycles for contraception so pretty familiar with my cycle), tested the last 3 days with bfn, both ic and frer this morning. Going on holiday on Friday with all the family so really want to know either way so I can tell people why I'm not drinking etc! I've had some dragging pains in lower back/abdomen, some nausea and insomnia (both unusual for me) and my temps are slowly climbing. Any thoughts?! Thanks for reading
