TTC first baby cycle one! Anyone else out there?

So.... first baby 🤞🏼🙏🏽🤞🏼🙏🏽 Meant to be ovulating tomorrow. Main challenge atm is keeping things fun with the husband and not making him feel like a baby making machine 😂 How’s it going for other hopeful first time mummy’s?

Me! I think I ovulated yesterday so I'll be on holiday when I can test (packing several tests..)

Also trying not to make other half feel like a machine. I don't think it's working! I keep trying to show him all my apps and get him involved but he's not interested.

I have a hen party for my SIL bang over when my period is due at the end of the month, so if I do end up preggers it's going to be painfully obvious...

Haha I definitely would worry about that, if I get pregnant I am sure everyone will notice because it's very unlike me to turn down a drink 😂 Best of luck to you for this cycle

and my husband not very interested in apps either... think he's worried it will become about babies rather than just being intimate

My husband started out like that.... 5 cycles in TTC and he might as well have his own app he asks me regularly what day it is and what's happening and he's started popping vitamin C's lol

rosesandponies yeah, I literally drink like a fish when I'm with that side of the family so it'd be pretty blatant.

Hi guys, first month for us too! I have ridiculously long cycles but charting and on the clear blue clinical trial so hopefully will catch ovulation!
Just finished AF so now a charting/waiting game! My DH is the same. He thinks we should just not chart etc and see what happens....

So much to do today but can't stop googling implantation signs... and today is meant to be my most fertile day so want to try but don't want husband to feel like a machine/performing seal. Really hope that he hasn't had too stressful a day at work 😂

Yes my husband is very ‘let’s just go with it’ as well - hates to see me researching etc

@rosesandponies I hope you managed to convince the DH.
I am due to start doing opks from tomorrow, but because of my recent long cycles I think it might be at least a week before I become fertile.
This waiting game is tough!

Quick question, can implantation happen 3dpo?! And not even 3 full days as I think I ovulated early afternoon on Sunday. Surely not?!? I just an odd period pain sensation and I'm obviously no where near my period.

I'm sure I must be symptom spotting

Hi guys! We started trying this month and I am currently in that horrible stage of waiting for my period which is due on the 18th.
My DH is pretty relaxed but I am struggling with the lack of control over it all! I have even been symptom spotting like a mad thing but am fairly certain that I am just imagining things.

I don't know how long after ovulation you can implant but would be useful to know - feeling quite dejected this evening because husband worked so late so didn't want to try on ovulation day yesterday and is complaining about feeling too tired tonight again... it's like our roles have reversed! He's like 'tomorrow' and I don't know if it's still possible tomorrow...

Think implantation can be from 5 days after O?

Can I join in? I'm not reallyyyyy cycle 1. We tried for 4 cycles last year but my periods hadn't really settled after being on the pill. I've just had a couple of 40+ day cycles and have started to use OPKs and chart again. Looks like I may have O'd on CD22 which puts me at 2DPO today. Hoping if AF is to come it will be around day 34-36 to show some level of regulation again, but we shall see...

Hi ladies, can I join in too. I haven't ever posted before. This is my second cycle trying for first baby and I'm in the same place as you DefinitelyOdd. I'm due AF Saturday or Sunday and I had no idea how hard the wait was until started trying and only just started too. IV been reading different forums a lot so if you need to know what any abbreviations are just ask hehe.

Hi i just made a new thread of a very similar post before coming across this one. Still getting the hang of MN. It's our first cycle TTC#1 too and this wait is pure torture. I had a test sitting on my bathroom counter just staring at me so I caved and tested at approx 7dpo. AF due around the 17th and I am also symptom spotting like mad!

Hi Twinklebear, I know exactly how you feel. I'm on second month and I'm still trying to read everything and symptom spot. Tried talking to DH about it but I don't think he really understands. He's like just don't think about it haha! I wish it was that simple 😂! I haven't done any testing yet though because I'm just really tight and hpts cost so much haha! IL wait until I'm a couple days late... Like tuesday.

@Trying1stBaby they definitely are a fortune, I've just done the 1 so far, bought 4 more branded ones and will keep them out of sight so I don't feel as tempted. Yea my DH is also not really bothered by the whole thing or reading too much into it. I'm just obsessing.
