TTC first baby cycle one! Anyone else out there?

So.... first baby 🤞🏼🙏🏽🤞🏼🙏🏽 Meant to be ovulating tomorrow. Main challenge atm is keeping things fun with the husband and not making him feel like a baby making machine 😂 How’s it going for other hopeful first time mummy’s?

Think I'm out, started spotting. On the plus side no crazy stupid 40 odd day cycle this time! I don't believe IB is very common at all so am not going to clutch any straws, might go hop on the June bus!

@OrcinusOrca oh no, you never know though. Could that not be implantation bleed? Question for you, I remember you saying you had a withdrawal bleed. When I spoke to someone else in another thread they said because I missed three pills at the end of my packet and bleed two days early than I was meant to (for my period to start) is was my withdrawal bleed. Do you agree? Keep your chin up lovely. X

Ok so just in case there is a small chance FF measures my cycle at 37 days. OPK positive and I'm sure I felt ovulation CD20. Am now CD31.

At what day should I see a positive measuring 10uml?

I can't do any maths which gives me an answer which isn't 'you would have done already'

Any help appreciated... Smile

Pretty certain I'm out now, horrific PMS, woke up to 3 massive zits on my cheeks. I'd forgotten how bad it is when you're not on the pill! June and cycle 2 here we come 🤞🏼 thanks for the kind words @Delilah7 and all

@rosesandponies I'm with you so don't rule it out. And mines only day one of my fertile window! Hang in there lovely. Welcome to my world with me being on the pill. 😂 hoping being off it will give my skin better luck!

@Delilah7 sounds like it was your WB, but you can ovulate without having had one anyway so I wouldn't worry too much. I can't remember when you said you stopped but hopefully your cycles come back regularly. Mine did then went really crazy, hopefully now they're finally settling.

@rosesandponies oh my gosh the spots!! After I O my whole chin just erupts Angry look like a bloody spotty teenager at work. My skin was fine on the pill too.

@OrcinusOrca my bleed started 5th may and ended the 9th! So you can get pregnant without having to have another natural period?

@Delilah7 yes, that's why even if you miss one or two pills they tell you to use extra protection, because it's possible you could ovulate. No idea how likely, but it can happen.

Hi ladies. Had a really bad day today... Found out I have had a chemical pregnancy Sad. So when I'm feeling a bit better it's back to the begining.

@Trying1stBaby oh hun, I understand that part. I'm scared mine will say I'm too young. I'm 22. But I've always wanted kids grown up with them and live with my partner. Anything else bothering you? X

I think if your ready to have kids your ready. No not really I'm just upset and disappointed... Just got so excited the other day... Went to the drs and everything had a midwife appointment for the 6th and just had to cancel it all... Just sad times! But I just need to have a sad day and then try and pick myself up again tomorrow

@Trying1stBaby good idea, keep spirits high but don't obsess that's what I'm scared of. I think ' oh I'm young it'll happen quickly ' but as I'm aware it doesn't always. Just would be nice as unfortunately both my grandmums aren't here and my grandad hasn't gone long left so would like him to know I'm expecting his 7th great grandchild xx

@Delilah7 Aw yeah I understand! I think even a couple who are both extremely fertile can take a good while to conceive. I think a lot of it comes down to luck. So I'm wishing you all the luck in the world for you TTC time Smile im sure it'll happen for you soon! Xx

@Delilah7 with a chemical pregnancy you haven't really gotten anyway in pregnancy terms so you can start once your period ends. I think I will try again after then but IL just see how I feel over the next few days. Hoping it doesn't impact ovulation.

I'm also on the first cycle with our first baby. Clearblue says I ovulated yesterday and my poor husband has been very obliging with my demands. We did discuss DTD every 2 day during the fertile week, but he's not coped so well with it being 'scheduled' so if I don't fall pregnant this cycle then we need to think of another tactic to take the pressure off.

We've agreed to not test until next Sunday and I'm debating what type of test to get, not sure if we should go whole hog and get the FRER or if a normal one from the supermarket would pick anything up at 11DPO? But considering it's a Sunday I almost need to get a few as I wouldn't cope with having to wait until 10am when the shops open if I need to get more Smile
