Orchid think it was me thinking about buying the Ava. Not sure now. Wondering if it might actually stress me out. I hated temping.
Serrapeptase is an enzyme which is supposed to break down any scar tissue, adhesions, cysts etc in your body. It was recommended on here a while back and as I’ve had two abdominal surgeries in recent years plus I’ve suffered in the past with ovarian cysts I though why the heck not add it to the regime!
I’ve got a fear my tubes are blocked (don’t get my results from the HSG until end of April) and there’s anecdotal evidence that it can unblock tubes. If it turns out my tubes are fine I’ll definitely drop that one.

Hi stars! So glad you made it here. Don’t be intimidated by the array of herbs and supplements, we are all sane really;)

I saw my chinese man yesterday. He almost fell off his chair. He said it's near impossible to get pregnant less than 2 months after such a high FSH result.

Jojo - I've started a thread on the pregnancy board for us!

Clara101 · 01/04/2018 16:02

Hi ladies, so happy to hear about these BFPs!!! Congrats Cleo, JoJo and ?sparkly.

Wishing all Happy Easter!!

Alibaba2 · 01/04/2018 18:26

Cleo, perhaps it was a bogus result taken at the wrong time of your cycle?

Cleozeta · 01/04/2018 18:41

Thanks clara!

Ali - no idea! Had it taken on cd5 which is a bit later than ideal but still within range.

Alibaba2 · 01/04/2018 19:07

Well it would have been higher on cd5 than cd3 and hadn’t you just come off pill so cycles would have been a bit erratic?

Alibaba2 · 01/04/2018 19:16

Just reading that the normal range for the ovulatory phase is between 6-26.

Cleozeta · 01/04/2018 20:25

Nope never been on the pill. Apparently anything over 10 is reduced fertility

Alibaba2 · 01/04/2018 20:55

That’s just on cd3 though right?

Cleozeta · 01/04/2018 21:42

Aparently it is within the range of 2-7 days (variable by gp's & clinics)

Alibaba2 · 01/04/2018 22:19

I see, I guess the ovulatory phase is seen as cd8 onwards...

sparklyglitterball · 02/04/2018 07:59

Huge congratulations Jojo!! How are you feeling? What a lovely Easter present 😊.

JoJoyorker · 02/04/2018 08:18

Thank you sparkly 😊 I don't feel very hopeful at the moment. No symptoms at all apart from period pains. Just wait and see I guess!

BooseysMom · 02/04/2018 08:24

Just catching up and see more congratulations in order to MDCB2018 & JoJo! What smashing news for Easter! FlowersEaster Smile

littlemimosa · 02/04/2018 09:19

I think doctors put too much emphasis on blood results for hormones. Years ago (in my late 20s) my prolactin was very high as was my fsh. Now at 42 they are much much better. Doesn’t mean getting pregnant now is easier! Blood results are just a snapshot.

Hope all is going well Cleo and JoJo.

Jess1994 · 02/04/2018 09:23

Congratulations 2 u all 😊

sparklyglitterball · 02/04/2018 10:18

Congratulations to MCD too! It's early days jojo. I had lots of period type pains too. Little mimosa, that's really interesting re the blood results. There seems to be so much relating to fertility which is just unknown to Drs/scientists.

KeepingTheFaith9 · 02/04/2018 10:31

Morning ladies. Continued blessings to the BFP’s and hopeful stuff to the rest of us. Funny thing happening with me today - quite bad period pains on what would be cycle day 18 if my period had come last month or 45 if I acknowledge that it didn’t - has anyone gone this long before, I assume so and this is my period, never get cramps this strong and it can’t be implantation (although if I did ovulate then I’m 8 dpo) If you miss a period is the next one quite heavy/painful? I’ve never missed a period (aside from when preg so not sure what the period after the missed one is like) Any annovulatory feedback welcome! Oh and Happy Bank Hol Monday!! 😊🐇🍫x

Cleozeta · 02/04/2018 12:20

Jojo I had period pain too. My symptoms seem to fluctuate. I had a panic this morning as all my symptoms seemed to have gone, so of course I went to dr google and put myself into even more panic. Seem to have a few back again now although I've no idea how much I am just imagining.
Mimosa that is really intetesting about blood tests. The problem is the gp's dont repeat tests, they just take one snapshot and say 'thats how it is' when its not really the case if you were to look at the bigger picture.

Faith - I had an anovulatory cycle last summer, I eventully got my period after about 6 weeks I think. It was more painful, I think it's because it's not actually a real period, it's not happened through the same process as a normal period. It's actually a breakthrough bleed. You may find it seems different too, it may last longer or shorter than normal and be of different consistency. You may also find it can come and go a bit too. But on the plus side it should trigger a normal cycle to start afterwards.

JoJoyorker · 02/04/2018 20:33

Cleo I do remember that happening to me last time. I had lots of symptoms to start with and then they disappeared. I went to the doctors thinking the worst and they said your body gets used to the sudden rise in hormones. Then they will rise again and you will have symptoms again, makes sense.

Cleozeta · 03/04/2018 00:12

Thank you jojo that is reassuring! Are you having symptoms yet?

BooseysMom · 03/04/2018 07:46

Interestingly about the pain and breakthrough bleed, I had both happen when I was pregnant for 3 months without realising! I thought it was peri menopause when it was actually DS all along!
It happened every month but was about 10-14 days past date I expected AF to get me. When no bleeding happened after 12 weeks I went to the docs and they suspected ectopic preg and I was sent for a scan. .and lo and behold there was DS wriggling around like crazy! DH went white and nearly passed out!! We had no idea for so long. So anything can happen and the bleeds I had weren't proper bleeding but like a runny brown consistency and yet I still didn't twig. Doh!!

KeepingTheFaith9 · 03/04/2018 09:44

Thanks Cleo, that’s helpful. AF is here now and arrived yesterday - not overly heavy but as is normal for me; but I guess I’m a bit confused as to where I am cycle-wise, am I taking yday as Day 1 now? I do think that temping might be the only way to see what is happening - if anything. I need a temping tutorial!! Where do you live Cleo and how much do you charge per hour for your wisdom??! I am looking into temp options - I saw something that was based on saliva ... but also thinking Ava or other. I’ve decided the TCM is going to have to conclude this week as was planned.. I just can’t afford any more money on it...
Boosey - well that would be a fabulous surprise for me were it the case but that’s unlikely - all my 3 BFPs were identical so I do tend to know when I’m successful!
However ... I have a dream 🙏🏻 and any whispers of hope are welcome.
Sending baby dust to us all - especially the newly BFP Mummas. XxX

JoJoyorker · 03/04/2018 11:06

I'm not sure Cleo. I have a few digestive issues which I suppose could be a symptom! I would have liked some sore boobs and nausea like last time for reassurance. I have got a HCG blood test booked for next week as they are full this week.

Alibaba2 · 03/04/2018 14:24

Apparently b-vitamins reduce things like pg nausea so that could be why! Mine kicked in at 6 weeks (no b-vits).
