MDCB2018!! That’s amazing! Gives me hope at 43. Congrats! Cleo can you not find someone to help you privately with progesterone etc, I would try that route if NHS keep being difficult. I had the harmony back in 2014 with my daughter - was lovely knowing what we were having! Orchid how much are you paying for TCM? Mine is about £50 a week... not cheap 😝 Cleo how about you? Oh and great news sparkly ... I too had a Doppler although I did get totally obsessed! And thanks for sharing the good news of the colleague 42!! Happy Easter all!! Morning ladies, I have a BFP

Omg jojo!!! Congrats!!!! This really is the month for it! Yay!

I am in shock. My usual period pains that always arrive at 10dpo just disappeared and I was pleased as thought it was the vit B working. I'm a day late and I usually spot for a couple of days. I was so sure it was just my LP increasing like it's supposed to so felt so silly doing a test.

OMG!! JoJo!! This is turning out to be a VERY exciting month... he he !! How many more BFP can we fit in before the 31st.... ?!!
What did you do different - if anything this month? Exciting times and fingers crossed! X🍀🍀🍀X

Jojo I felt really silly testing too!! Like who was I kidding?? Testing felt like a joke and 100% excpected bfn. Such a shock! So pleased for you. Hope we are both lucky and have caught some good eggs. Where do we go now? There is no 40+ pregnancy thread, we should create one! Hopefully everyone else can come and join us on that ship asap!

Congratulations JoJo! What did you do different? Remind me again how long you’ve been ttc? I love this sudden burst of bfps! Gives me such hope. It’s so true what my consultant said, us over 40 ladies are just as fertile but it just takes longer to catch that good egg

Mg Chinese lady said yesterday they seem to have more bfp now the spring is here so here's to hoping 🤞

Good luck ladies! I’m trying to not let it sink in I’m so worried of it disappearing. As you said Cleo the worry soon shifts to something else!
This month was my first month taking vitamin b complex and I do think it could be that. I’m pretty sure I tried to implant last month as had a pain and bit of spotting at 8DPO but my usual period pains started at 10dpo so my lining was breaking down too soon. I got my usual back pain at 10dpo which is what it normally starts with and then it just disappeared. I did also start a magnesium and vit d supplement this month as I read they are both important. I think also Sod’s law as I was so sure at 10dpo I was out I ordered thermometer, downloaded an app, ordered big pack of CB OPK and another 3 months supply of supplements!
Mimosa I stopped breastfeeding last May and my cycle was a bit irregular to start with so I’m not sure I would count the first couple of months.
I like that about the spring, like spring lambs! Oh I hadn’t thought about that Cleo, we will have to start one and hope lots of you will be there soon.

That’s very interesting JoJo and so typical that you ordered all that stuff!! So are you saying that you take all those supplements in addition to a multivitamin/min or that you just take the separate supps?

Hmm maybe I should schedule my private IUI in that case :) how much vit b complex are we supposed to take? I'm guessing it's through the whole cycle unlike epo?

Yes I take a conception multi vit, Ubquinol, then I started the vit b and extra magnesium vit d from this month. Oh and I've been taking EPO for a couple of months too. The vit b complex is the 50 strength. I started taking it from day after ovulation. I think that's what Cleo recommended? As it delays LP so I didn't want it to delay ovulation as that part is fine. My LP was 12 days which is ok but as the period pains started from 10dpo I knew my lining was starting to break. One of the symptoms of LP problems is back ache and period pains early in LP.

I guess if you ovulate early it would be better to take Vit B all month.

Thanks JoJo no idea when I'm ovulating but I'm guessing yesterday and started my vit b today so should be good. I'll look into vit d and magnesium too

LP is luteal phase, EPO-evening primrose oil.

Jojo, did you get spotting this cycle? I get those pains around implantation time which feels to me like the ovary waking up but my guy said it was an active corpus luteum as he tested my prog around that time.

I used to take b-complex but my folate levels came up extremely high on a blood test so I stopped them.

I’ve stopped taking epo now in case it was bringing ov forward.
