December Bus - Christmas Wishes

Hi all,

I’ve decided to take the plunge and make a December Bus. I know it’s still early in Nov but for those of us whose cycles fall early in the month it’ll be nice for us to have a new thread!

I’m 23
TTC #1
Cycle: 2

Had so many symptoms in October (unusual for my regular AF) so felt so disappointed when it wasn’t meant to be.

Anyway let’s hope December is our month and hope for that Christmas surprise! SmileHalloween GrinStar

@FruitandNutty exercise is good for fertility and even when pregnant you can continue what's normal for you. Get yourself back !!

I've have no more spotting after last night I'm really confused now and I missed my most fertile day cause I thought it was the start of my period 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

sophherts · 03/12/2017 09:21

I'm 8dpo (or 10dpo according to my app), af due on Thursday and feeling crampy so assuming I'm out for December Sad I'm having none of the symptoms I had back in September when I was pregnant before my MC

Tempted to try SMEP next month although my DH would find it a bit too much I think, he's so busy at work!

Has anyone else had their DP find it a lot of pressure during the FW?

Stellarbella · 03/12/2017 09:48

I’m out this time, BFN this morning and have woken up to AF spotting. Onwards to January Smile

ImpatientMammy · 03/12/2017 10:00

Good luck to everyone who's out for this month I think I'll be joining you in about 2 weeks sending lots of babydust x

nk1605 · 03/12/2017 10:01

Ok I am officially in the tww (or the 9/10 day wait in my case with short LP). Positive OPK on Thursday. But not feeling too hopeful due to short LP and the fact that we were going to give dtd one last shot last night but DP couldn't...v frustrating but only time will tell now!

ImpatientMammy · 03/12/2017 10:09

Quick question would my most fertile point be at the lowest point in temping? X

Hi all! Well, AT arrived yesterday, bang on Fertlilty Friend's prediction. Obviously gutted but due to falling temps not overly surprised so still had a great time as Xmas party last night... and ate all the brie and drank loads of champagne so not all bad! Onto the Jan bus for me... next AF due 1st Jan!!! I literally don't think we could have done any more this month except have lower stress levels so bfn is disheartening... it does make you question what went wrong, esp when lots of people can get bfps on first attempt! However, dh and I are going away over fw this month so will be much less stressed, have much more time, and hopefully be much happier.
Congrats to everyone who has got their bfps already... and those of you who haven't... see you on the Jan bus!

HoneyCake86 · 03/12/2017 10:36

Impatientmammy it doesnt have to be, depends on various signs. Fertility friend pinpoints my ov after fertile cm, +opk if there is one and 3 raised temps after. Heres my chart Just to show you what i mean..

Sorry AF reared her ugly head surreygirl. Heres to soft cheese and christmas booze and lots of luck for a new year BFP xx

HoneyCake86 · 03/12/2017 10:57

9dpo today, bfn but a .1 rise in temp. Negligible but still above coverline. AF due in 4 days and a tiny bit crampy. I have a feeling it won’t be this month, but then its my first cycle after coming off POP pill. How’s everyone feeling today? BrewFlowers

LookingAtTheStars89 · 03/12/2017 11:16

@FruitandNutty. I agree, exercise is good :-) I'm hoping the extra cm is a good sign. We are still dtd just in case. The extra cm has come in handy! Normally we have to use lube (fertility friendly) because I get dry (sorry tmi!) but no need at the minute Smile

LookingAtTheStars89 · 03/12/2017 11:17

I am not testing early thus month though as I can't stand the bfn' s, they are harder than flo arriving I think.

FruitandNutty · 03/12/2017 12:06

Thanks @ImpatientMammy. Took your advice and went to the gym. Feel so much better for it and less stressed.

@LookingAtTheStars89 wish I had your will power with not testing early!! But I totally agree that bfns are a worse feeling than AF showing up.

I’ve still got this twingey dull pain feeling on and off on lower right hand side of abdomen. Temp has spiked to 36.9 today, which isn’t unusual for me at this stage in my cycle (9dpo). But I’m not due AF for another 6 days.

hungryradish · 03/12/2017 12:09

Feeling quite crampy which is probably just a sign of af but it's so difficult when you had been on the pill from a young age & don't know you own cycle at all! Still keeping fingers crossed for this month although if I have a 'normal' cycle will be due in about a week, so will just have to wait & see.

What's this about fertility friendly lube? :O

louella99 · 03/12/2017 12:19

@sophherts yep my DH found it a bit much in our first month ttc, had performance issues for the first time ever.. then banned me from mentioning it because it was purely psychological and he was desperate to move on. Which he did! I'm attempting SMEP this cycle, only on cd 11 today and getting negative opks so haven't got to the 3-days-in-a-row bit yet!

RiverRose · 03/12/2017 12:25

Hi ladies, been feeling a bit down for a few days so haven't been posting.

I am what would be 10 dpo today on what is an ivf cycle. We had 2 embryos transferred.

Had no symptoms at all and today have developed a horrid cold to top it off.

But happy and scared and shocked to announce I got a BFP just now Shock the one this morning was negative but turned positive after 10 minutes. This one taken just now came up within the advised 3 minutes Grin

nk1605 · 03/12/2017 12:29

@sophherts Completely agree. My DP was feeling the pressure, a lot more than I realised. This is our second month ttc...the first month there were no issues but this month he felt it was becoming all too regimented. We were following SMEP, and when we got to the 3 days in a row, we only successfully did the 2. We tried the 3rd day, about 3 times before just accepting it wasn't going to happen. If we're not lucky this month then it has to be more laid back next month

nk1605 · 03/12/2017 12:29

@riverrose congratulations!!

HoneyCake86 · 03/12/2017 12:42

Riverrose congrats!! Xmas Grin

sophherts · 03/12/2017 12:48

@RiverRose congrats!!

@nk1605 we had that last month, dtd once in the fw so this month I added him to my app so he could see when the fw was without me having to put him on a schedule. He's even initiated it this month even when he's been exhausted! I'm just worried that 3 days in a row might be a bit much...

Just did a CB and kicking myself, not sure if it's a squinter or if I'm seeing things because I want to Confused I'm crampy and got a horrible chesty cough that's come on the last couple of days

sophherts · 03/12/2017 12:50

@louella99 it's amazing g isn't it, I thought he'd be well up for it, like being back when we first met & couldn't keep our hands off each other! Fx for you

HoneyCake86 · 03/12/2017 12:51

Louella im also ttcing without my partners full on attention.

He knows what im doing and wants to ttc but i find its so much more calm like this! When its time to dtd i just get him worked up (sorry tmi) i never tell him when im ovulating. He just does his bit, i let him know if AF arrives.. just the basics he needs to know to be in the loop

ImpatientMammy · 03/12/2017 13:02

Congratulations @RiverRose
Thanks @HoneyCake86 I downloaded fertility friends and copied my information over it looks like I ovulated yeaterday which is the only day we didn't dtd because I thought aunt flow was about to arrive 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

FruitandNutty · 03/12/2017 13:07

Congrats @RiverRose!!

HoneyCake86 · 03/12/2017 13:15

Dont worry about that hun. If you have dtd around ov day there would still be plenty sperm knocking around. Providing that conditions inside you (fertile cm for example) sperm is said to be able to last up to 5 days. Plus you have the couple days it takes for the egg to move down your tube where sperm can get to it. Still plenty chance Xmas Smile
