December Bus - Christmas Wishes

Hi all,

I’ve decided to take the plunge and make a December Bus. I know it’s still early in Nov but for those of us whose cycles fall early in the month it’ll be nice for us to have a new thread!

Had so many symptoms in October (unusual for my regular AF) so felt so disappointed when it wasn’t meant to be.

Anyway let’s hope December is our month and hope for that Christmas surprise!

Been away a few days and had high hopes as AF was 3 days late and high cervix but AF arrived this morning - beyond gutted. Next af due between Christmas and new year, going to try temping and OPK This month. Congratulations to everyone with BFP this month and fx for all of us staying on the bus!

@HoneyCake86 yeah I had a posative OPK on Friday then Saturday it was 100% negative not a line to be seen. We had a long drive Saturday and when we arrived I had what I'm guessing had been spotting so I thought it was the start of AF. But we dtd for 3 days before and I'm gunna attempt the next 3 days just incase. Just a shame we've missed my most fertile day.

Oh so the friday just gone? So yeah id say friday or yesterday. Youd be surprised how quick the lh surge drops again. That happened to me with my 4th. Sounds like a plan but dont worry too much about that one day, the next couple days your egg would still be around in your tube. I hope it works out :)

So I need a spot of help...I have a cycle of 24-25 days. I'm 4dpo and if I have implantation at 7-10 dpo surely thats not enough time before AF is due. This is my first month using FF so not sure if this may be the reason for not having a BFP for 6 cycles? I'm a bit confused!!!

Funkyemzie don’t worry too much about that. Some women do have shorter luteal phases (the time post-ovulation) and still have babies. Implantation can range between 3dpo and 10dpo depending on individual women. Everyone is different

AF was due yesterday/today, but instead I'm now on day 5 of spotting!! First day was light pink and every day since it's just got browner. I've had more spotting today than the other days but it is literally just brown cm. really thought I'd get out of bed this morning and af start as had horrible typical af style pains and cramps this morning, but still nothing other than the spotting. Frer in the middle of the night was bfn so I know I'm not pregnant!

@Honeycakes thank you!! I could drive myself crazy constantly looking at these bloody charts every month and each one is different, definately find this one the best. I didnt realise it could be as early as 3dpo for implantation, good grief thats early. So, is the lutael phase dependant on when you ovulate or will it always be the same length of time for myself, as in accoring to this chart, looks like 10 days in total? Sorry, still confused i guess, you would think after all the reading we do it would seem quite simple but i'm terrible!

lost the positive pictured is from a test looked at within the time limit specified on the instructions it was the slow positive before that that spurred me on to test again.

We have been ttc for over 18 months and our investigations showed we were unlikely to ever conceive naturally so this is such exciting news for us. Though I am very wary of it not sticking.

Thanks everyone, I'll pick myself back up again tomorrow as we all do! Could I please get some advice on temping/ovulation testing..up until now we were taking the laid back 'if it happens it happens' approach, but today has hit us both hard and I'm thinking about trying to actually read my body and track what is going on so I have more of an understanding of it all. In theory I'm telling myself that this will release some of the pressure as I will know if/when I ovulate and what is happening after, however I'm wary that this may make me 1000x worse as I'll me more obsessed in my ttw! Can anyone tell me if they think tracking helps with the pressure and getting your hopes up or makes it worse? I'm also unsure about the length of my cycle and when to test as last month it was 26 days and this month 30 so it may help me keep an eye on this too? If anyone is due AF between Boxing Day and New Years days let me know and you can keep me strong and stop me from testing early!

I am still getting BFPs but they’re still not as dark as the control so not going to let myself get too excited yet...AF due on Tues so if I get past that milestone I might start believing it!

I’ve managed to keep it from my partner for 3 days now :) only told my one year old haha!

Awww @Pinkslink17 I hope your ok for me I knew I was gunna obsess no mater what. Temping and OPKs just helps distract and gives me a false sense of control .
And yeah @HoneyCake86 one day very obviously posative the next the most negative OPK I've had yet x

Im not 100% sure emz i imagine it would depend on when you ov, if you’ve recently came off contraception or had a baby (cos that could mess cycles up).... with me personally, mine has mostly been the same with each time i have ttc’d. When i tried for my youngest my first cycle was mostly AF lol

@Fia256 I'm in exactly the same position as you! I was convinced AF had arrived yesterday, but it was more heavy bloody cm , and nothing today . If she doesn't arrive overnight I'm going to buy a first response in the morning before work

Here’s my chart back from when i concieved my son (can you believe ff still has it on there!). It was the most annoying cycle ever, but it still ended up with a BFP.. that bean is now a hell-raising 4- year old 😂

@Funkyemzie I also have an LP of under 10 days. It does worry me sometimes but I have read lots of posts from others getting pregnant with short LPs. Keeping fingers and toes crossed :)

Today I got the closest to a positive OPK I’ve ever had & have a fair amount of EWCM so I’m hopefully ovulating tomorrow! Exciting after not ovulating last month, DTD every other day this week and will have another go tomorrow... fx it works!

Thanks guys. I've been off the Depo injection since August 2015 so its been a while, we wanted to leave it a year or so before ttc. So this is now cycle 8 but properly ttc cycle 6. It hasn't always been this short, only these last couple of cycles. Had mh 21 day bloods last month which were 32.5 so all ok there.

I early tested last month and am determined not to do it this month, but my work xmas do is the same day as AF would be due so if its not here, I'll do a test to see if I can drink!

@tappitytaptap wish I was as self-controlled as you! I tested today at 10dpo and I can't make up my mind if there's anything there or not.

Fml think I might have an infection or something as I'm cramping very badly and losing lots of small clots and just passed 4 bigger clots (bigger than 50p)
