December Bus - Christmas Wishes

Hi all,

I’ve decided to take the plunge and make a December Bus. I know it’s still early in Nov but for those of us whose cycles fall early in the month it’ll be nice for us to have a new thread!

Had so many symptoms in October (unusual for my regular AF) so felt so disappointed when it wasn’t meant to be.

Anyway let’s hope December is our month and hope for that Christmas surprise!

Yes @HoneyCake86 I always get it! I had horrific tummy ache and pains yesterday so I’m certain that was it!

BFP due 5/12/17

Not entirely sure about cycle length after recently coming off cerelle, so we will see. Also, DH left the country for work on the day that I was due to ovulate so no DTD that day. Fingers crossed and baby dust to all xx

Started doing OPKs from Monday (CD8). Today's looks pretty close but I'm not sure this is a positive just yet? Surely CD10 is too early?

Hi everyone! Good luck to everyone in FW at the minute and wishing a speedy TWW to you all!

I am due to ovulate on Saturday according to Flo so been dtd every other day since Sunday to try and catch it. My cycles have been really long since coming off the pill back in March so I wasn't sure if I was ovulating, but CD2 blood tests for prolactin/testosterone/LH etc. all came back normal so fingers crossed! Trying to temp every morning to get a better idea of if I am or not but I realllllllllllllllly like my snooze button ....

Flo has me down as AF/BFP on the 10th December but if my cycle is as long as last month it won't be til the 15th. I'm hopeful I'll know by the 9th/10th as have a big event that will be very obvious if I'm not drinking at!

I'm joining this bus but not holding out much hope 😞 my cycles baffling me so much and I'm obsessing... I need to relax 😂💕

Having really bad cramps today and yesterday. Due AF on 25th but am feeling way more run down than usual.

Don't know if it's having the coil removed messing with me? Anyone any ideas?

@peterpanwendy I'm on cd12, flashing smiley' s on my clear blue opk for the last few days, just waiting for the big O. Dtd every other day since cd4 so far so feeling hopeful! I've started drinking a glass of orange juice in the morning for the vitamin C :-)

@LookingAtTheStars89 I Ov’d on CD16 according to my opk’s so have another 10 days or so till I can test... it takes so long! Well done you are on it, baby dust all round!

I usually ovulate on cd18 so I'm curious to see if it'll be any earlier this cycle. I wouldn't normally have a flashing smilely until cd15/16. Yeah lol I pounced on dh as soon as he got home! x

Af/bfp due 10th December. I know it's still early days, but I'm feeling really down about the whole thing as I just thought it would be easier than this. Everyone I know (colleagues, friends, cousin) have conceived in first or second month :-( I can't stop thinking about it. I currently temp and we are using Preseed this month, as well as trying to opk but haven't had a positive yet (i'm CD 13).

@FruitandNutty. I'm one cd behind you! Don't worry too much if you haven't had a positive yet, I haven't had one either. I've never used preseed but I'm using conceive plus x

Fruit and nutty...try not to stress. Cycle 4 is still early and I swear ppl exaggerate how quickly they got pregnant. My SIL is about to have her 1st and it took her a year to get pregnant but there’s nothing wrong with her! Just hang in there as it can take time.

I’m CD 19 but only 2dpo as I ovulate late!

Thanks for the words of reassurance LookingAtTheStars and Babydreaming. On the upside I know that when it does happen for us we will be so grateful and have so much love waiting for our future baby. Good luck to everyone!

@NoPirloNoParty when did you have your coil removed? Sorry I can’t see your post further down the thread if there is one!

My first cycle post coil was 45 days and I had all sorts of strange cramps/weird symptoms for the majority of it - I think they really play down the effect it can have afterwards when they’re both putting it in and removing it!

Morning Ladies. Hoping someone can shed some light for me.

According the Dr I was due to ovulate yesterday. Had to see him on CD12 to check my lining. I also had a positive OPK on Tues. we DTD Mon, Tues and last night. Last night after DTD I just went to sleep. This morning at about 9am I checked for CM and it was EWCM. Do you think that was still left overs from DP swimmers or that it's my CM?

Definitely feeling super impatient over here too. I'm on CD18 but not due to ovulate for another couple of days due to long cycles. No temp spike yet and I'm not using OPKs yet (they sound tricky to interpret!) so just dtd every other day and hoping for the best! Feeling like a long month already...

Having a bit of an emotional start to the day. One of my friends had a baby last night and I can't even get a static face on my stupid clear blue opk! I thought I was cd13 but I'm actually cd14. I was hoping there would be a static this morning but it's stupid flashy face was flashing away grumpy face.

@heavenforbid Dtd every other day when you tend to ovulate late can be exhausting (talking from experience!) X

Looks like ill be ovulating later or tomorrow- got an ache deleloping in my right side. So im estimating my test day to be 7 dec. so im officially on the dec bus!

Haha definitely Looking - fun for the first week or so and then knackering! Doesn't help that I am full of cold and really not looking or feeling my best - nothing says sexy like a face full of snot

Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit emosh today. Hopefully you'll get the static smiley tomorrow! My best friend is definitely pregnant (she hasn't told me yet but I'm 100% sure) and I'm feeling stupidly sad about it (at the same time as being happy for her of course.. just a bit jealous.)

Ooh Fx Honey ! I am watching all of you guys posting about OPKs and the clear blue smiley thing with great intrigue as thinking about trying OPKs in the new year but haven't a clue about them. So I can argue that being on MN is an educational experience for me

Hi guys, i'm popping in and out between the November bus, af due next wed/thurs but going to try and hold off testing until 1st Dec if she doesn't show by then.
FruitandNutty I'm very similar, age 29, ttc #1, cycle 5 of actively trying although been off contraception since March. I'm feeling a bit fed up too, it's hard going isn't it.

Since we started ttc I've been really conscious of saving money and have been putting past some every week for the "baby fund" i feel this helps me deal with the bfn's a little better, i try to think on well that's another month of savings i'll have, not a huge comfort but gives me something to focus on

@pixielove123 not sure sorry, have you had any more EWCM since then?

I'm officially in cd 1! So now fully on this bus. I knew I wasn't going to get a BFP as we'd dtd at all the wrong times and none of the right ones! Did it before and after the fw and not at all on the the days we needed to.

Shifts fall much better for December so hoping I'm in with a chance this month!! So AF (and wine) for tonight but at least I know I'll definitely be due to test on 23rd December. Roll on!

@HoneyCake86 forgive me if I’m wrong as yours might be different to the ones I had but shouldn’t the stronger line be the one nearer the ‘mark’ bit to be positive?
