December Bus - Christmas Wishes

Hi all,

I’ve decided to take the plunge and make a December Bus. I know it’s still early in Nov but for those of us whose cycles fall early in the month it’ll be nice for us to have a new thread!

TTC #1
Cycle: 2

Had so many symptoms in October (unusual for my regular AF) so felt so disappointed when it wasn’t meant to be.

Anyway let’s hope December is our month and hope for that Christmas surprise!

After reading all the posts about temp dips and opks etc, surely it’s just easier if you gave sex every day? Or every other day? Then you wouldn’t need to use all that?

Yes - however the temperature rise proves ovulation occurred. Without a temperature rise it is possible to be not ovulating at all which is obvs a concern!

@LookingAtTheStars89 you will have to keep me updated! What day are you going to poas?

Well my temps are still flat, but it’s also taking a long time to get a reading so think my monitor is definitely on the brink. Out of ovulation tests so can’t take one of those. I could be 5dpo, I could be 1dpo, I could not have ovulated at all. It’s all so exciting this guessing game

Welcome everyone!! This thread is getting excitingly busy.

My husband travels to Africa for work regularly. This month he’s been away since Sun (CD 15) and back next Sunday (CD 21). I ovulated today! We dtd on Sat so that’s my only opportunity. I just found out next month he’ll also be in Africa during my fertile week, it’s so annoying!

Who is the first to test for a BFP?! I’m 2 weeks off testing so no excitement here!

As I have no idea if or when I’ve ovulated this month, I will be doing a test on Saturday in the hope I ovulated when originally thought. If it’s bfn I will wait until the 1st dec x

I’ve had quite a long mat leave from my first and would like to get back to work for a bit longer before a 2nd so just trying to see each month it doesn’t happen as positive for my career...if that makes sense? Makes it easier to accept when he’s away over fertile week anyway!

Well starting me tww now however same as you fia not sure when I actually ovulated and haven't dtd enough technically anyway so not got much hope. Will be dtd literally for fun the rest of this week if we can!
P.s already watched 3 you tube videos about early symptoms WHY WHY!!!

Flashing face on clearblue ovulation stick this morning! Woohoo! Dtd last night, good job really. I wasn't expecting a flashing until cd16! The b6 must be helping. Just got to wait for that lovely static face :-) x

@Funkyemzie I will keep you updated :-) I'm going to poas on period due date and not before. It'll be hard but I don't want to spend like a week thinking maybe? It's too frustrating. I'm focusing on getting ready for Christmas during my tww:-) x

We didn't dtd last night (I tried but DP was too tired) and I woke up this morning with AF like cramps. Can't be anything significant as its too early and I'm convinced I'm out for this month even if we dtd tonight as we just haven't dtd enough. Probably my mind playing tricks on me

@babydreaming how frustrating your 18th being away over fertile week! @balibound I think I read somewhere that cramps can be a sign of ovulation..?

Good news for me - finally got a temp spike so I think I just ovulated a little late. Just hope that rise lasts now!

Right well I think I'm out...did temp and ovia said I was too low what the heck! I'm 33.15 apparently I must have an illness and need to go to a&e for being so cold lol!

Owl could that possibly be an implantation dip?!

Fingers crossed! I have horrible tummy pains this evening. The only time I’ve ever had it like this was when I had implantation with my last pregnancy. However even if I ovulated first time round I’d only be 5dpo so don’t think it’s that, so hopefully it’s bloody Ovulation!!

33.15? Gosh that is low! Broken thermometer?? Hopefully it'll go up in the next couple of days!!

@owlpatrol that is exceptionally low. Yeah I think maybe a new thermometer is in order! Ok so I read on another post that vaginal temps are more reliable that oral? Has anyone tried this and is it better?

Owl me too, my temp has gone up a good amount so I’m counting myself as 1dpo today. Annoying as it’s a week late after delaying itself but least I’m there now

FIa are you still going to test on sat then? Any other early testers?

@Babydreaming yes I think I’ll test on Saturday still, just on the very off chance that I did ovulate when I first thought. And only because I’m going out for a bottomless prosecco lunch and hot tub party that day.
If it’s then a bfn which I’m sure it will be I’ll hold off until 30th nov/1st December!

Fia do you usually get ov pain? After my 2nd child i get it real bad. Like- painkiller bad. And its so local i can tell which ovary it is. but whenever ive told someone that i get it they have never heard of it and look at me like im mad lol
