Meant to say congratulations @Impala1980 and sorry for your loss at the end of Feb. Xx

Impala1980 · 16/10/2017 12:38

@flatwhite31
Thanks and I really hope your cycles get back to normal soon and you get a BFP...
Now I'm 8 months on from my loss I can clearly see what a dark place I was in for at least 3 - 4 months but it does get better with time and you will begin to feel hopeful again one day ❤️

Glitterbug76 · 16/10/2017 12:44

Have you ever thought about accupunture ? I was trying for 2 years to get pregnant was pregnant within 2 months she was affiliated with zita west who runs a clinic in London but has accupunterists all over ,
I couldn't get in with my acupuncturist she was was but the new one is a research midwife and trains midwifes to deliver accuputure ,
Look on Zitas website she's renoud world wide and the success stories are heart warming

MissMagpie · 16/10/2017 13:47

So sorry for what you are going through Lotty. Big hugs.

That's really disappointing for your husband and you Daffodil. Is his job under threat? Can he explain what he was going through and ask for another opportunity to take it?

Impala, thanks for the cycle info. I am in my second cycle post-MC and don't think my body is back to normal yet. Congratulations on your pregnancy - we all hope to be joining you on that journey soon.

NoCatsHere · 16/10/2017 16:33

Hi all been a while since I posted. Been really ill and not been able to dtd much which is super frustrating to miss another month probably.
Anyway got a peak on the clear blue today so going to jump dh tonight!

Anyway thought I'd say it's taken months to feel better about my second mc. And also my cycles were very odd after, with long drawn out afs. So people that are worried things just take time to get back to normal I think. My third cycle suddenly seemed much more like I was used to.

unicorn and filly so happy to see your bfp great news!

dude you put it so well in one of your comments about us sticking together and supporting each other, it was lovely to read so thank you.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/10/2017 16:58

Hi all. Sorry not had time to post much. I agree on the weird AFs. I’ve not had one much longer than 2 days since my mc. I’m on cd2 now and it’s pretty light. Cd1 was horrendously heavy. Wtf. Starting acupuncture next week so hope it gets then back to normal. I’m concerned I don’t have enough lining to support a pregnancy now. Cycles have been 26-33 days since the mc. Ovulation day ranges 15-21. LP always 12/13 days. Good luck everyone

can't remember if I've congratulated you filly and unicorns but if not - massive congrats!!

So, lit a candle for our bean last night then get a whats app from a friend saying she's just had a baby boy. Not her fault, she doesn't know it's baby loss awareness week I'm sure but still!

Then insensitive roommate did it again today - she'd broken her carrier bag with all her shopping in and asked how she was going to get it home and she said "I'll probably just carry it like a baby". Not sure if she's doing it on purpose tbh.

THEN our sports and social committee like my idea of a pumpkin carving competition for halloween so the girl in charge messaged to say she'd come down to talk about it - well, she's about to pop - a baby from a one night stand so not even planned! Had to put her off saying I just came up with idea but didn't want to be involved in the details!

GOD!!!!!!!

However, I am at least in TWW. Though not expecting to get pregnant because nothing ever really goes my way. For some people it just all falls into place, not me. I have to fight for frigging everything.

Flatwhite31 · 16/10/2017 19:05

@Glitterbug76 yes I have. It's just so expensive! Might be worth thinking about though, as I can't go on feeling like this.

I'm going to ask the doctor on Thursday if I can take any anti depressants while TTC. Literally can't cope feeling this shit anymore.

beanhunter · 16/10/2017 19:19

Ok so my period is super weird. I'm cd 9 today and have started bleeding again having stoped on cd 5-6. Ugh.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 16/10/2017 20:33

Bean how strange!
My first Af has been normal albeit starting very heavy. It finished with spotting yesterday cd 5.

flat hehe! Yeah why not! It's not worth wasting a cycle, you just need a old calpol syringe now 😂 that's what i use to insert my conceive plus!

3 more days until fertile week 😁

costal how insensitive!!! 😠☹
If you don't mind me asking what's your living arrangement like in regards to a roommate? Xx

coastalchick · 16/10/2017 20:38

Sorry, mean roommate at work! Live with OH

Glitterbug76 · 16/10/2017 20:39

Costal
Please don't think like that ! But I know what you mean my hubby said when I got pregnant after his mum died it was our gift from her an when I miscarried I felt like sayin to him no something like that happens to others not us !
Kerry Leanne
Thanks for that info on stress ! I always thought it was stress that stopped you from getting pregnant an I hope it makes us all with busy
lives less guilty and feeling awful about not getting pregnant.
Flat
Think my acupuncturist is so busy because we don't get any tests or one ivf treatment on the NHS in my area , and lots of people try it
before IVF
Congrats unicorn and filly
Found this poem
Love to you all

TTC after pregnancy loss - lucky thread 13
Flatwhite31 · 16/10/2017 20:42

Haha @BlueeSpottyTiger! Isn't this such a glamorous business! Lol. My AF is quite heavy today. Got a GP appointment for Thurs morning about my hormones and taking anti depressants if possible while TTC (just going to miss half an hour of school. I'm more important than my job!). I was lucky to get the appointment as it's a cancellation.

@coastalchick That's so insensitive. Some people just don't care about miscarriage, because they don't see it as a real baby. It's really sad, and I feel sorry for them for having such a lack of empathy.

@TheGrumpySquirrel Good luck with acupuncture. I've just emailed a local place about reflexology. I can't go on feeling this stressed.

@beanhunter My last AF was the same. Random bleeding after a break of a few days. So cross that my hormones have gone haywire and that I can do bugger all about it.

beanhunter · 16/10/2017 21:30

And also flat I would totally not miss fertile time - unless you're confined to separate rooms at the parents?! We will be away this time next week when it'll be hopefully o time. We've got a family room but with dividers so we can separate our bed from our daughters into two rooms!

Flatwhite31 · 16/10/2017 21:55

No separate rooms thankfully @beanhunter! My parents aren't old fashioned thank god, and we are married! I just don't feel comfortable with the idea of sex with my parents' bedroom really nearby!

Fillybee · 16/10/2017 22:30

@flat it's got to be done, whap that pot out if you can't bear to dtd with parents nearby! But the risk is your parents might find the pot and the syringe and think you're conducting some sort of experiment that they want to quiz you on!!

Glad you managed to get a quick GP appt 👍

I've got my recurrent miscarriage clinic appointment tomorrow 😬

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/10/2017 22:30

Flat white it’s totally possible.. just be efficient and quiet 👍🏼

dudemeister76 · 16/10/2017 22:31

The last time i had sex at my parents house(in May) i conceived lol.

grumpy you are making me wonder about the short AF thing. Mine came on heavy the morning and has already started to tail off! I'm going to ask the doctor about it....

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/10/2017 22:33

I must admit I’m finding it harder again now my due date is less than 8 weeks away. Probably only 1 chance to get a BFP before then. Feeling so empty. And slightly ridiculous for not being able to “get on with my life” if that makes sense. Everything is waiting for this baby.

OP posts:
KerryLeanne84 · 16/10/2017 22:37

Big hug grumpy, I really hope you get your bfp soon.

All this talk of parent house sex is reminding me of the night before my iui, - you are told to have sex but there was a pet cat in our bedroom (couldn't be let out due to my parents dog). So we tried to have sex in the bathroom, the floor was so uncomfortable!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/10/2017 22:37

Dude, I think it’s the mooncup (at least partly)? I remembered that right? You posted before about it making AF shorter?. I did yoga tonight and it got AF flowing again, I’d say medium, so pleased about that. Cd3 tomorrow 👍🏼

OP posts:
dudemeister76 · 16/10/2017 22:41

Yeah i know but now its niggling in the back of my head that my lining is also too shit! i am going to squat 90kg tomorrow as usual so hopefully this will get me going again. Ive been off gym for a week so this may mean i can't walk properly for a couple of days lol.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 16/10/2017 22:50

I’ve been eating steak and spinach to try and keep my iron up. My af blood is a lot less clotted / brown this month - much redder - I think thanks to the b vitamins I have been taking daily for the last few weeks (the only thing I’ve done differently). So that’s good I guess. Sorry for tmi!

OP posts:
coastalchick · 17/10/2017 07:06

@grumpy - totally understand. That feeling of being in limbo/everything being on hold because all we want is to get pregnant. We are same - won't set wedding date or book anything at all now as baby is focus. It's exhausting

Flatwhite31 · 17/10/2017 07:31

@TheGrumpySquirrel I totally get that. I was so looking forward to finishing work in Feb half term, but I'll now do the whole academic year. The plan is to now try and get pregnant by Christmas so I can start Mat leave at the beginning of a new academic year. Doesn't look like it's going to happen though with the way my body is going Sad.
