Come one, come all, new and old, no-one wants to be here, but at least we're glad we've got each other :) Flowers

Hope your stay here is short.

Now, some BFPs if you please and BFNs for those who are waiting for them too!

Hotcookie what a pretty chart. Do you pay for your account? I love all the tracking you've got set up.

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/08/2017 18:41

Thanks for your thoughts. lisa, it was normal Monday morning when I woke up, usual time, so not sure why it was a circle one. I had a dotted cross on cd13 3 days later and then it changed several days after that to a solid line on cd17 but I had no other symptoms and had had ewcm and cramps which lined up with cd13. Normal cycles around 26 days so ff saying this one is 30 seems nutty and I've never had one that long even after surgical management. So bloody confusing! I know only time will tell but we're getting quite jittery...

Gorgeous chart cookie! Thank you for sharing. Your implantation dip was cd6? That's early I think? But it's clear as day. I'm so happy you're pregnant, lovely green line Smile Hope they give you a scan soon. When will you have your booking apt?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 13/08/2017 19:49

Testing in the morning. Fully expecting a bfn but who knows. 12DPO. Wish me luck 😬

yellowfrontdoor · 13/08/2017 19:55

SJ sending you tentative congratulations Flowers

Grumpy wishing you the very best!

So after my hopeful twat madness yesterday I had another bfn with fmu, plus two decidedly negative OPKs.
I just want AF now, still cramping so hopefully it's imminent. I just want to get 'normal' again!

hotcookie · 13/08/2017 20:45

mouse I bought a years subscription about 3 weeks ago (was reduced) I'm hoping I don't need to use it again! (I don't think you can pause it)
anne I don't know re appt-I self referred to midwives thurs pm, so hoping they get in touch tomorrow, but could be a few days. There is a private early scan place nearby so will book one of them if no luck otherwise. GP filled in maternity exemption cert so I should get a card this time. I feel bad as was at a festival from 6-9dpo drinking lots of cider (I didn't think we'd a hope this month!)
I flip back and forth between terrified/anxious & happy/hopeful... Just want this one to work out

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/08/2017 20:45

Good luck grumpy! Hope you're having a fab break.

That sucks yellow, sorry love. When's af due? Cramping could mean either, what a shitter symptoms can be so similar. Wishing you some clarity very soon.

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/08/2017 20:52

Good news on the card cookie, it's so useful and hope you get an epu scan but good to have a back up option. Don't worry about the cider! You're not pregnant till you're pregnant and your baby is living off its little egg sack at the moment getting everything it needs all cosy and safe and warm. So hope things work out for you and you have a good scan.

yellowfrontdoor · 13/08/2017 20:55

@AnneLovesGilbert I have absolutely no idea. My ERPC was 10th July, but my cycles can be around 40-50 days. Hopefully AF will turn up at the weekend & I'll be put out of my misery. I'm not peeing on anymore sticks, even opks, until I've had AF.

BertieBotts · 13/08/2017 21:01

6dpo is textbook for implantation dips. Though the evidence of them is a bit iffy. It seems that it's basically that they occur in both pregnant and non-pregnant charts, but slightly more often in pregnant charts than non-pregnant. So it's not a sure fire sign but it's a good symptom.

I got one at 6dpo too this cycle but my temps are weird so who knows.

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/08/2017 21:12

Thank you bertie, you're my temping guru. Will have to see what happens! Fx for you too.

emvy · 13/08/2017 21:23

hot I feel exactly the same - scared of letting myself feel hopeful and resigned to it ending one way or another. I'm trying to take it each day at a time - each day I get through still pregnant is a step in the right direction. If I make it to the 12 week scan I know I'll be expecting bad news but trying to allow myself little glimpses of what it would be like to get that far and get good news. One day at a time x

Grumpy, good luck for tomorrow!

yellow, hope af comes soon for you so you know where you're at.

Anne, sorry I can't offer any advice on the chart but I have everything crossed for you x

TheGrumpySquirrel · 14/08/2017 03:54

BFN on FRER so expect AF in the next couple of days. Onto cycle 4 post mc Sad

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/08/2017 09:43

Crap bags, sorry Grumpy Sad Plan something nice for today, look after yourself.

I've entered terrifying HT territory as has DH. Huge temp spike today and spent about an hour last night geeking out on photos of implantation dips. What am I doing to myself?!

yellowfrontdoor · 14/08/2017 11:13

What we all do to ourselves Annie! I lost a frightening hour you-tubing live pregnancy test results.
Sometimes I wonder what's become of me Hmm

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/08/2017 11:18

Grin People peeing on sticks on camera?! Or them showing other people they were pregnant? Sounds amazing.

Any sign of af...?

yellowfrontdoor · 14/08/2017 11:25

Annie pretty much. I was searching 'live pregnancy test, 7dpo' etc.

T'was a long long rabbit hole I fell in to!

What a Saturday night I had!

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/08/2017 11:38

Blimey. I'll have a look later. I'm shattered after not getting to sleep till about 2 then having mental dreams and waking up a couple of times. Today has very real rabbit hole potential.....

not looking up due dates or anything, honest

I've been doing so well since June when I had my last really mega HT/anxiety episode and it's all gone to shit. I so desperately want to be pregnant Sad

can you fly with a 6 week old baby, how do you get it a passport?!

Doublechocolatetiffin · 14/08/2017 11:47

Hi everyone, sorry I am struggling to keep up with you all!

Yellow and Grumpy I'm sorry about the bfn, they hit you like a tonne of bricks each month don't they.

Bertie and Anne you've inspired me to temp too. Not sure if it's really worth it given that I'm doing the clear blue opks too, but I figured it was worth a shot. No idea what I'm doing yet though! What should I be looking for?

I'm cd14 and peak fertility according to my clear blue opk. Trying to DTD every day, but exhausted so finding it hard. It's getting very monotonous this ttc business.

It seems like everyone around me is pregnant too which is depressing. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to be happy for people as I seem to turn into a jealous monster at anyone who can get pregnant. Not a personality trait I want or am proud of.

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/08/2017 11:59

It's so natural though tiffin, we've all been there xxx

I've never used opk but like that temping confirms ovulation. From a dtd perspective, you have to keep going after you think you've ovd as you don't confirm it happened till 3 days after. Both cycles I've temped the ov date on Fertility Friend has then changed to a couple of days later (it tells you when you've had 3 days days of increasing temps higher than the coverline).

If it's feeling like hard work you might find that makes it worse. I kicked myself this cycle because we dtd every days for ages, I was sure I'd ovd, and then didn't for two days and might have bloody missed it as FF changed my OD! Which obviously isn't stopping me from getting my stupid hopes up.... I'm not going to miss more than one day at a time in future till I've got a solid red crosshairs confirming it!

If you switch to every other day you should still be covered. Some people find throwing all the other stuff out the window and just focussing on dtd every other day means you don't have to think about timings. But temping itself is the easiest thing ever, I WISH I'd started last year. Taking charge of your fertility is a brilliant read, I got one second hand on amazon. Very straight forward and she manages to inject plenty of comedy into TTC. Which, I'll be honest, I find pretty unamusing most of the time. Worth a go. If you find it a hassle you just stop.

Depending on your working days, can you dtd as soon as you're both home before you settle down for the night a couple of times a week? Mixes things up a bit and you won't have it hanging over you when you're shattered and ready for bed to sleep. Or go for every other day.

Hongkong5 · 14/08/2017 13:04

Hi, can I join please - bit of an emotional wreck today! I had a mmc in April which was my third miscarriage in total (in between them I did have my ds who I am hugely grateful for). This is 2nd month of ttc after mmc and I got a bfn on a FRER yesterday and AF due tomorrow. I try to stay positive and relaxed but failing badly today!
So sorry for everyone also having a hard time - miscarriage and ttc after them can be soul destroying at times xxx

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/08/2017 14:02

Welcome hongkong, I'm so sorry about your losses Flowers

You're among friends here, no one gets it like this beautiful rabble, they've been keeping me sane!

Raysunshine · 14/08/2017 14:29

Hey, just wanted some Insight and wonder if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

Miscarried about 2 months ago but when I found out I was pregnant I didn't have sore boobs. Usually my boobs are really sore about 2 weeks before period and I have awful PMS. I kinda figured somehing was up because I always have breast tenderness.

After miscarriage I had a horrible AF (to be expected). This month, I am currently 7dpo am I don't feel any tenderness.. similar to when I found out I was pregnant but mc.

Anyone else have lack of symptoms before positive?
After I got my positive my boobs started hurting.

Any insight would be very welcome!

Ray

Raysunshine · 14/08/2017 14:42

Also apologies for not reading all these messages it would take forever!. I did see that lime has had a shocking time with her GP. Sorry to hear that and to everyone else going through awful circumstances. I hope we all get the BFP's and sticky beans soon.

AnneLovesGilbert · 14/08/2017 16:44

I had exactly that Ray with one of mine! I've awful sore boobs pre every af since I came off the pill and with one of my pregnancies I knew I was pregnant, mainly because I knew af wasn't coming, and looking back that was way ahead of when I tested. I turned over in the morning to DH on his birthday and said "I think I'm pregnant" and he said "I think you are too". And I was!

Minkyfluffster · 14/08/2017 17:04

Ray I always get moody, have always had a row with DH before getting a positive result
